Martial Sovereign of the Turbulent World
Chapter 371 - 362: "Dharma" and "Force", Direction and Reconstruction
Chapter 371: Chapter 362: "Dharma" and "Force", Direction and Reconstruction
With the Perfection of three great arts and the formation of his Heart Scene and Dharma Form, much of the confusion in Fu Juemin’s mind was swept away.
The "Dharma" Fu Juemin spoke of could be seen as a "rule" governing the natural workings of the world, or perhaps a special kind of "command."
’The Talisman tradition of the Dragon Tiger Mountain Celestial Master Dao is a "Dharma." The Dirt Runes of the Demon Capital Nine Banners, which fuse with the Esoteric Sect, and the Demon-Trapping Array are also "Dharma..."’
’The incredible powers of the twelve Heirloom Magical Artifacts are also derived from "Dharma," and it’s likely a much, much higher level of "Dharma" than that of Dragon Tiger Mountain or the Esoteric Sect.’
’Of course, having "Dharma" alone is not enough; it also needs "Power" to drive it.’
’Therefore, disciples of the Dragon Tiger Mountain Celestial Master Dao must cultivate Good and Evil Merits; the Nine-Banner Organ Assembly Method consumes Vitality and breaks the Life Barrier; and the Trapped Dragon and Demon-Trapping Arrays require large amounts of human and animal blood, and even electricity.’
’When Xie Mingzhi unleashed the power of the Winged Death Ring, he also consumed a massive amount of his own Soldier’s Blood Qi, and even a portion of his Vitality.’
’Of course, with the support of the Life Ring, the loss of Vitality was probably not as great as outsiders might imagine.’
"’Dharma,’ ’Power’... Mana. Isn’t this exactly what I’ve been pursuing all along...’"
Fu Juemin’s gaze fell upon his own attribute panel, lingering on [Mana] among the four Basic Attributes.
Following this line of thought, if he broke down the concept of [Mana], everything seemed to fall into place.
The fundamental reason his [Mana] attribute had yet to unlock was likely because his Martial Arts and Skills had not yet reached the standard to be called "Dharma" and "Power."
’Whether it’s the traditions of the Dragon Tiger Mountain Celestial Master Dao, the Nine-Banner Organ Assembly Method, or the Esoteric Arrays, their "Dharma" was all explored, codified, and passed down by those who came before.’
’It doesn’t align with my "Dao." Not unless I completely abandon my current arts and start from scratch, cultivating the methods of the Celestial Master Dao and the Esoteric Sect.’
’That, of course, is impossible...’
’The twelve Heirloom Magical Artifacts, on the other hand, offer considerable inspiration and reference for my "Demon Martial Dao"...’
Helu once said that the twelve Heirloom Magical Artifacts were related to the Twelve Ancient Calamity-Level Great Demons.
Now Fu Juemin understood. Perhaps every Heirloom Magical Artifact contained a "Dharma" related to one of the ancient Calamity-Level Great Demons.
Sealing the "Dharma" of a Calamity-Level Great Demon within an artifact and making it wieldable by human power was, to a certain extent, quite similar to the core of Fu Juemin’s "Demon Martial Dao"—using the Martial Dao to control a Demon Talent.
With this in mind, the path forward for Fu Juemin became quite clear.
’I need to continue raising my Martial Dao Realm. This step relates to both "Dharma" and "Power."’
’Right now, with three great arts at Perfection and three types of True Gang fused, the quality and intensity of my Vitality alone—while I wouldn’t call it unprecedented in all of history—is certainly unrivaled in the current era.’
’But whether it’s enough to reach the level of "Power," I still don’t know. So I must improve further.’
’It would be best to achieve Perfection in four great arts and fuse four types of True Gang. If that’s still not enough, I’ll have to fuse even more...’
’Second, I must advance beyond my current Martial Arts foundation and transform "Skill" into "Dharma."’
’This aligns perfectly with my earlier idea to create the *Five Aggregates Muddy World Saber*.’
’Creating something from nothing is too difficult. I am not Martial Ancestor Mahakala. I still need to fight against different masters and absorb the essence of different schools and systems.’
’For example, Xie Mingzhi who cultivates Military Martial Arts, National Preceptor Sang Luo of the Esoteric Sect, and the so-called Little Celestial Master of Dragon Tiger Mountain and guest of honor to the Ding Wu Army, Zhang Yuanlin... they are all excellent sources of nourishment for my art.’
