Mafia Lord's Mute Sweetheart
Chapter 251 Your friend is a photographer?
Chapter 251: Chapter 251 Your friend is a photographer?
Daisy quickly took out her phone, scrolled through Annie’s messages and opened one of the photographs she had received earlier.
She turned the screen toward Mona. "Are you talking about her?"
Mona stared at the picture.
For two full seconds, she didn’t say anything.
Then she practically grabbed Daisy’s phone.
"YES! THAT’S SCARLETT HAYES!"
Daisy blinked at her sudden excitement.
Mona looked at the photograph again, then back at Daisy.
"Where did you get this I never saw this pic in her social media?"
Daisy typed a quick message on her phone.
My friend sent it to me. She’s a photographer.
Mona’s mouth fell open.
"Wait. What?"
Daisy nodded.
"Your friend is a photographer?"
Another nod.
"A photographer who takes pictures of celebrities?"
Daisy tilted her head, then nodded again, looking slightly amused by Mona’s reaction.
Mona stared at her as though she had just discovered that Daisy secretly owned a private island.
"Holy shit!"
A couple at the next table glanced in their direction.
Mona lowered her voice but her excitement didn’t decrease.
"Daisy! You have a friend who photographs celebrities and you never told me?"
Daisy quickly typed.
I didn’t think it was such a big deal.
Mona read the message and looked personally offended.
"Not a big deal? NOT A BIG DEAL?"
Daisy’s shoulders began shaking with silent laughter.
"Girl, do you understand what you’re saying? Do you know how many people would love to get a photograph with some of these celebrities?"
Daisy shook her head innocently.
Mona leaned closer, her eyes practically sparkling. "Please tell me she knows more celebrities. Please."
Daisy typed.
She’s a professional photographer. She recently did a photoshoot with several actresses.
Mona pressed a hand against her chest. "Oh my God. I’m actually jealous."
Daisy laughed again.
"Wait, wait, wait!" Mona grabbed her hand before she could put her phone away. "Please, Daisy. Please ask her to get me an autograph."
Daisy blinked.
Mona immediately began scrolling through her own phone.
"Actually, no. Not just any autograph. I need one from someone very specific."
She searched for a moment before thrusting her screen toward Daisy.
ADRIAN BLACKWOOD.
Daisy looked at the photograph.
Adrian Blackwood was one of the famous actors, known for his dark hair, striking eyes and roles in romantic dramas and action films.
Mona sighed dreamily.
"Look at him. Just look at him. If he ever looked at me like that in real life, I would forget my own name."
Daisy covered her mouth, laughing silently.
"I’m serious!" Mona insisted. "I’ve watched Midnight Promise, Kingdom of Shadows and The Last Vow. Do you understand how unfair it is for one man to look that good?"
Daisy’s eyes widened with amusement.
Mona continued scrolling through her phone.
"And don’t even get me started on his interviews. He’s so sarcastic! He once told a reporter that his biggest talent was looking handsome while being completely clueless."
Daisy laughed again.
"I swear, I would marry that man tomorrow if he asked me."
Daisy shook her head, grinning.
"Don’t laugh at me! I’m serious!"
Mona suddenly grabbed both her hands.
"Daisy, please. Please ask Annie if she can get me an autograph. I’ll personally help you choose every single piece of furniture for your apartment!"
Daisy quickly typed a reply.
I think Annie might know someone who worked on one of his films.
Mona froze.
Slowly, she lowered her phone.
"Excuse me?"
Daisy nodded.
Mona grabbed her hands again.
"Daisy, listen to me very carefully. I love you."
Daisy burst into silent laughter.
"No, really. I have always loved you, but today you’ve reached a completely different level in my heart."
Daisy shook her head, laughing so hard that she had to wipe her eyes.
Mona finally released her hands and sat back, looking deeply satisfied with her discovery.
"Okay. I won’t pressure you. Just ask your friend if she can get an autograph. That’s all."
She paused.
"And maybe a signed photograph."
Another pause.
"Actually, if she could get me a voice message—"
Daisy immediately raised a hand, stopping her.
Mona grinned.
"Fine! Fine. I’ll behave."
Their food arrived a moment later, interrupting Mona’s growing list of celebrity requests.

After lunch Daisy went back to the mansion.
Daisy had barely stepped into the living room when a woman’s irritated voice reached her ears.
"Honestly, do you even understand what I’m saying?"
Daisy stopped.
Mateo was sitting on the sofa with an open textbook in front of him. His hair was a mess, his eyebrows were drawn together and he looked as though he was one more sentence away from losing his temper.
Sitting opposite him was a beautiful woman in her late twenties. She wore an elegant blouse and a fitted skirt and her makeup was flawless. She looked pretty.
Unfortunately, her expression ruined any pleasant impression her appearance might have created.
She looked at Mateo as though he were the most exhausting person she had ever encountered.
"I have explained this three times already," she continued. "Three. How much simpler do you expect me to make it?"
Mateo shut his textbook.
"Maybe try explaining it properly instead of repeating the same thing over and over."
The woman’s eyes widened in disbelief. "Excuse me?"
"You heard me."
"Your brother is paying me a considerable amount of money to teach you and this is the attitude I receive in return?" She let out a disapproving laugh. "Do you have any idea how much time I’ve wasted sitting here?"
"Then stop wasting it and leave."
Daisy blinked.
Mateo was usually talkative, playful and full of energy. Seeing him this irritated was unusual.
The tutor gave him a contemptuous look.
"Gladly. Teaching someone who refuses to use his brain is beneath me anyway."
"Then why are you still here insulting me?"
"Because I was foolish enough to believe that you might possess at least a little common sense."
"Enough!"
Mateo’s voice rose sharply.
Daisy immediately walked over and sat beside him.
She touched his arm and gestured toward the textbook, silently asking what had happened.
Mateo turned to her, his anger giving way to obvious frustration.
"She keeps explaining the same thing without making it any clearer. Whenever I ask a question, she acts like I’ve committed some terrible crime. How am I supposed to learn if she won’t even answer me properly?"
Daisy glanced at the textbook before looking at the tutor.
The woman had been watching her.
Her gaze traveled over Daisy’s face and clothes, pausing briefly before she gave a faint, dismissive smile.
"And who might you be?"
