Limitless Summoner System
Chapter 122: "Live A Normal Life!"
Ash appeared from Tyler’s chest in his human form to the stunned audience.
"Let him go," He said sternly to Tiamat, who turned and smirked.
"My cursed nephew, what a pleasure to see you. Make one move and his neck snaps."
"We both know I’m not that stupid. We get it, this is your territory. We won’t come back." Ash said firmly.
"You’re absolutely certain?" Tiamat’s grin grew wider.
"Tyler and the four women and his formal party will not return to this forest, no. The others... I cannot speak for them." Ash said kindly.
"Well I think they get the hint. They’re welcome to try if they’d like!" Tiamat chucked while tossing Tyler to the ground.
He quickly gasped for breath and the women with him all used healing magic, Qi or poured potions down his throat that the medical staff provided them. Clips were going viral, the dean didn’t know what to do and the board of directors looked confused. They could all clearly understand the Eidolon’s speech, which was something they never experienced. Aside from Tyler’s harem and a few of his friends, most of them didn’t know they had a human form.
"Remember today is the day you say humanoid Eidolons speak on my broadcast!" Tommy V said excitedly.
"Not to mention talks of Tiamat, the dragon goddess of legends and who is Tyler’s familiar?! A cursed nephew? What does it all mean! Stay tuned, we’ll have interviews and more after the break."
Tiamat changed into her mighty dragon form and roared, sending Tyler, the medical staff and everyone flying out of the forest. They crash landed on the outskirts of Ability Academy, scratched up and bruised. Ash shook his head in disappointment and noticed one of the Eidolons didn’t leave yet.
He teleported behind him and knocked him unconscious before grabbing him, turning into his phoenix form and flying away.
Tiamat charged at Ash and swung her heavy tail at him. He dodged the attack and held onto the young Eidolon closely. He wasn’t going to let her get ahold of him and any hopes of answers was in this young one who didn’t leave with the rest.
"Seraphim give him back!" Tiamat roared.
"Why didn’t he leave with the rest of your minions?" Ash questioned while zig zagging to avoid her bite.
"That’s a question I need to know the answer to, not you. Now give me my Eidolon back!" She demanded, going in for another swing at him.
Ash was quick. He was an adult and not near his full potential, but he could dodge the giant dragon goddess with ease. He knew he couldn’t win a one on one fight and didn’t want Tiamat to cause a rampage, but he also knew she couldn’t interfere with human affairs without judgement from Zeus. In his mind, she was already on a slippery slope by using the forest to force the two final teams to duel right away. This was his best chance to snag one of the others to get some answers.
Vox finally woke up.
"My lady, I won’t say anything. Go, I shall return to you in the forest." He said confidently while staying in his human form in Ash’s talons.
"You’re lucky he can’t hear you otherwise we’d have a problem. Hurry back, you know we only have 28 days." She sneered before veering off and vanishing back into the forest.
’Huh?’ Ash thought, confused.
"Tyler, something’s off. I have one of their Eidolons and all of a sudden Tiamat just let me take him. They must have a different form of communication like I do with you."
"Nice work Ash! Who did you grab?" Tyler said while healing everyone in the area and patching himself up.
"No clue. He stayed back when everyone else disappeared. So much for those forest adventures." Ash sighed.
"I’ve never seen this Eidolon before," Gaia said bluntly.
"Nor have I... strange..." Leviathan yawned. "I need rest. Congratulations on your victory Tyler. You should celebrate."
"For real! Nice job kid!" Rex clapped.
"Seriously, your team kicked major ass Tyler. You should be proud. The Eidolon stuff can wait. Clearly Tiamat is interested in your power." Maximus said while looking around for any other signs of potential danger.
"Everyone, go rest in the realm if you need to. Otherwise stay with me. Vivian, when Ash gets here, please try to charm him. If that doesn’t work, I’ll use Kass."
"No offense to your future wife, but if I can’t..." Vivian stopped. "I’m sorry Tyler, that’s not what I meant. I just mean if he’s an Eidolon and loyal to Tiamat, Kass is going to have a hard time. So is Nyx."
"Shit, right. Nyx can charm too. She even fought off my link with you but you were able to get her yourself. This is a fucking mess. What the hell did Tiamat really want with me? To make an example out of me in front of the world?" Tyler asked, perplexed.
Ash finally landed with the Eidolon.
The dean and board of directors came rushing out.
"Shit..." Tyler muttered.
"Looks like you’ll be joining us in our realm," Shadow chuckled.
"I’m sorry Dean Pritchett, but we must go. Celebrate our win without us if you must," Tyler said while Ash flew through the portal with Vox.
"Tyler! Stop right there this instant," the head of the board said.
Tyler turned to him while Sophie, Kass, Amanda and Nyx walked through the portal.
"What do you want from me? We won the event. Tiamat attacked me. No one can go to the forest and we have an Eidolon. This isn’t something you should meddle in," Tyler said as politely as he could.
"We could interrogate him, arrest him."
"And have Tiamat storm your station and blow up the school?" Tyler asked while keeping his calm, charismatic demeanor.
The head of the board and the dean talked for a few seconds, whispering back and forth to one another.
"Ok, we will trust these matters to you. Just please, come back safe. You’re supposed to do interviews, celebrate, live the life of a college teenager!" the Dean said enthusiastically.
Tyler smiled. "You have no idea how much I wish I could do that."
He walked through the portal and realized they were in a completely new location.
’Please route us to the Castle,’
[Map processing. Complete. Estimated time of arrival: 8 hours.]
Tyler sighed.
’We could just teleport but then we don’t explore any more of this realm. I need to power up a bit anyway.’ He thought while walking over and hugging each of the girls.
"Are all of you ok?" Tyler asked with concern.
"Yes, we’re the ones worried about you! You looked like you were in so much pain!" Nyx said while hugging him tightly.
"Seriously Tyler, don’t go worrying us like that!" Sophie echoed Nyx’s sentiment while kissing his cheek.
"Thank you for trusting us to win the fight though, that was very sweet of you," Kass smirked while giving him a quick kiss.
"That’s right mister! You finally didn’t do everything yourself. Good job. I love you!" Amanda said while sneaking in a kiss for herself.
"You were all amazing, all of you. I love you all so much," Tyler had teary eyes.
"Sorry to break up the wholesome moment but what should I do with this one?"
"Ash, let him go." Tyler said calmly.
Ash gently set down Vox and Tyler’s staff appeared in his hand.
"Sorry for stealing you and trapping you down here, but why don’t we have a little chat?" Tyler asked with a kind smile.
