Chapter 262: Checking Stream income, Cashing Out

The Grandmaster paused, his eyes widening slightly, though he did not look entirely shocked by the request. Even Balzac peeked out from his painted beach chair, lowering his sunglasses to listen.

"Is this something urgent?" the Grandmaster asked, leaning forward over his desk.

"It is something personal," Solomon responded flatly. He crossed his arms and added, "And since I am officially considered a VIP student who just secured a massive asset for the academy, I am sure my demands should be fulfilled without much hassle."

The Grandmaster laughed softly, shaking his head at the boy’s blatant manipulation. "You do not need to leverage your VIP status for this. Second-year students are legally permitted to take a week-long leave of absence once every semester."

Solomon shrugged his shoulders. "Then I would like to use that leave right now."

The Grandmaster pulled a blank parchment from his drawer, quickly drafted the formal permission, and stamped it with the official academy seal. "You should be able to leave the campus grounds once you hand this document to the portal warden at the Terminus."

Solomon took the parchment and folded it neatly. He then unbuckled the heavy leather strap crossing his chest, hauled Eden’s Penance off his back, and placed the massive executioner’s sword directly onto the Grandmaster’s mahogany desk with a heavy thud.

The Grandmaster blinked in surprise. "What is this?"

"I do not want to carry it around with me," Solomon explained, dusting his hands off. "I will not be needing a giant sword when I am just visiting my family. It will be significantly safer here in your office."

"Are you worried that someone might try to take the sword from you outside the academy?" Balzac asked from within the painting, slurping loudly from his tropical drink.

"Absolutely no one can take anything that belongs to me," Solomon responded, his silver eyes flashing with quiet confidence. "But since I know exactly how precious this holy relic is, there could be many factions willing to try getting it by any means necessary. I just do not want to give anyone the chance to cause collateral damage near my home."

"There is no need to worry about your family. Everything about them has been protected by the academy and nothing will ever happen to them. We take the concerns of our VIP students quite seriously, you see."

"Yes, I have heard about it, and it might be late, but thank you for doing that. It’s because of that that I can do missions and train without worrying about them."

"Well..." the grandmaster took out a brush and drew a frame around the sword and it immediately turned into a painting. "Consider it secured."

’That’s some cool shit!’

"I will be leaving now."

"Don’t cause any trouble."

After securing his weapon, Solomon left the Grandmaster’s office. He navigated the pristine corridors of the administration wing, passing through bustling intersections and wide lobbies until he reached the primary Help Desk.

The receptionist sitting behind the counter was a tall, slender Elf with long, pointed ears and shimmering green hair. He wore a crisp, tailored academy uniform and tapped efficiently on a glowing crystal keyboard.

"I would like to see my stream points income," Solomon requested, leaning against the counter.

The elven helper nodded, typed a rapid sequence into the crystal console, and pulled up a translucent blue holographic report. The file contained an overwhelming amount of analytical data, graphs, and viewer engagement metrics.

Solomon ignored the complex charts and focused entirely on the primary numbers. His total follower count had increased to almost ten thousand dedicated subscribers, while his peak concurrent viewership during the boss fights had reached nearly ten times that amount.

He then checked his total accumulated stream points, calculated from all the viewer gifts, live challenges, and basic engagement rewards. The final number sat comfortably at a bit over one million points.

"How much is this worth in dollars?" Solomon asked.

The elven helper looked up from the console. "The conversion rate is clearly mentioned in the mandatory rulebook provided during orientation."

Solomon simply gave the elf a blank, emotionless stare.

The helper sighed and pushed his glasses up his nose. "The conversion rate is ten points to one dollar."

Solomon calculated the math in his head. One hundred thousand dollars. He nodded in satisfaction. "I would like to cash out all my points."

"There will be standard transaction fees, currency conversion fees, and the academy’s mandatory cut deducted from the total," the receptionist informed him professionally.

"How much will all of that be?" Solomon asked.

"The academy will deduct the mandatory fifty thousand points, as outlined on your first day, which covers your monthly enrollment quota," the helper explained. "The remaining conversion and banking transaction fees will total roughly one percent of the final cashed-out amount."

"Cash it out," Solomon ordered.

"Do you possess an account number, or would you prefer to open an official Academy Bank Account?" the helper asked. "If you opt into our internal banking system, there are numerous benefits and financial functions available to you."

"What kind of benefits?" Solomon asked curiously.

The elven helper slid a glossy, magically animated flyer across the counter. Solomon picked it up and read the scrolling text. The perks sounded almost too good to be true.

The standard account offered zero maintenance fees, instant cross-dimensional currency conversion, and direct, secure transfers to any recognized bank in the modern world. However, the premium tier that was available exclusively to high-value students and top-ranking streamers offered ridiculous benefits.

It included an unlimited, interest-free credit line for the Stream Shop, automatic asset protection shielding his funds from external legal disputes, and a secure, anonymous purchasing proxy that allowed him to buy rare artifacts from the black market without revealing his identity.

Because of his newly acquired VIP status and his massive point balance, Solomon was surprisingly eligible for every single premium perk.

Solomon shrugged his shoulders. "I will give it a go."

The helper picked up a sleek, technomagic telephone and dialed a quick extension.

A few minutes later, the designated banking agent arrived. The agent was a short, impeccably dressed Goblin wearing a tailored three-piece suit, carrying a leather briefcase, and sporting a pair of gold-rimmed spectacles.

’Yup, looks like an agent,’ Solomon said in his mind.
