Finley’s gaze was still fixed on Iris Seys, and Dawn smiled, "Stop staring. We’re inviting Iris over to our house tomorrow; it’s the weekend, and your mom and I will both be at home. We’ll take you, Iris, and Ryan out for some fun."

Ryan Seys cheerfully stuck his head out the car window, "Uncle Dawn, really?"

Dawn nodded, "Really."

"Remember to pick me up. Finley, you better wait for me."

Finley nodded slightly, his gaze turning towards Iris Seys.

Jorge Saxton caught sight of Finley’s eyes, his smile deepening, "I’m leaving, Dawn. By the way, Iris can’t come tomorrow; I’ll take her to meet a playmate—a boy who returned from abroad. He’s quite handsome."

Having said that, Jorge Saxton got into the car and raised an eyebrow at Dawn, with a hint of provocation.

Weren’t you mocking my single status just now? How about me stealing your son’s crush?

As Dawn watched Jorge Saxton leave, he called for Finley to get in the car.

Dawn chuckled softly, "If you like her, go for it. Don’t be like your mom and me, worrying too much and missing out on so much time together in our youth. Luckily, your mom was brave, and I realized it wasn’t too late, so everything was recoverable. Finley, I don’t want you to follow in our footsteps; be brave, and maybe everything will turn out well. At least as long as Iris likes you, Uncle Arlo and Aunt Ariel won’t stop you."

Finley turned his head to look at his father, with a calm tone and expressionless eyes, "I don’t like Iris Seys; Dad, you misunderstood. I’m helping her with her studies... just because Uncle Arlo is so outstanding, Iris’s grades are too poor to uphold the Seys Family’s reputation."
