Chapter 124: Watching Lily, The Night before…again

[3rd POV]

With the meeting with the Kardashian-Jenner's coming up, Billie knew that she needed to finish up some of the materials she had gotten ready. Mostly just some papers that explained things that could not really be explained through talking. Like music notes and what they look like and stuff like that.

Nothing particularly difficult to understand or anything, just some simple stuff.

Billie had also been making the homework, which she wasn't sure if they would actually accept doing it, but she had it made either way just in case they were willing to do it. And the paperwork itself was fun and easy to do, and would actually help teach them quite a bit about a few music related techniques and things of that regard.

The visit to the Kardashian-Jenners was tomorrow, and at the moment Billie was in a rather interesting situation. Alongside Haley, they had been asked to watch Lily for Cam and Mitchell, as they had wanted a date night.

Neither of them had been on a date in quite some time, and had been hoping to get a full day out. Which Billie didn't mind, even if Haley had warned her that Lily could be...a lot to deal with at times. At the same time, she had to warn the two of them that they had something to do the next day, so she couldn't help watch Lily overnight or until too late into the night.

They had accepted that without fuss, thankfully.

She didn't explain what she was doing, only that she was going to be busy, same with Haley. She had also explained that she needed to be awake and not tired for it, since it was somewhat serious.

Mostly because Kris and the rest of the older members of the family could be a giant pain in the ass if they decided they didn't like her, and started to talk shit. As at this time, they were HUGE and were very very well known.

Of course they were not at their "Peak" just yet, as that was when Kylie was in her "King Kylie" era or whatever the hell it was called. And when Kim was with Kanye. But that was in a couple of years or a bit later than that.

Not anything Billie needed to worry about. As she was working with the Kardashian-Jenners that had not become truly arrogant like they had in the coming years. Sure, they were still pretty...over the top, kind of moronic, and definitely not the smartest, but they were nearly as bad as they would have been in the future.

Hell, Billie had noticed that some of their personalities were actually different in this world, and were quite a bit more likeable than her past life. That was primarily the case for Kim, Courtney, and Kendall.

Courtney in particular was way more likeable in this world, primarily because her relationship with Scott Disick was not nearly as toxic as it was in her past life. They had what was genuinely a pretty healthy relationship.

Which was definitely way different than what she knew. As from what she remembered the two of them had broken up and gotten back together like ten different times in her past life, and had only really kept getting back together because they kept having kids with each other.

That stopped eventually of course. But that was partially because Scott started to struggle with...well, a lot. Mostly because of the passing of his parents and all of that.

All in all, Billie found that this version of the Kardashian-Jenner family was not nearly as toxic as in her past life, and some of them were borderline likeable. Mostly Kylie and Kendall though.

Kris still seemed like a super controlling person. Bruce was still decent though, or Catelyn as they would be known as in the future after transitioning. He was honestly one of the most reasonable people in the family, at least, more than his current wife.

But they would eventually split once he transitioned.

Either way, the Kardashian-Jenner family had a shit ton of drama around them, just as much irritating baggage, and a ton of problematic things that could be a serious problem. Which is why she wanted to make sure they controlled themselves and didn't try to start any bullshit internet drama with her.

She just couldn't be bothered to deal with it, should they attempt to start it. She also just had to hope that they would not start anything in the first place.

If anyone did, it would be Kris.

Bruce would probably actively try to stop her should she try, same with Kendall, Kylie, and most likely a majority of her family. As long as she didn't do anything to make them mad at least.

Which she didn't think she was.

Although she was not a big fan of the man that the Kardashian's biological father had defended, she also knew that they did not agree with that part, and were pretty open about that. All of them openly stated that they believed he did it, and it was part of a reason why Kris and her ex-husband had been at odds so much before his passing.

Sitting in the home of Cam and Mitchell, Billie was watching in amusement as Lily and Haley played. Mostly by Lily braiding Haley's hair, and Haley doing it in return. This was of course after Haley had taught Lily how to do it in the first place. She did not want her hair destroyed or made super messy because Lily didn't know.

That and it was best to teach her now so that she did know for the future. Braiding could be very useful. She was like...two or three, so it was still pretty messy, but it wasn't completely awful surprisingly enough. The girl quite liked it.

'They should be getting back in a few hours' Billie thought, glancing at the time absentmindedly. They had both said they would be back at around 9 at night, giving them time to get back and get a good amount of sleep that would not make the next day miserable from lack of sleep.

That and it would also keep Lily's sleeping schedule somewhat consistent. Which was kind of necessary at her age.

Nobody wanted a toddler with a messed up sleeping schedule.

"You excited for tomorrow, Haley?" Billie asked, as Haley looked over at her and just shrugged.

"Kind of neutral to it to be honest. I mean like sure, it's cool to meet them. But it's really not that big of a deal" Haley responded, not really caring too much. She just thought it was kind of neat since she actually watched their show. She knew that Gloria did too.

"Yeah that's fair" Billie said simply, as she nodded to her girlfriends words, finding them to be reasonable and agreeing.

With that conversation soon whittling off, the two began to talk about other things while watching Lily. All the while, Billie had only one thought on her mind.

'I really hope tomorrow goes well'