’Of course.’ Fu Juemin looked at the Jade in his hand and the saber at his waist, his eyes gleaming. ’If I could get my hands on a few unsealed Heirloom Magical Artifacts to study and analyze, that would be even better.’
Unfortunately, when he fought Xie Mingzhi, Fu Juemin’s interest wasn’t on the Winged Ring.
Killing him wouldn’t have benefited Fu Juemin much.
He took advantage of the situation to let Xie Mingzhi go. His real purpose was to use him as bait to draw out his backer, "Marshal Huo."
Xie Mingzhi knew that both the Exorcism Saber and the Bi Fangyu were in his possession, so he would be back sooner or later.
Although the next time they met, Fu Juemin might face the fully combined Winged Double Rings and the united form of Marshals Ming and Huo, he wasn’t concerned.
Having cultivated the Martial Dao to such a degree, he had long since developed an unshakeable, domineering mindset—a conviction that he was invincible, capable of facing any challenge and controlling any situation.
This wasn’t arrogance, but absolute confidence in his own strength.
There’s nothing wrong with being cautious when you’re weak. But if you become powerful and still lack the will to sweep across the world and dominate all creation, then all that power has truly gone to waste.
Having clarified his thoughts, Fu Juemin felt a great sense of anticipation for the future.
He had a faint yet incredibly strong premonition—when his [Mana] attribute finally unlocked, his strength would undergo an unprecedented, monumental transformation.
Lost in thought, Fu Juemin left the main hall and returned to the quiet room where he had been in seclusion for many days.
In truth, his seclusion wasn’t completely over.
He had hastily emerged the moment his Heart Scene and Dharma Form were complete, leaving a host of subsequent matters unattended.
Inside the quiet room, Fu Juemin sat down casually.
Looking inward at his Heart Scene, the Great Freedom Bodhisattva Mandala Demon Dharma Form shone with a brilliant light.
The might of the Great Freedom Bodhisattva Mandala Demon Dharma Form had already been fully verified. The Demon Buddha had not yet turned around, and with only two of the *Four Demon Buddha Forms* he had created, he had suppressed Xie Mingzhi, who was wielding the Winged Death Ring.
Its power could only be described as utterly terrifying!
As for the Demon Magic Dharma Form, it too had long since been completed and was located in the depths of Fu Juemin’s Consciousness.
Its form was similar to the Demonic Buddha Dharma Form, also having four faces and eight arms. The only difference was that all the Buddha Nature within the Demon Magic Dharma Form was gone, leaving only demonic nature.
On that four-faced, eight-armed Demon Magic Dharma Form, the central front face was featureless. The lotus throne it sat upon was a seven-layered black lotus throne. The eight arms did not hold Buddhist Magical Artifacts like a crystal bowl or a vajra shackle, but instead the Five Poisonous Creatures and many other Demon Souls... Its entire body blazed with demonic flames, its demonic nature soaring to the heavens!
Compared to the Demonic Buddha Dharma Form, it was more than ten times more terrifying and powerful!
’The Demon Magic Dharma Form is complete. The Demon Body should also be re-fused and adjusted...’
But Fu Juemin was in no hurry to release his Demon Body. Instead, he first set about fusing and upgrading the three major Talents that formed its foundation.
’First, let’s start with [Soft Bone]...’
With that thought, Fu Juemin slowly closed his eyes.
At the same time, in the void deep within his Consciousness where the many Demon Souls resided, the vast and majestic Demon Magic Dharma Form—a demon among demons, a fiend above fiends—thundered into existence.
On the central, featureless face of the Dharma Form, a new face slowly appeared like ripples on water—a face identical to Fu Juemin’s, but far more demonic and bewitching.
Under the gaze of this face, two great Demon Souls slowly emerged from the throng.
One was the Soul of the Black-Scaled Snake Demon, the other the Soul of the Human-Faced Demon Python.
The latter was firmly suppressed by the will of the Dharma Form, able only to watch helplessly as the former slithered over, opening its bloody maw to devour it....
....
「Three days later.」
In the quiet room.
The daylight outside was perfect, yet not a single ray of the bright spring sun could penetrate its gloom.
The four square windows of the quiet room seemed to be covered by an invisible, dark screen. As the sunlight fell upon it, it was completely devoured without a trace. Looking in from the outside, one could only see a deep, dense blackness.
