Maybe I really am a Villian

Chapter 128: Domain [3]

Chapter 128: Domain [3]

His lightning sword slashed downward.

The vessel immediately raised his massive mana sword to block.

Clang!

The lightning sword and the heavy mana sword collided.

The black fog covering the mana sword immediately weakened the lightning surrounding No. 1’s weapon.

However, the difference in their physical strength was obvious.

Cracks rapidly spread across the vessel’s mana sword before it shattered apart.

The tremendous force behind No. 1’s attack sent the vessel flying toward the ground at the speed of a falling asteroid.

No. 1 had just sent one of Asher’s vessels flying, but five more were already behind him.

All five were in the middle of swinging their massive swords.

Without even turning his body completely, No. 1 moved with the speed of lightning.

His lightning sword instantly met one of the heavy swords.

Clang!

The second vessel was also sent flying by the overwhelming force.

At the same time, countless arcs of lightning burst out from No. 1’s body, striking the remaining four vessels.

No. 1 expected them to retreat to avoid the lightning.

But he was proven wrong.

The four vessels didn’t retreat.

They completely ignored the lightning striking their bodies and continued charging toward him.

Cracks spread across the demonic armor covering them as the lightning continuously battered it.

Yet none of them showed the slightest intention of stopping.

It was as if they didn’t care whether they lived or died.

They continued swinging their massive swords straight at No. 1.

The four massive swords struck No. 1’s body, which was coated in lightning.

They cut through the lightning coating with surprising ease, as if slicing through butter.

Even though it was the protective lightning of a Grandmaster, it offered almost no resistance against the black fog covering the blades.

Once again, No. 1 realized just how strange and dangerous that black fog truly was.

Not wanting to find out what would happen if those swords actually struck his real body, No. 1 instantly moved away.

However, the moment he tried to retreat, five more of Asher’s vessels had already appeared before him.

No. 1 looked at the five incoming vessels and clicked his tongue.

"Tsk."

The next instant, the lightning erupting from his body intensified severalfold.

A violent wave of lightning exploded outward in every direction.

The five vessels were instantly blasted away.

Taking advantage of the opening, No. 1 immediately flew away from the group.

Only after putting some distance between them did he stop.

He looked back at Asher’s vessels.

None of them chased after him.

They simply stood there, their gazes fixed on him without even blinking.

Even the vessel who had been sent crashing toward the ground earlier had already repaired his massive mana sword, and returned to the formation.

He too stood there silently, staring at No. 1 with complete focus.

A curious expression gradually appeared on No. 1’s face.

He looked at the sixty vessels and said,

"Just what kind of organization could produce killers like you?"

"You all possess the same skills..."

"...the same abilities..."

"...and your coordination is flawless."

"Not once have you communicated with each other, yet every movement is perfectly synchronized."

He paused for a moment before looking at the black fog covering their armor and weapons.

"And that black fog..."

"What exactly is it?"

"Is it the power of some artifact..."

"...or is it something your organization created?"

No. 1 looked at Asher’s vessels, waiting for an answer.

However, none of them reacted.

All sixty vessels simply stared at him in complete silence, their entire focus fixed on him.

No. 1 already knew they wouldn’t answer.

He had only asked on the off chance that one of them might reveal something.

As expected, they remained completely silent.

No. 1 also knew they wouldn’t make the first move.

They had already achieved what they wanted.

His long-range lightning attacks were no longer effective.

With their mana armor and that strange black fog, they could withstand his lightning and even deflect it.

If he wanted to kill them, he had to fight them at close range.

And they were waiting for exactly that.

Neither side moved.

For a brief moment, the entire Domain fell silent.

Only the constant rumbling of thunder echoed through the sky.

No. 1 narrowed his eyes.

He couldn’t afford to waste any more time.

Maintaining a Domain consumed an enormous amount of mana.

On top of that, the Church was already investigating the incident.

The longer this battle dragged on, the worse the situation would become.

Without wasting another moment, the lightning surrounding No. 1 suddenly began expanding.

More and more lightning gathered around his body.

Within moments, it took the form of a gigantic dragon.

The lightning dragon was as large as an airplane.

Its enormous body crackled with terrifying power as lightning continuously surged across its scales.

At the very center of the dragon stood No. 1’s physical body.

Without wasting any more mana or time, the massive lightning dragon shot toward Asher’s vessels at the speed of lightning.

The lightning dragon suddenly appeared in front of one of Asher’s vessels.

Before the vessel could switch places with a mana knife, the dragon’s gigantic lightning hand shot forward and grabbed him.

The moment the lightning hand came into contact with the black fog surrounding the vessel, the black fog immediately began erasing the lightning.

The gigantic hand started disappearing wherever the black fog touched it.

No. 1 instantly noticed what was happening.

Without giving the black fog any more time to spread, he immediately tightened his grip.

Crack!

The vessel was crushed inside the dragon’s hand before he could escape.

His body exploded into blood and flesh, killing him instantly.

The black fog surrounding him also disappeared along with his death.

Just like that...

One of Asher’s sixty vessels had been killed.

But the other vessels of Asher were already upon him.

Each of them held a dark mana sphere enveloped in black fog in one hand.

Without wasting a single moment, they attacked the massive lightning dragon from every direction at once, driving the dark mana spheres toward its body.
