"Why does it feel so hot? Is there no AC in this elevator?" Elmer Grant asked in confusion.

"Yeah, I feel it too. It got really hot after we left the elevator. Come on, let’s hurry. The little girl has cried her voice hoarse. Her daddy and mommy must be so worried."

Dylan Grant nodded vigorously. "Okay, let’s hurry and find the lady at the front desk. We’ll ask her to help find the little girl’s parents."

After they spoke, the three children sped up and rushed to the front desk.

"Ma’am!"

A young employee at the front desk asked kindly, "What is it, little ones?"

Elmer Grant pointed to the little girl still crying in Dorothy Ellsworth’s arms. "Ma’am, there’s a little girl here who can’t find her mom. Can you help her find her mom?"

The front desk attendant looked at Dorothy Ellsworth. "Little one, what’s your name? How did you get separated from your mom? Do you know your mom’s name?"

Dorothy Ellsworth spoke up. "Ma’am, it’s not me who’s looking for my mom. It’s her."

She pointed to the little girl in her arms.

The front desk employee froze for a moment, then smiled. "Little one, dolls don’t have mothers. This is a handmade cloth doll."

The employee’s words left the three children dumbfounded.

They all looked at the little girl in Dorothy’s arms again and said in unison, "Ma’am, this isn’t a cloth doll. We know what dolls look like. This is a real person, a little girl! How could you mistake her for a doll?"

The front desk attendant’s smile vanished. She turned and called a few of her colleagues over. They all looked and agreed it was just a cloth doll, nothing more.

"Little ones, the adults here wouldn’t lie to you. What the young lady is holding is clearly a cloth doll in a little pink dress."

Just then, a colleague suddenly whispered a few words, and everyone’s expression changed drastically.

"Young lady, throw that doll on the ground. Quickly!"

Dorothy Ellsworth looked down at the little girl, who was crying so hard she could barely breathe. She didn’t dare to throw her, so she just set her down on the floor to stand.

"Ma’am, look how sad she is. Please just help her find her parents. They must be very worried. When I used to run off, my mommy would always worry about me too."

The staff didn’t know what to say. One employee ran over and whispered something in Dylan Grant’s ear. Dylan nodded several times, then used the employee’s phone to call Quentin Grant.

They didn’t say what was wrong over the phone, so Quentin Grant came alone while Nora Ainsworth waited for them in the room.

Arriving on the first floor, Quentin Grant walked over and said directly, "Kids, Daddy’s here."

When the front desk staff saw it was Quentin Grant, their faces all showed unease. They secretly recounted what had just happened to him.

Quentin Grant’s gaze then fixed on the cloth doll on the floor.

He stared at it sharply, then asked, "Dylan, you tell me. What is this?"

Dylan was a little wary. "Daddy, what I see is a little girl, about one year old, in a little pink dress. She’s been crying the whole time."

Quentin Grant understood instantly. He swept Dorothy Ellsworth into his arms and ordered the staff in a cold voice, "Burn this doll for me!"

Then he turned to his own two children and said, "Come upstairs with Daddy."

Although the staff were terrified, no one dared to disobey. They immediately did as he said.

When Quentin Grant got upstairs, he told Nora Ainsworth what had happened below. Nora immediately called Ethan Ellsworth and Chloe Marshall over. After hearing the story, they all broke out in a cold sweat.

"Aunt, Uncle, Mommy, Daddy, what’s wrong with all of you?"

Naturally, none of the adults would tell them. But Dylan Grant had always been mature for his age, and he seemed to have already sensed that something was very wrong.

After some discussion, Quentin Grant decided to arrange a private jet to return to Fravia immediately.

Although no one understood what was happening, they all did as Quentin Grant said, packing their luggage and boarding the plane.

On the plane, everyone was very confused. However, Quentin Grant decided to tell them what happened. After all, the only people on board were from the Hawthorne, Ellsworth, and Grant families, along with the Ainsworth family from Valeria. There were no outsiders.

After hearing Quentin Grant’s words, everyone was stunned.

"I was just saying at dinner tonight, this place is really creepy. A lot of supernatural incidents used to be reported out of Zelkova. It seems like they happen in every country, but apparently not so much in ours."

Zoe Ellsworth said, "Still, it’s really creepy."

Luna Ainsworth spoke up. "It’s not just Zelkova. We have these kinds of things in Valeria too, but the news is usually suppressed. Some things just can’t be explained by science. However, it’s usually only children who can see them. Unless an adult has the Harmony Eye, the chances of them seeing anything are almost zero. So try to relax."
