Chapter 126: Domain [1]
Chapter 126: Domain [1]
The vessel who had been attacked by No. 1 and lost his left arm looked at the empty space where his arm had once been.
Then he muttered in a calm, low voice,
"It’s been a long time since I was last injured."
He then looked at No. 1, who was now watching the other vessels, and continued,
"As expected... I’m still too weak to kill a Grandmaster in a one-on-one fight."
"They really are leagues apart."
From afar, No. 2 suddenly shouted.
He still hadn’t moved from his original position, as if he believed there was no need for him to do anything and that No. 1 alone could kill all of them.
"Hey! Just finish them off."
"I really need some Spatial Masters for my undead legion."
"And don’t forget, you can’t destroy their mana cores."
No. 1 looked at No. 2 with an annoyed expression and replied,
"Shut up, you crazy madman."
"They’re not as weak as you think."
"Instead of standing there yapping, come over here and help me."
However, No. 2 completely ignored him.
Instead, he began examining the corpses of the dead Reaper Guild members, searching for bodies whose mana cores were still intact.
Asher looked at the exchange between No. 1 and No. 2 and thought,
’Good.’
’They’re underestimating me.’
’That’ll make it much easier to kill them.’
Meanwhile, the vessel that had lost his arm calmly activated healing magic.
Within a single second, his missing arm had completely regenerated.
No. 1 looked at the regenerated arm and clicked his tongue.
"What a pain."
"Spatial magic... and healing magic."
Then he looked at the other ninety-nine vessels, all of whom could freely transform their bodies into space.
His expression became even more annoyed.
"Especially that ability to turn their bodies into space."
He then shouted toward No. 2.
"Hey!"
"All of them most likely know healing magic as well."
"So forget about turning them into undead."
"And get over here to help me kill them."
"They’re like cockroaches."
"You take care of forty."
"I’ll handle the other sixty."
"Use your Domain from the start."
"Let’s finish this quickly."
No. 2 finally lifted his head from the corpses.
He looked at No. 1 before shifting his gaze toward Asher’s hundred vessels.
Then he muttered in an annoyed tone,
"What a pain."
The next moment, both Grandmasters released their Domains.
A terrifying pressure instantly descended upon the entire headquarters.
Invisible waves spread outward from their bodies at an incredible speed.
Everywhere the waves passed, the surrounding mana became restless.
The air itself seemed to grow heavier.
Asher’s vessels immediately sensed an invisible boundary rapidly expanding toward them.
It was the manifestation of a Grandmaster’s Domain.
However, none of Asher’s vessels tried to escape.
Instead, all one hundred of them remained where they were.
They silently watched the invisible boundary approach, patiently waiting for the Domains to completely engulf them.
A moment later, sixty of Asher’s vessels suddenly found themselves in a completely different place.
The surroundings they had been standing in were gone.
Instead, they found themselves inside a different world.
It was an endless open field.
Above them, the sky was covered with dark clouds.
Countless bolts of lightning continuously flashed across the sky.
Every few moments, a massive bolt of lightning would descend from the clouds and strike the ground with a deafening roar.
The entire world seemed to be made of nothing but storms and lightning.
The air was filled with violent lightning mana.
Every breath they took felt heavy, as if the Domain itself was rejecting their existence.
This was No. 1’s Domain.
A world where lightning ruled everything.
The sixty vessels quickly looked around.
This world was far larger than the entire headquarters.
There was no sign of its boundaries.
It stretched endlessly in every direction.
Asher looked around before muttering to himself,
"So that’s how a Grandmaster’s Domain works..."
"It’s much larger on the inside than it appears from the outside."
He had heard about Domains before, but this was his first time experiencing one personally.
Just then, a voice echoed throughout the entire world.
"Welcome..."
"...to my Domain."
Asher looked up.
High above the storm-covered sky stood No. 1.
He was standing in midair as if the world itself was supporting him.
His entire body was enveloped in golden lightning.
Countless bolts of lightning danced around him, making him look like the ruler of this world.
Within this Domain, his already terrifying presence became even more overwhelming.
Asher immediately tried to teleport.
Nothing happened.
He then tried to transform his body into space.
Once again, nothing happened.
His expression remained calm, but he instantly understood the situation.
Inside this Domain, the surrounding space was not like outside world that was free.
In domain it belonged to NO 1,so he can’t teleport here.
Not only that, Asher also realized that he couldn’t absorb the surrounding mana to recover his own.
Every trace of mana inside the Domain was filled with No. 1’s Grandmaster-level will.
Unless he first refined that mana and erased No. 1’s will from it, he wouldn’t be able to use it for himself.
High above the sky, No. 1 looked down at Asher and said calmly,
"Stop trying."
"You won’t be able to use Spatial Magic inside someone else’s Domain..."
"...unless you’re also a Grandmaster Spatial Mage."
He paused for a moment before a faint smile appeared on his face.
"So your efforts are pointless."
"Inside my Domain..."
"...everything is under my control."
"Now, let’s see how long you can survive."
Asher silently listened to No. 1.
By now, he had already learned everything he needed to know about the Domain.
Without wasting another moment, all sixty of his vessels immediately scattered in different directions.
In just a few seconds, they had surrounded No. 1 in a perfect circle.
No. 1 watched them spread out but made no move to stop them.
Instead, a faint smile appeared on his face.
"So..."
"You’ve finally given up trying to escape."
No. 1 slowly raised one of his hands.
The next moment, the dark clouds covering the entire sky began to rumble violently.
