Chapter 642: Chapter 641: A Secret Discovered

She sabotaged South Grant, doing things behind his back. South Grant wouldn’t let him talk, but he wanted to caution Fiona Grant to be wary.

Fiona also knew Seth was in cahoots with South, so she couldn’t badmouth South at this moment, only asking Stella Foster about the previous matters.

Stella Foster remained reluctant to speak, and finally, Fiona stopped bringing it up.

In the afternoon, Fiona left early. Nathan Foster didn’t welcome her, and Fiona didn’t wait for them to return.

Today, South Grant’s live streaming of product destruction was reported by many media outlets, and Fiona saw it on the city’s big screens.

Her gaze was cold and gloomy.

The same destruction, but South Grant received admiration while she was scolded harshly.

All of this was caused by South and Old Man Tate!

Just as Fiona was blaming everyone, she saw another person on the screen.

It was Professor Tate!

What was Professor Tate doing at South Grant’s destruction site?

Fiona parked and watched for a while, only to see that old guy stepping forward and saying in front of all the media:

"I’ve spent my whole life engrossed in research, passionate about it, never intending to publish my findings. Everyone knows that I previously had an unworthy student who stole my work and did many unethical deeds, making me quite unsympathetic towards these businessmen.

However, someone made me understand that being in business doesn’t necessarily mean being unscrupulous. Good things need to benefit everyone to be valuable and meaningful.

We shouldn’t let one bad experience make us fearful for a decade. She made me realize that there are still people worth trusting in this world. So today, I am announcing here that I am entrusting all my research formulas entirely to South Grant for manufacturing and development. I trust her and The Ellison Group."

When South Grant heard Professor Tate’s words, she was extremely surprised, seemingly not expecting him to say such things.

The camera captured South Grant’s stunned expression.

Seeing all this, Fiona felt a tightness in her chest.

That old bastard Tate.

How much effort she once put into pleasing him, yet couldn’t gain his support. If only he had been willing to give out those formulas, how could she have resorted to stealing them?

Now he caused her to fall from grace, yet ultimately informed everyone that he had entrusted all the formulas to South Grant.

Is there anything more infuriating than this?

Fiona slammed her hand on the steering wheel, feeling a sharp pain, and was urged to leave by the honking cars behind.

Fiona drove aimlessly, realizing her company, funded by selling The Ellison Group’s stocks, ended up with nothing but losses. Thinking about this, Fiona gritted her teeth in hatred.

Inadvertently, Fiona drove to South Grant’s company below, unsure why she did so.

By now, most of the media had left, and South Grant was dealing with follow-up tasks.

Once those matters were handled, South Grant headed to the side of the road to drive. As South walked to the roadside, Fiona thought about crashing into her, wishing how great it would be if South Grant were dead.

Then she would be the only daughter left, and could rightfully inherit The Ellison Group.

But if she really killed her like that, she wouldn’t escape, so Fiona suppressed that thought.

She drove, keeping far behind South Grant’s car, and noticed that she wasn’t returning to the villa but was heading to a restaurant.
