Ciaran then started moving closer to Ravena, but before he could reach her, all the blood in his body suddenly froze. He couldn’t even move a single finger; his entire body became completely still. His expression turned blank with fear, and his gaze moved toward Ravena and the others, but they were in the same state as him, their bodies not moving a single bit, their expressions blank with fear.

And then a voice resounded in all of their heads.

’Stop arguing at this instant.’

All of them knew whom this voice belonged to; all of them immediately agreed mentally without any hesitation. None of them dared to question the command or even think about resisting it. The moment they heard that voice, every bit of anger and suspicion they had disappeared, replaced by fear and absolute obedience.

And then all of them were able to move their bodies again.

As soon as they regained control of their bodies, none of them said anything. Ciaran looked at Ravena; he was still burning with anger, but he didn’t dare to say anything. His fists were tightly clenched, but he remained completely silent, knowing very well that speaking against the voice they had just heard would be a foolish thing to do.

And then the voice resounded again in their minds.

"Everyone leave except Ravena."

As soon as they heard this, all five left without any hesitation or questions. No one dared to ask why Ravena had been ordered to stay behind, nor did anyone dare to disobey. Before going back to the castle, Ciaran threw one last glance at Ravena.

Ravena’s expression was full of panic and fear.

When Ciaran saw Ravena’s expression, his anger diminished slightly.

’I hope you die by the hands of Blood Saint.’

With that final thought, Ciaran turned around and left with the others.

After all five of them left, Ravena suddenly felt the space around her change. The surrounding atmosphere became strange, and before she could even understand what was happening, the space around her distorted.

The next moment, she found herself in a completely different place.

It was a familiar place where she had been many times before.

It was the domain of the Blood Saint.

It was still the same as Ravena remembered it from her memories, a small world of its own, with a garden full of beautiful crimson flowers growing as far as the eye could see. The entire place was filled with crimson flowers, creating a beautiful scenery that was also strangely scary.

The flowers moved slightly with the gentle wind, and their crimson colour made the entire world seem as if it had been painted with blood. Even after being away for a decade, Ravena could still recognise this place instantly.

And in the middle of all these crimson flowers stood Ravena.

In front of her sat a woman on a chair, with a table in front of her. She had long crimson hair, crimson eyes, and pale skin. Her appearance was beautiful, but there was an overwhelming presence around her that made the entire space feel heavy.

It was the Blood Saint herself.

Blood Saint looked at Ravena with a curious gaze. She didn’t say anything, but after looking at her for a moment, she raised her hand and gave Ravena a sign to sit across from her at the table.

Ravena swallowed nervously before slowly moving toward the chair and sitting on it. Even after reaching the Immortal rank, she still couldn’t help but feel fear in front of the woman sitting before her.

And then Blood Saint summoned two cups from thin air. She moved one in front of herself and one in front of Ravena, and then filled both cups with blood.

Blood Saint then took a sip from her cup, while Ravena just sat there without even moving a single finger. She remained completely still, her body tense as she waited for Blood Saint to speak again.

After taking a sip, Blood Saint looked at Ravena and then said, her expression curious, "I never thought you would be able to escape."

Ravena looked at Blood Saint, surprised, and asked, "You knew that I am alive?"

Blood Saint just smiled at Ravena’s question and then said, "Of course I knew, my child. Did you forget that the blood flowing through you is a part of me? You have grown up consuming my blood essence."

And then she paused for a moment before asking, "So, child, tell me, how were you able to escape from there? Don’t miss a single part; tell me everything from the start."

Ravena looked at Blood Saint and thought, ’Of course she knew.’

She then started telling everything from the beginning, including what Asher had told her to say. She explained everything that had happened, from the moment she was given the chance to escape until the moment she finally arrived back in the Central Region.

Blood Saint listened to everything without saying a single word. She simply sat there, calmly drinking from her cup while listening to every detail Ravena told her. Her expression remained calm and unreadable throughout the entire explanation.

After Ravena finished telling her everything about how she escaped and arrived here, Blood Saint remained silent for a moment.

Blood Saint just smiled and then said, "A higher-rank being. That’s interesting."

Ravena looked at Blood Saint and then asked in a trembling tone, "Y-You believe me?"

Blood Saint smiled and then said, "Of course I do. You might not have noticed this, but you had a mark on your body. I summoned you here and destroyed that mark. Someone has been observing you ever since you arrived here; it must be that man you are talking about."

Ravena’s expression changed slightly after hearing those words. She hadn’t even noticed that someone had been observing her, and the thought that Asher might have left something on her without her knowledge made her feel uneasy.

Then Blood Saint looked at Ravena, and her face twisted into a beautiful yet creepy smile. She said, her tone filled with ecstasy, "I wonder how his blood would taste when he reaches a higher rank."
