Maybe I really am a Villian

Chapter 290: Revenge

  • Next Chapter

Demon Continent.

Dark Castle.

Ravena was sitting in her room, and after reading everything, she was now fully knowledgeable about what had happened during the last decade on both the Demon Continent and the Human Continent.

And then she called a servant.

The servant appeared as quickly as he could. He immediately bowed down and then asked, "What would you like me to do, Master?"

Ravena looked at the servant and couldn’t help but find it weird to be treated like this after spending so long being treated as nothing more than a lab rat.

But somehow, she didn’t feel angry, sad, or anything else when she thought about the past.

And now Ravena was sure that Asher had really done something to her. She still had doubts last night, even after Blood Saint said that there was nothing wrong with her, but now she was sure about it.

The problem was that she didn’t know whether it was a good thing or a bad thing.

She had no idea and no way of knowing unless she asked him herself.

But there was no way to meet that him unless he showed himself.

So Ravena didn’t think much about that for now.

And then she looked at the servant and ordered,"Tell someone to take that bat out of prison and bring him here in front of me."

When the servant heard this, his expression turned to confusion, but Ravena didn’t notice the confusion on servant face.

Then after some moment servant asked in a trembling voice, "M-Master, what do you mean by Bat?"

Only then did Ravena notice the confusion on the servant’s face and understood the problem.

She then immediately replied to erase the servant confusion, "Get Ciaran here from the prison."

Only after Ravena said this did the servant understand what she meant.

And then he quickly bowed and left the room.

"I really got a bad habit of calling weak vampires bat from that coward. Staying with him is bad for my mental health and common sense."

After some time, Ciaran was brought inside the room by the two Immortal-rank guards who had been with him yesterday.

However, while they had been guarding him yesterday, they were now with Ravena and were acting as Ravena guards instead.

Ciaran’s body was now fully healed, but his spirit was still heavily injured.

He was still weak and in critical condition. One night’s rest wasn’t even close to being enough for his spirit to heal itself. He would at least need two weeks for his spirit to fully recover.

After entering the room and finding Ravena sitting inside, Ciaran immediately started releasing his killing intent, as if he wanted to kill her right there.

And he did want to.

However, he still didn’t dare to do anything while the two Immortal-rank guards were standing behind him ready to attack if he does something, so making sure that he didn’t do anything funny.

Ciaran was also smart enough not to try anything in their presence.

Ravena then shifted her gaze from Ciaran to the two Elders standing behind him and said in a firm and serious tone, "Leave now."

The two Elders looked at each other for a moment and then simply left the room, leaving Ciaran and Ravena alone inside.

After only Ciaran and Ravena were left in the room, Ciaran looked at Ravena with a murderous gaze.

However, he still didn’t dare to attack.

He knew it would be futile. There was no way he would be able to do anything to her, especially in his current condition. His spirit was still heavily injured, and Ravena had already defeated him once.

Ravena looked at Ciaran for a moment and then chuckled.

"At least you have gotten smart now, I guess. The sacrifice of an Immortal-rank expert didn’t go to waste, as you have also reached the Immortal rank."

Ciaran simply stayed silent and didn’t say anything.

Ravena looked at him for a moment, waiting for a response, but Ciaran remained completely silent.

She then continued, "You really collected a good amount of information about whatever is happening on the Human Continent. You even managed to get information from inside the Academy about the son of that Witch. It seems you really hate her, considering how much interest you are showing in her son."

Ciaran still didn’t say anything and continued to remain silent.

Ravena didn’t seem bothered by his silence.

Instead, she continued asking her questions.

"So, will you now tell me how many spies you have inside the Aetherium Academy right now?"

Ciaran looked directly at Ravena and finally replied, "Two humans. Nothing more than that."

Ravena made a surprised expression when she heard his answer.

"How did you do that? No demon can even enter that place with that Saint being there. The families of everyone who works there are also protected by him. So how did you even get them under your control? Did you give them some benefits or something?"

Ciaran then replied in a calm voice, "I simply took their families hostage before they even entered the Academy. Nothing else."

Ravena didn’t expect that answer and was genuinely surprised by it.

"That was very smart of you."

Ciaran remained silent.

Ravena looked at him for another moment before a slightly amused expression appeared on her face.

And then she asked, her tone amused, "So, when are you planning to kill that spawn of that Witch?"

Ciaran was surprised by the question.

He looked at Ravena for a moment before asking, "Why are you interested in that?"

Ravena looked at Ciaran and then said, "Why wouldn’t I be? I just want to see that Edward in pain, and nothing more. And now that the only thing he still treasures is that kid, of course I would want to kill him."

Ciaran heard this and immediately understood what she meant.

"It will be soon," he said. "As soon as we get a chance to kill him."
