Dragon Country, Emerald City]

[Abandoned Warehouse]

Right as Ethan and the mercenaries were talking, a different scene was unfolding here.

"Hey hey, you guys over there, move the drugs."

"If even one bag gets spilled, I’ll kill all of you! Do you think this stuff is cheap?"

Cursing angrily, a six-foot-five man in a purple suit, green hair, and clown makeup spoke, a sneer on his face.

In his right hand, he held a bronze cane that glowed with fierce light as he pointed it at his underlings.

This person was none other than the leader of the Clown Gang, the main target of Ethan’s attack today.

And with him in this warehouse were one hundred other gang members, all wearing purple suits and similar joker tattoos to Victoria’s on their necks.

"Haha, don’t worry, boss. Nothing is going to spill. Also, those Viper bastards aren’t even here yet, and the delivery time is near."

"Could they have backed out?" asked one of the goons.

Right now they were meant to be having an exchange with the Red Viper Gang, giving them drugs in exchange for more ammunition.

However, not only had time passed, but they were nowhere in sight.

"It’s been thirty minutes. Did those bastards really bail?"

Narrowing his eyes, the Clown King clenched his cane tight.

Who did they think he was? How dare they stand him up?

Did they not realize that he was the sun who shone above Emerald City?

With all kinds of thoughts going through his mind, a tinge of madness began to surge through him.

The corners of his eyes turned somewhat red, and his hands began to vibrate.

"Shit, the boss is about to lose it! Everyone, don’t look at him, or you’ll die."

It was unknown who yelled first, but the other members instantly stared away.

The Clown King.

An unstable individual who had always had an obsession with clowns since he was a child.

Now the leader of a country-wide gang, he was known for his sporadic madness and cruelty.

In times like this when he got upset, it was not uncommon for him to kill one or two of his own men to calm down.

Boom!

Just as tensions in the warehouse were rising, the front door of the warehouse instantly exploded.

"Who is that!"

"Don’t you know this is Clown Gang territory! Do you want to die!"

Yelling at the source of the explosion, the Clown Gang members instantly took out their weapons, pointing them at it.

Even the Clown King, who was about to go crazy, reined himself in as he silently looked at the explosion’s source.

No one could understand what kind of fool would dare break in so recklessly.

Cough cough

"That’s a lot of dust. Don’t you clown guys ever clean up?"

"If I knew it was so dusty, I would have worn a face mask underneath this mask."

Laughing sarcastically, a young man in an all-white suit and a white masquerade mask made his way into the warehouse.

This was none other than Ethan; however, the only difference between now and before was that his all-white suit was currently drenched in blood.

"Hey, I heard there are a bunch of clowns here, so I came to watch the circus."

"Don’t mind me, haha."

He laughed; however, behind that laughter, Ethan’s eyes were scanning every nook and cranny of the building, planning his next move.

"Hey, who the hell are you?"

"And that blood..."

"Did you take out the Red Viper Gang?"

Sensing something was wrong, the Clown King couldn’t help but ask.

Looking at the amount of blood on the person in front of him, it was obviously not one or two people who had died by his hand.

If that was the case, then it meant the Red Viper Gang was indeed done for by the person in front of them.

’But how is that possible? One person shouldn’t be able to take them all out.’

’Even if they weren’t as numerous as us, there should have at least been sixty people. One person shouldn’t be able to take them out.’

’Could other people be hiding?’

Narrowing his eyes, the Clown King began to hesitate. Although he couldn’t understand what was going on, his survival instincts were screaming. His years of being a criminal told him that something was wrong.

If he didn’t escape this place right now, then he would lose his life.

"Hahaha! Although I never expected to die peacefully, isn’t this quite interesting!"

Amidst the shocked faces of his subordinates, the Clown King no longer hesitated!

"Everyone, shoot this bastard! I want you to kill him! Make his body unrecognizable beyond repair!"

Yes, no matter what, the Clown King decided not to back down.

"Oh? Isn’t this interesting? Did he sense something?"

"As expected of someone who would practically rule this city in the apocalypse."

"Unfortunately, it is not enough."

Muttering under his breath, Ethan faced the incoming onslaught with a smile.

"Mercenaries, you guys just watch. I’ll deal with everything."

.......

What happened next was expected. At twenty times the average human in strength and speed, plus his mastery of gun skills, the next fight was almost completely one-sided.

From dodging bullets to launching counterattacks of his own, sometimes killing three people with one bullet, Ethan’s performance left everyone present in shock.

In just a few minutes, he had killed over thirty people.

The whole warehouse had begun to be filled with a strong stench of iron, littered with the bodies of dozens of corpses.

"Haha, hey Clown King, is this the best you’ve got?"

"If that’s it, then you’ll have to say your goodbyes now."

Crack!

Snapping off a gang member’s neck, Ethan faced the Clown King with a smile underneath his mask.

To which, surprisingly, the Clown King, perhaps sensing the futility smiled back.

"Haha, alright, you win."

"Everyone, put down your weapons."

Once again giving an order, the Clown King suddenly sat cross-legged on the floor, his bronze cane resting on his lap.

"Unknown intruder, before you kill us off, why don’t you have a seat?"

"Let’s play a game. I’ll ask you one question, and you ask me one."

"Even if I die today, I have a lot of questions to ask you," he said.

To which Ethan, after a moment of silence, couldn’t help but break into laughter.

"Hahaha, you really are batshit crazy."

"However, I agree. I’m also curious about a lot of things," said Ethan as he kicked away a corpse and sat cross-legged.

At this moment, both enemies faced each other on opposite sides of the warehouse, creating a strange scene.

"Alright then, my first question: did you actually kill the Red Viper Gang?" asked the Clown King, his eyes staring intensely at Ethan.
