Mr. CEO's Substitute Bride
Chapter 1696 - 1669: Wherever Our Eyes Meet, There Lies Eternity: You’d Better Not Play Any Tricks on Me
Violet Zimmerman turned around and locked the door, "Worried that the servants in your room will become suspicious again."
Joseph Lancaster laughed, "Aren’t you afraid the servants in your room will be suspicious?"
Violet Zimmerman first put a finger to her lips, then pointed next door with her lips saying, "Daxton is at home."
Joseph Lancaster...
His eyes widened in surprise, but he quickly understood his brother’s intention.
The second floor is the place for the Family Head to rest, servants won’t easily come up and disturb, and since the elder brother is there, they won’t be suspicious.
Joseph Lancaster couldn’t help but admire his elder brother’s caution and wisdom, yet felt sad for him; clearly at home, yet having to pretend not to know, staying next door listening to his wife and brother...
Joseph Lancaster couldn’t describe his feelings, holding Violet Zimmerman’s arm, "Violet, I..."
"Don’t speak, hurry up." With her husband Daxton Lancaster right next door, Violet Zimmerman felt a lot of pressure, but had no other choice.
As soon as she finished speaking, Joseph Lancaster lowered his handsome face, captured her lips, and led her towards the large bed.
When the two of them fell onto the bed, Violet Zimmerman dared not exclaim, fearing Daxton Lancaster might hear.
Next door, Daxton Lancaster was still leaning against the headrest, reading the newspaper, his fingers tightly gripping the paper, not turning the page for a long time.
Knowing his elder brother was next door, Joseph Lancaster dared not linger, but the more he wanted to end quickly, the less he could comply. Violet Zimmerman was tense, urging continuously, "How much longer?"
"Almost," Joseph Lancaster didn’t know how many times he repeated these two words, yet still was powerfully undeterred.
After this period, Violet Zimmerman had accumulated some experience, clear about what her brother-in-law was sensitive to. Not seeing any sign of ending, she gritted her teeth and boldly kissed him, hugging Joseph Lancaster’s neck, her lips and tongue messily licking his chin and neck.
His neck tingled, a surge quickly shot to a sensitive area, and with rapid movements, Joseph Lancaster quickly surrendered.
Pressing close to Violet Zimmerman’s ear, Joseph Lancaster couldn’t help but laugh; his woman had already mastered how to make him surrender quickly.
After a brief calm, Violet Zimmerman started urging Joseph Lancaster to leave, sitting on the bed quickly dressing, "Joseph, dress quickly too; it’s late."
"Why the rush? It’s only nine o’clock." Joseph Lancaster said with a smile, already fastening his belt, aware what Violet Zimmerman was worried about. Originally, he intended to tease her more. After thinking, he decided against it; his own woman, he couldn’t bear to scare her.
With a helpless sigh, he said, "Don’t rush me, I’ll be done soon."
Seeing Joseph Lancaster putting on his coat as he walked out of the guest room, Violet Zimmerman finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Back in the master bedroom, Daxton Lancaster was already "asleep", his eyes closed, appearing to sleep soundly.
Using the weak light from the bedside lamp, Violet Zimmerman tip-toed in, not daring to make a sound while closing the door, staring at the sleeping man on the bed, she tiptoed to the bedside, lifted the covers and lay on the bed, turning off the bedside lamp.
Almost simultaneously, the man who was sleeping suddenly opened his eyes; in the darkness, it was impossible to discern the emotion.
...
Daxton Lancaster came back early today, an hour earlier than usual.
"Family Head, you’re back." Sister Zhang came over with slippers.
"Hmm, where’s Madam?" Daxton Lancaster asked lightly while changing into slippers.
"The young master was fussing to sleep, Madam took him back to the room."
"Understood." Daxton Lancaster handed his coat to Sister Zhang and headed straight for the stairs.
Sister Zhang noticed that the Family Head had been acting strangely the past few days, as if someone had upset him, but then again not quite, an indescribable feeling; in any case, very unusual.
Daxton Lancaster’s pace on the stairs was somewhat slow, appearing very tired, yet his footsteps were light, almost silent, even when he reached the room door, Violet Zimmerman hadn’t heard a sound.
Daxton Lancaster held the door handle, took a deep breath with eyes closed, then suddenly pushed the door open, Violet Zimmerman was sitting in front of the dressing table, holding a water cup in one hand and medicine in the other, turning her head in a daze at the sudden appearance of the man.
Daxton Lancaster’s eyes narrowed dangerously, a shadow quickly climbed his handsome face, with a bang the wooden door slammed against the wall, his face darkened and stormy, quickly approaching Violet Zimmerman.
"Dax, Daxton, I..." Violet Zimmerman looked at Daxton Lancaster in panic, stammering in fright.
Bang, the water cup in her hand was snatched by Daxton Lancaster and smashed against the wall.
On the bed, Robert Lancaster who was sleeping soundly was startled awake by the sudden noise, bursting into tears.
In her fright, Violet Zimmerman couldn’t care for her son, instinctively closed her eyes and shrank her shoulders, hearing the child’s cries and wanting to comfort him, her wrist tightened, already caught by Daxton Lancaster.
"What are these medicines!"
The man in front, like an enraged lion, glared at Violet Zimmerman, roaring.
Violet Zimmerman looked at him in confusion. Like she’d been scared silly, it took a moment before she reacted, glancing at the two pills in her hand, "They’re calcium tablets."
"Why are you eating them for no reason!" Daxton Lancaster obviously did not believe Violet Zimmerman’s explanation; those pale pills must be contraceptive pills, the way to have more times with Joseph, intentionally not paying them back!
"Mom brought them this morning, said if I took them, Robert wouldn’t be lacking calcium." Violet Zimmerman carefully explained.
Behind, Robert Lancaster was sitting on the bed watching them, crying non-stop, stretching his little hand constantly calling "Dad, Mom~"
Daxton Lancaster stared closely at Violet Zimmerman’s face, as if discerning whether she was lying, suddenly his wrist loosened, Violet Zimmerman staggered and bumped into the dressing table in front.
Daxton Lancaster looked at her coldly warning, "I’m reminding you, better not play tricks with me! If I find out, there won’t be good consequences for you!"
