"Then let your ex-boyfriend get the punishment he deserves! Why should my son become a coma patient while he gets away scot-free!" Brianna Wilson’s gaze was cold, staring directly at Nicole.

She thought her son became like this because he was trying to save Nicole. Even though it was quite sad, she had no opinion of Nicole. But today she overheard the conversation between the Seys siblings and found out that the person who harmed her son was actually someone associated with Nicole’s ex-boyfriend!

Nicole not only has a tangled relationship with an ex-boyfriend but also had a child and has a history of ectopic pregnancy! Not once did her son mention any of this to her! Otherwise, this marriage arrangement, it might as well not happen! Now, it has instead harmed her son!

Nicole looked at Brianna Wilson, afraid she would faint from anger again, and dared not provoke her, bowed her head in silence.

Brianna Wilson was also furious, coldly finishing her words before turning back to her son’s hospital room.

When Ariel Morris came on behalf of the Seys Family to visit Steven Cooper, she clearly felt that Mrs. Cooper, Brianna Wilson, was noticeably colder towards her. Ariel Morris glanced at Father Cooper and said to Nicole, "Then please take good care of Steven, Nicole."

Ariel Morris watched as the Cooper parents walked out, her gaze falling on Nicole, who had not left the hospital or gone home. Watching her thin, pale face, Ariel sighed.

"Does Mother Cooper blame you?" Ariel asked.

Nicole pursed her lips and lightly nodded, "She thinks Jose Floyd had Camden harm Brother Cooper, and she also knows about my past with Jose Floyd."

"No wonder." No wonder Brianna Wilson’s attitude had become so cold, "It’s only human nature, and it’s not wrong for her to think this way, given the emotional entanglements between you." Ariel sighed.

Nicole stood by the window of the hospital room and nodded.

"Nicole, what if I hire two caregivers to replace you for a couple of days? You don’t look well; Steven Cooper’s condition won’t improve in just a day or two, you need to take care of yourself."

"It’s alright, I can manage, I’ll take care of Brother Cooper myself. The more I take care of him, the less guilt I feel."

Ariel Morris looked at the pale, exhausted Nicole by the window, her heart aching for her.

The two of them chatted about family matters, and time passed quickly. Ariel Morris looked at the time, stood up, "Ryan and Iris are coming back from kindergarten, I have to go home now, I’ll see you next time. Nicole, is there any dish from Aunt Forest you want? I’ll bring it over for you."
