Chapter 112: An Endless Flood of a New Creation of Beasts

Tyler grinned while helping Kass to her feet.

"Go rest babe, I love you." He said to Kass, who nodded and headed to the cave. Tyler blocked it off for her after grabbing one of the health potions they had stored from the chests. He drank two of them and was back to full health.

He quickly darted outside and engaged the alpha. It let out a fierce roar, shaking the trees again before Tyler had an idea.

"Gaia, crush him." Tyler commanded.

"Absolutely," She grinned while appearing behind him.

The group continued to fight off the endless hoard of beasts.

"Tyler, they’re coming from over here!" Nyx screamed with excitement.

Gaia used her creation magic to summon an enormous boulder and crashed it down quickly over the alpha’s head.

’It really is limitless but it sucks I’ll only get stat points every 5 levels,’ Tyler thought while he and the 3 girls sprinted over to where the beasts were spawning. Tyler noticed a large red gateway where Dracovarguses continued appearing from.

"Nyx, what is this?" Tyler asked, confused.

"I have no idea. I’ve never seen anything like it. Sophie, Amanda, have you?" Nyx asked.

"Nope." They responded in unison.

"Looks like an Eidolon Generac stone... I haven’t seen one of those in hundreds of thousands of years. Something isn’t right." Ash said in a concerned tone.

"What are those?" Shadow asked, just as confused as Rex and Tyler, Amanda, Sophie and Nyx. Kass was still sleeping in the hideout.

"They’re stones Eidolons use to create an endless supply of beasts. It looks like one was purposefully put here..." Gaia said calmly while creating a barrier to enclose it.

"Tyler, use your staff to disable it." Leviathan said impatiently.

’System, can you disable this Generac Stone?’

Tyler grinned as his staff reappeared in his hand.

"Depress!" He shouted and a giant beam of energy shot from the ruby at the portal. The gateway started shaking before it collapsed into a tiny illuminating stone. The command center kept a close eye on the situation.

The girls gasped. They’d never seen anything like this before and Tyler was glad no one could hear the conversation going on inside his head.

"Is it safe to touch?" Tyler asked his familiars.

"Should be. Go grab it and see what happens?" Ash said confidently this time, relieved the portal was gone.

Tyler walked up to it and grabbed it. The second he touched it, it turned to dust. The group sighed with disappointment when fireworks shot into the air, causing them to jump.

"We need to find Armitage and get that mythological heart," Tyler said while recalling Gaia.

"It’s great all those legendaries gave us all these points but that stone was useless," Sophie sighed. She didn’t want to say anything that could be heard by the cameras.

"Well, we should get back and rest for a bit. That fight took a lot out of us. Our cave seems safe and we still have just over 3 days left," Amanda suggested.

"Good call babe. Everyone, let’s go warm up in our hideout and discuss our next move. We really need to get moving on that heart though," Tyler said calmly.

"I agree babe but Armitage is likely grouped together. We’ll have to take out 3 teams at once," Nyx said with a grin.

"I’m pretty sure we can handle anyone at this point after all of those beasts," Sophie said with a giant smile and a laugh.

"Hell yeah we can. Nothing is stopping us now!" Tyler smiled while Nyx teleported them back to the cave. Tyler put up the wall, cast his white flame and he allowed the girls to nap next to Kass. He wanted some alone time with his familiars, but Amanda wasn’t tired after all of her rest.

She started whispering to Tyler.

"It’s ok sexy. You can talk with your familiars. I know you don’t want the cameras to pick up what’s going on. It’s a really smart strategy, I love you but do you mind if I cuddle up next to–"

Tyler grabbed her and wrapped his arm around her.

"You don’t have to ask, I love you too and thank you. This Generac Stone isn’t normal. There’s a lot I have to figure out and I will keep you all informed when the time is right." He whispered into her ear with a soft smile, kissing her on the cheek afterwards.

She smiled, nodded and snuggled up next to him as he talked to his familiars.

The internet exploded with comments, reaction videos and Tommy V’s livestream caught all of the latest action.

"It looks like we have a new mythological crystal heart owner! Armitage 1 worked with their second team to corner SilverWing 2 and destroyed a ton of beasts in the process! What an epic turn of events! The real question remains: when will Armitage 2 and 3 finally betray their allies?!" The number one online personality exclaimed to his 1.2 billion viewers.

On another stream with 100 million viewers, a relatively new personality, EmieStreams, caught the battle with Tyler’s group and the new beasts. They were in shock and awe about the Generac stones and people’s reactions videos, memes and clips started going viral.

The control room remained calm, aside from Dean Pritchett who paced back and forth. The board of directors arrived an hour earlier and witnessed everything. They always assumed he had firm control over the forest and the students were safe to enter. The dean reassured them everyone signed waivers and knew the risks. The VanHorn family line development was unsettling news, but he was confident Tyler and his team would get to the bottom of it.

"So you’re putting your faith in your students to clean up this mess? A bold decision indeed," the head of the board of directors, James McFeggan said while calmly sipping a class of whiskey.

"He’s the only communication we have between the two races. We have no other choice other than to trust him. He’s quite a remarkable student," Dean Pritchett said confidently while scanning the thousands of monitors.

Drakmore was engaged with Victorian University and SilverWing 1 was fighting BloodCrest 4. Ability 2 was desperately looking for resources as they just finished the last of their food potions and capsules. Armitage continued to move around together while firmly protecting their new mythological heart miles away from where Tyler and his group were. The Generac Stone was a headache, but a minor one at this point. The dean was just glad Tyler’s group catapulted into second place.

Amanda rested her head on Tyler’s shoulders while the others slept.

"So tell me everything you know about these Generac stones," Tyler said politely.
