Chapter 280: Entering Another Dungeon

Paul looked at the folder in sheer disbelief. "How am I supposed to do that? Should I take this to the Awakened Department of the local authorities?"

Solomon pondered the option for a second. "They will likely just confiscate the evidence and hide the scandal to maintain public peace and harmony in the city. I do not trust any local association or corporate organization. I am sure there are corrupted individuals embedded everywhere, and an entire department can suffer simply because of a few bad apples protecting their own interests."

"What should I do then?" Paul asked nervously.

"I want you to record a detailed video explaining the entire conspiracy," Solomon ordered. "Show every single piece of physical proof and documentation clearly in that video. Then, upload the recording onto every single network channel on the internet, the public Awakened forums, and everywhere else you can think of."

"Just because I upload a video onto the internet does not mean it will automatically go viral," Paul argued reasonably. "There is no guarantee people will watch it, and the corporate guilds will definitely try to get the video deleted the second it gains traction."

Solomon nodded. "You should add some specific hashtags to the title to ensure it catches the algorithm. Add the tags ’#SoloMan’, ’#LSA’, and ’#LiveStreamingAcademy’. Also, tag the official LSA administrative accounts directly in the post if you can."

Paul was incredibly confused. "Why would the Live Streaming Academy even care about a local real estate scandal in Blue York?"

Solomon offered a devious grin. "You will find out very soon."

"I will record the video and do everything exactly as you asked," Paul agreed hesitantly, tucking the folder into his jacket.

"You can also submit the physical documents to the local authorities handling the massacre case," Solomon added, hopping onto the front seat of the scooter. "Just make sure you get a stamped police report or an official receipt as proof of submission before they try to bury it."Paul stared at Solomon as the teenager strapped a helmet onto his head. "Where exactly are you going right now?"

Solomon gave him a cheerful thumbs-up and twisted the accelerator. He rode off down the street before Paul could stop him.

Paul watched in utter shock as Solomon drove the scooter straight toward the restricted perimeter of District Six. A temporary military station had been constructed entirely around the pulsing dungeon portal, heavily guarded by ’Six Saver’ guild enforcers and police barricades.

Solomon did not slow down. He pressed the accelerator to its maximum limit, increasing his speed as he barreled directly toward the barricades. He began honking the horn frantically and yelling at the top of his lungs for the guards to move out of the way.

"He is not actually going to do that, right...?" Paul muttered in sheer disbelief, his jaw dropping open.

A few heavily armored guild officers rushed into the middle of the road, raising their shields to stop the speeding scooter. Solomon simply lifted his legs, kicked the officers’ shields aside as he blew past them, effortlessly fended off their reaching hands, and drove the electric scooter straight into the swirling portal of the dungeon.

Paul watched the teenager disappear entirely into the swirling blue vortex. He let out a breathless gasp. "Did anyone tell him that it was an S-rank dungeon? It cannot be cleared by one man alone! Even a fully equipped, veteran S-rank adventurer would struggle to solo it like that!"

Meanwhile, Solomon, having just driven the electric scooter directly through the dungeon portal, kept his momentum going. He blasted out of the opposite side of the gateway, expecting to land on solid ground.

Instead, he shot straight out over a precipice.

Before his vision could even stabilize to process the new environment, the cliff edge immediately vanished from beneath the scooter’s tires.

"Oh, you have got to be kidding me!" Solomon cursed loudly.

His voice echoed and stretched comically as he and the electric scooter plummeted straight down into the abyss, falling exactly like a cartoon character who had just run off a cliff.

Solomon managed to angle his head downward while falling.

It was an incredibly deep, terrifying descent. Realizing the heavy scooter was positioned directly above him, he immediately planted his boots firmly onto the seat and launched himself away from the vehicle, ensuring the heavy metal frame would not crash down on top of him when they hit the ground.

He glanced around frantically while in freefall, desperately looking for a stray branch, a protruding root, or a vine to grab onto.

There was nothing.

The environment was a sprawling, barren desert of towering sandstone mountains and sweeping valleys. There were no trees, no vegetation, and no vines. Even the adjacent mountains were too far away to reach. The cliff he had just driven off was simply a wide, isolated plateau that dropped vertically straight down into a massive canyon.

Solomon let out a sigh as the ground rushed up to meet him. "How come I always end up in ridiculous situations like this when I literally do not even do anything wrong? Why is my luck always this terrible? I came here to clear a dungeon like your normal adventurer. I have been lucky for the past few days when I was at the academy, doesn’t that mean my unlucky has arrived or this city is just cursed for me?"

A short while later, Solomon finally hit the ground back-first.

He plummeted directly into a massive dune of incredibly fine, soft desert sand. The impact buried him deep beneath the surface.

Although the sheer kinetic force of the fall tore his muscles and caused a severe concussion, he wasn’t permanently hurt. The angel heart beating in his chest instantly flooded his system with rejuvenating energy, rapidly healing the massive internal trauma.

A second later, he heard a loud, metallic crunch as the scooter slammed into the sand nearby.

’Yeah, I was right about getting off it...’ he thought.
