Then Blood Saint looked at Ravena, and her face twisted into a beautiful yet creepy smile. She said, her tone filled with ecstasy, "I wonder how his blood would taste when he reaches a higher rank."

’Yeah, what else did I even expect from a crazy demon like her? Instead of worrying about anything, there she is, imagining how a higher-rank being’s blood would taste like. For fuck’s sake, is this the only thing you can think about?’

Ravena thought this inwardly while looking at Blood Saint, who was in her own world of imagination, thinking about something with a creepy yet beautiful smile on her face.

Ravena didn’t dare show any change in her expression. She kept her face completely calm while thinking, ’Is everyone at a higher rank crazy, or is it just the ones that are near me?’

Ravena then finally spoke, her tone nervous and trembling. "S-So, what are you going to do about it?"

Only after Ravena said this did Blood Saint finally come out of her thoughts. She looked at Ravena and then said with a smile on her face, her tone completely calm, "Nothing."

"Nothing?"

"Yeah, there is nothing to worry about. If he can actually do everything that he stated, then there is no reason to deny his offer. And didn’t he say that he would come to meet us soon? So, for now, let’s just wait."

Blood Saint said this and then started drinking her blood tea with a calm expression on her face, without a single worry about what Ravena had just told her. Ravena didn’t know if it was confidence in one’s strength or if Blood Saint was simply ignorant of what Asher could actually do.

But Ravena didn’t question her.

After that, Blood Saint asked her some more questions about Asher, wanting to know more about him and the things he had done. Ravena answered everything she could and tried not to leave out any important details. Once Blood Saint was satisfied with her answers, she finally allowed Ravena to leave.

And then the space around Ravena changed once again, and the next moment, she found herself back where she had been moments ago.

After returning to the real world, Ravena stayed still for a moment as she thought about everything that had just happened. Her mind was still filled with everything Blood Saint had said, especially her reaction toward Asher and the strange mark she had found on Ravena.

After a few moments, Ravena’s gaze suddenly turned sharp as she came out of her thoughts. She looked toward the Dark Castle and then started moving toward it.

It was finally time to rest for some time after being trapped for a decade and spending a few days with Asher. She had been through too much in such a short period of time, and all she wanted at that moment was to get some proper rest without having to deal with another unexpected situation.

But when she reached the entrance of the Dark Castle, she found the five Immortals from before standing there, as if they had been waiting for her.

Ravena looked at the five of them and then said, her tone sharp, "What are you doing? Are you still trying to question me, even after I have already talked with Blood Saint? So now move away and let me rest. I am not going to answer any of your questions."

None of the five said anything for a moment, and then it was Ciaran who finally spoke, his tone firm. "I challenge you to a duel."

Ravena looked at Ciaran. ’Sighhh... Of course. How could I forget about this? There is no way my problems will end this quickly.’

She then paused and looked at Ciaran again. ’This guy wants to challenge me as soon as I return, not even wanting to give me a chance to rest.’

Ravena looked straight at Ciaran and then said, her voice confident but tired, "Yeah, let’s finish this soon. I need to rest after this, so let’s finish it quickly."

And then she paused before continuing, her tone becoming serious. "Of course, you do know what is at stake if you lose."

Ciaran looked at Ravena after hearing her words and then scoffed. "I remember it clearly. I should be the one asking you this instead. Be ready to lose and live as my slave after this match."

Ravena just ignored Ciaran’s mumbling and then looked at the Elders standing there. "You will be the witnesses of this duel."

The Elders nodded.

There was no need for anyone to say anything else. Both Ravena and Ciaran already knew what was at stake, and neither of them showed any intention of backing down. The atmosphere around them became slightly tense as the others prepared themselves to watch the upcoming battle.

And without any delay, Ravena activated her Domain.

Before anyone could even understand what was happening, Ciaran and Ravena disappeared from their sight, completely vanishing from the entrance of the Dark Castle.

Only the five Elders were left standing there.

For a moment, none of them said anything. They simply looked toward the place where Ravena and Ciaran had disappeared, waiting to see how the duel would unfold.

And then one of them finally said, "Ravena is still as talented as she was before. Who do you think will win in this duel?"

The other Elders looked at one another, each of them thinking about the two Vampires who had just entered the battle.

After all, both of them were Immortals now, and neither one of them could be underestimated.

And then, just after one hour, there was a sudden distortion in space, and the area in front of the Dark Castle began to tremble slightly.

A moment later, Ravena and Ciaran returned from the Domain.

The five Elders immediately turned toward the two of them. Ravena stood there calmly, looking almost exactly the same as she had before the battle. There was no visible sign of exhaustion on her face, and her expression remained as calm as ever.
