Chapter 137: Here Come The Brides (1)

For all the effort everyone put into the wedding, Tyler was surprised when Nyxara’s father knocked on his door at 9 am. They walked to the courtyard which had around 100 guests waiting. There were several people with cameras filming the beautiful scene. Tyler put on his white suit with a red shirt and black tie. Even his dress shoes were white.

The walkway was white and red with rose petals on it. It led up to an oak platform with a beautiful altar that had the Atwood family crest on it. Adam, Alex, Finnick and Paul were already standing in their spots and Katy, CeCe, Rose and Andrea were standing on the other side of them. The men were wearing black suits with white shirts and red ties and the ladies were dressed in red.

The King and Queen sat on the platform and Tyler watched Sophie and her dad walk down the aisle.

’This is going a lot faster than I expected but she looks amazing,’ Tyler thought while smiling brightly.

Mr. Grace walked Sophie to the end of the walkway, bowed to the Vampiric King and Queen, whispered, "I love you sweetheart," and let her go. Tyler met her at the bottom of the platform and helped her up.

"You look amazing," Tyler said quietly.

"You look quite handsome yourself."

He took her hand and walked up to the spots where the vampiric priest started speaking.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, we are gathered here today for quite an extraordinary event. For the first time in our very long tradition, we have a prince who will marry multiple women. Because of this very joyous occasion, I will move things along promptly while not trying to rush them. Marriage is a beautiful thing, especially for those of us who are lucky enough to be immortal. Fortunately, even the two humans standing before us share that very same trait. In ancient human traditions, the phrase was "until death do us part," but I think it’s safe to say for our groom, he intends to stay with each of these fine women for the rest of his life."

The crowd clapped and Tyler grinned. ’That is what humans used to say,’ he thought while giving a quick glance to the sky.

"Ms. Grace, is there anything you’d like to tell Mr. Rask before becoming his wife?"

"Tyler, you literally ran into me and made a really lame joke about us running into each other for some bigger reason. Well, it turns out you were right. I am honored to become your wife and am looking forward to living a very happy life with the vampiric people. I love you!" Sophie said with a few tears running down her cheeks.

"And Mr. Rask?"

"I really did make a terrible joke, didn’t I?" Tyler laughed, as did the crowd, including the King and Queen.

"Sophie, you’ve always come across as this really strong, intimidating person but I’ve watched you transform into someone even more powerful while showing me the giant teddy bear you are at heart. I meant every single word I told you when we met Bahamut and Asura and I’m lucky that you are willing to marry me. You are a beautiful person and have a kind soul and I can’t wait to see what our future holds. I love you!" Tyler said with a larger than life smile.

A little vampire wearing a cute red dress ran up to the minister and handed him a blue box.

"By the power of the gods, goddesses and the noble vampiric people, I now pronounce you husband and wife."

The crowd erupted in cheers and Tyler opened the tiny blue box. It was the most amazing ring he’d ever seen. It was completely sapphire with a giant diamond on it. He slid it on Sophie’s finger and to the surprise of the crowd, he kissed her.

Sophie was glad for the kiss because of all the alerts playing in her head. The crowd continued to whistle and clap.

"I know it’s a lot, but you’ll get used to it quickly. Just think system and it’ll display a nice interface for you," Tyler whispered into her ear when he finally broke away. He could tell she was finally standing steadily.

"This is unbelievable. Thank you so much, I love you babe." Sophie said while giving him another kiss.

She showed off the ring to the cameras and her parents. Her parents were both crying while they applauded.

Tyler didn’t have time to focus on any of that right now. He watched in amazement as Sophie replaced her close friend Andrea as a bridesmaid and her dress changed from white to red to match the other bridesmaids. The only difference was the dress’ color, it remained her immaculate and ornate wedding dress.

"See you soon buddy!" Ash said cheerfully before he floated out of Tyler in his white orb to the area Amanda was waiting.

"Well you look amazing!" Ash said while grabbing Amanda’s arm.

"Thanks Ash, you look quite handsome yourself. This is crazy! This thing is going to fly right by isn’t it?" She asked nervously.

"Yes, it does seem that way. Well, let’s go and get you married!"

Amanda walked out with Ash and Tyler grinned. It was the best deja-vu he could ever hope for.

The crowd all stood and applauded, Ash bowed to the King and Queen and Amanda gave Sophie a wave.

The minister slightly changed his speech and asked Tyler if he had anything he wanted to say first this time.

"Amanda, I remember meeting you in the hospital and you said you were an elf that couldn’t heal herself. I don’t think I’d ever felt more sad that day. I had already gone through so much and seeing you down like that made me realize how fragile life can be. I’m glad Ash was able to heal you and I’m glad he’s standing with you today as the beautiful S ranked woman you’ve become. You’re kind, amazing and always know how to cheer me up. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you!" Tyler said, still brimming with excitement.

Amanda was crying, but she made it very clear they were tears of joy. "I knew I was going to be a mess for this, mister!"

The crowd said "aw," and several of them clapped to encourage her.

"Tyler, I’ve never met someone who treats all four of us like we’re the most important beings in existence. Every day with you is a new adventure and I can’t wait to see what our future together holds. Thank you to all the vampiric people for accepting me into their community. I love you Tyler!"

This time a small boy in a vampiric suit ran up to the minister with an emerald box.

"By the power of the gods, goddesses and the noble vampiric people, I now pronounce you husband and wife."

Tyler slid the ring onto her finger while kissing her.
