Chapter 124: What Just Happened? [Bonus]

Tyler anxiously waited as the hot water rolled off his back. For the first time in a week, he felt relaxed. He wanted to know what his system meant by the more information portion of winning the tournament and was wondering what was taking it so long to say something.

’System, please provide the information from the completed quest.’

’Of course I have to talk to him.’ Tyler sighed.

He crawled into bed and snuggled up to Kass and Nyx. Sophie had her arm wrapped around Nyx and on Tyler’s chest and Amanda was the same with Kass. They said their "love yous," and "goodnights" and despite it taking awhile, Tyler finally fell asleep.

Tyler woke up and the bed was empty. He looked around the room and was confused.

"Where’d everyone go?"

"Not sure. It’s just you and me too. Everyone is off doing something." Ash yawned.

"How long did we sleep?"𝘧𝓇ℯℴ𝓂

"You think we keep clocks down here?" Ash laughed.

Tyler chuckled. "True...Well they couldn’t have gone very far."

Tyler checked the other rooms of their home in the castle but no one was there.

’Hm.’ Tyler thought.

He put on clothes from his dresser and started making his way toward the throne room. When he got there, he was surprised to see Sophie, Kass, Amanda and Nyx already speaking with Bahamut and Asura. Vox was nowhere to be found, which made no sense to Tyler.

"Morning sunshine!" Sophie said while blowing him a kiss.

"Hurry up sleepy head, you’re missing out on an amazing story!" Amanda giggled while waving Tyler to come sit.

Tyler rushed over and took a seat and listened to the story Bahamut was telling about when Ash was a baby. Apparently, he absolutely hated his human form so much he refused to transform for 10,000 years. When his little sister, Gaia, was born, he finally came out in his human form so he could hold the little Eidolon. Bahamut and Asura told the story with passion and love to the delight of the girls.

"You really don’t like that human form don’t you?" Tyler laughed.

"Hate it. It feels so awkward. Why would I want to stand on two feet when I can fly?" Ash joked.

"Uh, your majesty, who is Vox and what is this Path of the Righteous quest thing I’m on?"

Asura looked at Bahamut and nodded.

"You see Tyler, you are a completely unique being. The choices you make, the path you chose to live will dictate what type of person you will ultimately become," Bahamut said with a soft smile.

"Ok, I get it, you don’t want to tell the women. Tell me what’s going on, please?" Tyler asked politely.

"Your birth parents do not exist. You were created as a completely new person on this planet. You were created as a human with limitless growth. Your life dictates what you become. For now, you’re human. Whether you end up a wicked, withered lost soul, Eidolon, demon, demigod, god, well, that is completely up to you." Bahamut said calmly.

Tyler sat frozen for a moment and his harem knew something was off. He didn’t look happy or sad, just someone frozen in shock.

"Tyler it’s ok babe. Whatever happens with you, we’re with you no matter what, ok?" Sophie said while standing up to hug him.

"You don’t have to worry sexy! You get to marry us all in two weeks. Stop looking like you just saw a ghost and smile, you’re going to be a prince!" Nyx said while walking over and giving him a kiss.

Tyler’s face finally lightened up and he smiled. In his heart, he knew something was always different about him. Why would he come to a planet and have new parents? He already lived a life with those. The will was a hoax created by a god and goddess as a cover up to someone who didn’t actually exist. His worry now was that he was practically a celebrity and a prince, people would start doing some digging.

’I can do that,’ Tyler thought with a large grin on his face.

"Don’t worry about your papertrail. We have that covered. All of your relatives are deceased and what you chose to share with the women in your life is your choice but remember, you are under no pressure to tell them anything." Asura said kindly.

"So the invasion is real...your sister wants the forest for power and doesn’t want this planet to die either, does she?" Tyler asked, piecing the puzzle together.

"No, she does not. Once she found out you were created and a threat existed to her comfortable life, she immediately sprung into action. She will eat you for your power, so be careful." Bahamut warned Tyler.

"Ok, what about Vox?" Tyler asked, still confused.

Vox appeared next to Bahamut and Asura with a grin and a wave.

"Why hello again." He said politely.

"How the hell are you?!" Kass demanded.

"Seriously, this is confusing. Tyler is some unique being who can go beyond SSS and now there’s a mysterious Eidolon who has never left the forest and been underneath Tiamat’s thumb the entire time. What is going on?" Amanda asked with a blushed face.

"I would like to make a contract with Tyler, if that is ok with him?" Vox asked politely.

"What?" Sophie said bluntly.

"Vox was created by Asura and I back when Tyler was born. We planted him in the forest and gave him instructions as a baby to gain Tiamat’s trust. When the time was right, he’d return to us and form a contract with Tyler," Bahamut said with a roaring laugh.

"A double agent..." Tyler smirked.

"How the hell did you walk through my sword?!" Sophie exclaimed.

"Oh, that? That was easy," Vox chuckled.

"Easy how?" Sophie asked with an eyebrow raised.

"I am a space based Eidolon. I merely traveled to my plane while walking through your sword to give you the illusion I was walking through the sword. Essentially, I’m a glorified teleporter."

’System form contract with Vox similar to those of Ash and Leviathan. Also include the clause he cannot give any of the information about any of us to Tiamat.’

Once again, two golden pieces of parchment floated in the air in the ancient text of Eidolons.

Vox signed without hesitation, which surprised Tyler.

Kass used her nail to cut Tyler’s thumb and he put his blood print on the parchment.

Tyler grinned as Vox turned into a little white ball and floated toward him.

"Sorry for deceiving you. I was the one who led the ladies to the Generac Stone. You should look for more creation crystals, although I would not advise going to the forest." Vox said calmly.

"What about you? Isn’t Tiamat going to be pissed?"

"We will cross that bridge when we need to. In the meantime, it looks like Sophie really wants your attention."

"Well, I suppose we should head home, what do you all think?" Tyler asked.

"Yes! But please head straight to the apartment. I don’t want to deal with the school just yet. Plus, it’s my night if we’re doing this the right way!" Sophie said excitedly.
