Maybe I really am a Villian

Chapter 127: Domain [2]

Chapter 127: Domain [2]

No. 1 slowly raised one of his hands.

The next moment, the dark clouds covering the entire sky began to rumble violently.

Countless bolts of lightning gathered within the clouds.

Then, with a slight wave of his hand, they descended.

Dozens of massive lightning bolts fell from the sky at the same time.

Each one accurately locked onto a different one of Asher’s vessels.

The lightning illuminated the entire Domain as it descended with terrifying speed.

Then No. 1 slowly raised one of his hands.

The dark clouds above immediately began to rumble.

The next moment, countless bolts of lightning descended from the sky, each one targeting a different one of Asher’s vessels.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

The entire Domain was engulfed in deafening explosions.

Every location where Asher’s vessels had been standing was covered in thick clouds of dust and smoke.

No. 1 calmly watched the battlefield.

A few moments later, the dust gradually settled.

What he saw made his expression change for the first time.

All sixty of Asher’s vessels were still standing.

Not a single one of them had fallen.

Each vessel was completely encased inside a three-meter-tall armor made entirely of condensed mana.

The armor was shaped like a demon, with sharp horns, massive arms, and an imposing figure.

More importantly...

The entire armor was covered in the same strange black fog.

The lightning had struck the armor directly, yet it had failed to destroy it.

No. 1 narrowed his eyes as he stared at the black demonic armor surrounding every one of Asher’s vessels.

The smile on No. 1’s face slowly disappeared.

In its place, a look of confusion appeared.

He stared at the black fog covering the demonic armor before muttering,

"That strange black fog... again."

He narrowed his eyes.

"It actually weakened my lightning."

"The moment my lightning came into contact with that black fog, the will I had infused into it was weakened, causing the destructive power of my attack to decrease."

He remained silent for a brief moment before slowly raising his hand once again.

Then he looked at Asher’s vessels and said calmly,

"But it doesn’t matter."

"If it can weaken my attacks..."

"...then I’ll simply make my attacks even stronger."

The next moment, all sixty of Asher’s vessels moved at the same time.

A massive sword, nearly one hundred and fifty centimeters long, condensed in the hands of each vessel.

Every sword was forged entirely from mana.

The strange black fog immediately spread across their blades, covering them completely.

Without giving No. 1 any time to react, each vessel formed another weapon with its free hand.

A sharp knife made entirely of mana appeared in every hand.

The next instant, all sixty knives were thrown toward No. 1 simultaneously.

No. 1 merely glanced at the incoming mana knives before completely ignoring them.

Instead, he raised his hand once again.

This time, even more powerful lightning bolts condensed above the dark clouds.

The next moment, they descended toward Asher’s sixty vessels.

The lightning bolts were just about to strike them.

But before they could land, all sixty of Asher’s vessels vanished from their positions.

The next instant, they appeared at the locations of the mana knives that had been flying toward No. 1 and then stood in air by making a mana solid under their foot.

Seeing this, No. 1 looked at the suddenly appearing vessels and said in an annoyed tone,

"So you can still use that trick."

"But it doesn’t matter."

"Your unpredictability no longer works here."

"I’ll simply destroy your attacks before they can reach me..."

"...then you won’t be able to use them as teleportation points anymore."

Asher didn’t reply.

The next moment, all sixty of his vessels moved at the same time.

Each of them instantly formed another mana knife and threw it toward No. 1.

Seeing this, No. 1 immediately summoned hundreds of small lightning bolts.

They shot toward the incoming mana knives, intending to destroy them before they could reach him.

However, before the lightning bolts could hit their targets, all sixty of Asher’s vessels disappeared from their positions.

The next instant, they appeared at the locations of the flying mana knives.

At almost the same moment, the lightning bolts reached them.

The vessels didn’t dodge.

Instead, they swung the massive mana swords in their hands.

Clang!

Clang!

Clang!

The heavy swords, covered in black fog, collided with the lightning bolts and deflected them away.

Without pausing for even a moment, every vessel created another mana knife and threw it farther toward No. 1.

Then they instantly switched places with those newly thrown knives.

Again and again, they repeated the same sequence.

Throw a mana knife.

Switch places with it.

Deflect the incoming lightning.

Throw another knife.

Switch places again.

With every exchange, they moved closer and closer to No. 1.

After repeating the sequence again and again, all sixty of Asher’s vessels finally reached the same altitude as No. 1.

No. 1 stood in midair, levitating effortlessly as lightning continuously surged around his body.

In contrast, Asher’s vessels stood firmly in the sky by creating solid platforms of condensed mana beneath their feet.

From every direction...

No. 1 was completely surrounded.

Sixty demonic figures, each encased in three-meter-tall black armor and holding massive swords covered in black fog, formed a perfect circle around him.

Dark clouds roared overhead.

Lightning flashed endlessly across the sky.

The only figure standing at the center of the storm was No. 1.

He slowly swept his gaze across the sixty demons surrounding him.

For the first time since activating his Domain, his expression became completely serious.

The battle had finally reached close combat.

No. 1 didn’t say a single word.

His eyes calmly swept across the sixty vessels surrounding him.

The next moment...

He disappeared.

It wasn’t teleportation.

His speed had simply reached such a terrifying level that none of the vessels could follow him with their eyes.

The next instant, he appeared in front of one of the vessels.

His lightning sword slashed downward.

The vessel immediately raised his massive sword to block.
