Chapter 205: Chapter 205: ’Green Tea’ Christian

In the private room.

Hearing the exorbitant amount, Serena Foster’s heart bled for her wallet. She immediately wanted to throw a tantrum. But before she could even open her mouth, the spoiled brats and their parents erupted in uproar at the mention of the watches being taken back.

"Absolutely not! You’ve already given them to us. You can’t just take a gift back!"

"WAAAH! Mom, I want the watch!" one of the brats wailed, his cries deafening.

The boy’s mother immediately chimed in, "Mrs. Lowell, since you’re so wealthy, why don’t you just buy the watches for us? Problem solved."

Serena silently cursed Rose Lowell to hell and back. Noelle Lockwood had clearly been blacklisted by Dewdrop Garden, yet Rose had the nerve to act like a big shot, causing them all to suffer this massive humiliation!

Worried she couldn’t even afford the half-million bill for the meal, her face twisted in rage at the suggestion that she buy the watches too. Glaring at the manager, she snapped, "The watches aren’t for me! Make them pay for it themselves!"

The manager let out a light chuckle and turned to the crowd. "These watches are high-tech custom models. The insider price is one hundred and five thousand each. As a special favor, I can drop the odd numbers and make it an even one hundred thousand."

The parents instantly panicked. "Serena Foster! Timothy Lowell! How could you do this to us? It’s so expensive—we’re not buying them!"

"Exactly! You said you were treating us! You claimed Dewdrop Garden belonged to your family, which is the only reason we accepted the watches. Now you want us to pay? Do you take us for suckers?"

"And to think I actually praised you earlier. What a stroke of bad luck!"

The manager spoke coldly, "That is perfectly fine. The bills will be sent to your phones. If payment is not received within three days, this establishment will contact the police. Now, please leave!"

The group was herded out the door. The brats’ ear-splitting wails drew the attention of quite a few onlookers.

Timothy and Serena felt utterly humiliated, but they didn’t dare actually offend Dewdrop Garden. Just as they were about to storm off in exasperation, they heard a soft chuckle. The couple turned around and saw a woman standing next to Christian Sloan.

Estelle Lockwood raised an eyebrow. "Kicked out already? That was even faster than I thought."

Serena and Timothy glared at her. Estelle was sitting on a sofa in the VIP lounge with her legs crossed, holding a magazine, casually enjoying the spectacle of their disgrace.

Serena’s mind exploded with fury. Without a second thought, she charged forward, directing all her raging anger at Estelle.

"You little jinx! I’ll tear your mouth right off your face!"

As the word "jinx" left her lips, a sudden realization hit her. She pointed an accusatory finger at Estelle and shrieked, "I know what happened! It was definitely you! You and your son offended Dewdrop Garden, so they blacklisted Noelle and our Lowell family! It’s all your fault!"

Timothy glared at her as well, his expression dark and sinister. "I knew Rose was right. You really are a jinx!"

Having lost so much face today and having blown over half a million for nothing, the couple was consumed by rage. They lunged viciously at Estelle, only to be intercepted by two bodyguards.

Estelle remained comfortably seated in the lounge area. She watched the couple’s contorted, ferocious expressions with complete composure, slightly arching an eyebrow.

"AAAH!" The more Serena thought about it, the more she lost her mind. With a burst of hysterical strength, she actually managed to push past the bodyguards. In two strides, she was right in front of Estelle, raising her hand to deliver a vicious slap—

Estelle calmly dodged.

CRASH! A nearby vase shattered to pieces.

Panic immediately washed over Serena’s face, and she stumbled backward. "Estelle, why did you dodge?! You all saw it! The vase only broke because she moved out of the way! It has nothing to do with me...

"You’re done for, Estelle! Not only did you offend Dewdrop Garden, but you also destroyed their vase! You are dead meat!"

Estelle clicked her tongue. Serena and Suzi Lowell were truly mother and daughter; even their deranged logic was exactly the same. Suzi had been brainwashed by Noelle to the point of outright stupidity, and Serena and Timothy weren’t far behind.

"Miss Lockwood, Young Master, are you alright?!"

Right at that moment, the manager came sprinting over. He roughly shoved Serena aside, sending her tumbling to the floor with a yelp. The manager sneered.

"The Lockwood family and the Lowell family being blacklisted has absolutely nothing to do with Miss Estelle!

"Dewdrop Garden is Mr. Sloan’s property. Miss Estelle is Mrs. Sloan, and the young masters and young miss are Mr. Sloan’s children. As for who offended Dewdrop Garden, do I really need to name and shame Rose Lowell and Noelle Lockwood in front of everyone?!"

"You—"

The manager sneered, "You fawn over the people on Dewdrop Garden’s blacklist, yet you drove out our true young master. And you actually expected Dewdrop Garden to treat you well?"

With that, the manager turned back and smiled at Estelle. "Mrs. Sloan, if you would like to dine, a private room is ready for you at any time."

As his words fell, everyone was stunned.

Wait, had they gotten it all wrong? The so-called VIP wasn’t Noelle, it was Estelle!

Timothy and Serena were utterly shell-shocked, shaking their heads frantically. "N-No way... Rose clearly said that Estelle was a jinx, and Noelle was the Lucky Star blessed by heaven... How could this be..."

Estelle met Christian’s eyes and instantly understood. This little guy had arranged all of this! How could Christian be so incredibly clever and adorable?!

Christian tugged at Estelle’s sleeve. "Mommy, let’s go eat."

At that, he glanced back at the crowd and let out an exaggerated, theatrical sigh.

"Actually, I didn’t want my classmates to make a wasted trip. I originally wanted to treat everyone, but you all insisted on chasing me away...

"Mommy, forget it. I’m not a sucker anyway. Mr. Manager, please make sure to hand the bills over to them."

The manager nodded. "Rest assured, Young Master. No one has ever dared to dine and dash in Mr. Sloan’s establishment." He placed heavy emphasis on the words "Mr. Sloan."

The spoiled brats and their parents were gripped by a mixture of panic and fury. They had only sucked up to Timothy and Serena because they hadn’t known Christian’s true identity. Now that the manager had pointed it out, who else in all of Crestfall could command the title of "Mr. Sloan" other than *that* man?

They had offended Mr. Sloan’s son!

"Timothy Lowell, Serena Foster, this is all your fault! If it weren’t for you, we never would have chased Young Mr. Christian away!"

"You deliberately kept the young master’s identity from us! You did this on purpose, didn’t you?!"

"What jinx? What Lucky Star? If you ask me, Noelle Lockwood is the real jinx! If she’s a fake heiress, she should know her place instead of dragging us down with her!"

The manager waved his hand, signaling the bodyguards to throw Serena and Timothy out. But Estelle suddenly let out a soft chuckle. "Timothy Lowell."

Timothy hadn’t said much up to this point, letting his wife do all the dirty work of throwing a tantrum. But looking closely now, his entire face was dark, contorted, and terrifyingly cold—as if he were on the verge of committing murder. The sight was so chilling that even the manager swallowed hard.

Estelle, however, wasn’t the least bit afraid. Meeting the gaze of her nominal uncle, she propped her chin on her hand and smiled.

"You and Rose Lowell are full siblings, aren’t you?"

Timothy’s glaring eyes were chillingly sinister. "Why are you asking?"

"Oh, nothing..." Estelle brushed a strand of hair back. "I was just wondering about a certain question."
