Gao Yang sat seriously on the sofa and loudly said, "Get yourself a drink; now let’s talk business."

Lucica went to the fridge to get a coke and said loudly, "Drinking coke isn’t good."

Sitting next to Gao Yang, taking a sip of the coke casually, Lucica sighed and said, "The diamond mine is running well; Morgan’s people are handling shipping, so I can’t get involved. I don’t know if the selling prices are reasonable and accurate."

Gao Yang waved his hand and said, "I’m responsible for the mine’s security and recruiting people to mine diamonds. As for the shipping, Morgan is in charge, and I trust Morgan very much, so you don’t need to worry about that part."

Lucica breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Before I went there, Radar was in charge of everything at the mine. He was like a king there, having even nine wives."

Gao Yang said with interest, "Tell me more."

Gao Yang interlocked his fingers and pondered for a while, then said, "Smart people are easier to deal with because they don’t tend to do stupid things easily. Alright, get into specifics."

Lucica said solemnly, "The diamond mine now has about two hundred workers, both genders, but there are over two hundred and fifty guards, mostly African. Bantuna’s methods are tough and ruthless; he’ll kill immediately anyone trying to steal diamonds or leave!"

Gao Yang frowned and said, "Blood diamond? Uh, does this make me a hypocrite? But I really don’t like this; I love money, but I still have my limits."

Lucica shook her head and said, "You don’t understand the situation there. Without tough and bloody methods, your workers and guards would vanish overnight with the diamonds they found. Oh, besides the people you saved, Radar still has his limits; he only kills those who commit capital crimes. He’s not a bloody executioner."

Gao Yang laughed and said, "That’s reassuring, go on."

Lucica said seriously, "Radar is familiar with everything there, controlling the mine effectively, preventing discovery, and ensuring no one sneaks away. When I arrived, I felt Radar’s power was too great, so I started measures to reclaim power. I grew up in the jungles of Colombia; I know the jungle rules and can handle things."

"But when I took measures, Radar approached me; he said he fought alongside you and knows your strength, so he wouldn’t be foolish enough to betray you. If you want to replace him, he’d hand over his position without hesitation. If I want to do anything, I should directly discuss it with him, and he’d make me satisfied since he knows I represent you."

Gao Yang laughed and said, "Is that all?"

Lucica smiled and said, "Yes, those were his words, but his actions did prove it. Radar is indeed a smart person; he understands the consequences of betrayal and wouldn’t challenge your authority. Morgan-style people at the mine are very satisfied with Radar’s approach and attitude, which is why no discontent has ever been voiced."

Gao Yang said sincerely, "That’s great. How is the current situation?"

Lucica smiled and said, "I’ve reclaimed most of Radar’s power, especially any movement of guards required my orders, but I appointed Radar as my deputy. I give orders and he executes them, stressing your authority. Still, before I issue orders, I seriously consider Radar’s opinions. Gao Yang breathed a sigh and looked at Lucica, saying, "How’s Little Donnie faring over there? I’m a bit worried about him."
