Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure
Chapter 1115 - 1124: Showcasing Love
Serena Sullivan stayed in the Imperial Capital to await the birth of her child, while Finn Chandler continued with her company matters. Everything gradually settled into a state of tranquility, even Anna Morgan was immersed in a blissful marriage.
She truly trusted Carter Lockwood a hundred percent.
When she woke up in the hospital, the first sight she saw was Carter Lockwood, which inexplicably brought her heart peace and calm.
Carter Lockwood said he was her fiancé.
Before coming to the Imperial Capital, they were supposed to get their marriage certificate, but because Finn Chandler’s child was lost, they came together to find the child.
Anna Morgan didn’t have the slightest doubt about Carter Lockwood’s words.
She believed him, and after recovering, she followed Carter Lockwood back to Solaria. Carter Lockwood asked her if she wanted to get their marriage certificate.
Anna Morgan didn’t think long, just about ten seconds, and then agreed.
She agreed so swiftly that even Carter Lockwood was surprised.
In Anna Morgan’s view, she and Carter Lockwood were an engaged couple, and they would need to have the certificate sooner or later, so might as well get it done early.
She really liked Carter Lockwood, even though she couldn’t quite remember the things between them, she just liked him so very much.
Carter Lockwood treated her very well. Like the previous night, when she was watching TV and saw a commercial for an engagement ring, she took a few extra glances. Lo and behold, Carter Lockwood brought back a ring, kneeled down on one knee, and proposed.
With the certificate already obtained, Anna Morgan didn’t care much for ceremonial gestures.
But Carter Lockwood’s thoughtfulness made Anna Morgan happy. She took a picture of the diamond ring on her ring finger and sent it to Serena Sullivan and Anna.
After sending it to them, they weren’t satisfied. She also posted it on her social media.
Not even ten seconds after posting, Anna received a call from someone named Sister Fang.
"Anna Morgan, have you gone mad? Delete the photo from your social media," Sister Fang said.
Anna Morgan was puzzled, "Why should I delete it?"
She was married, she was happy, she just liked showing off her wedding ring.
Who is this Sister Fang anyway!
"Who are you?"
Sister Fang’s words infuriated Anna Morgan, she could clearly hear Sister Fang breathing heavily in anger.
"Your ancestor!"
Anna Morgan felt Sister Fang’s name was familiar, her voice even more so.
"My ancestor?"
Anna Morgan went along with her words, "Never met."
"Anna Morgan."
Sister Fang was even more furious, "Have you gone stupid? You don’t even know who I am."
"I think the break I’ve given you has been too long!"
"Your new drama is about to be filmed, and the wedding ring post reaching the media—do you still want a career in showbiz?"
"Oh!"
Anna Morgan replied. She had been so focused on her well-being that she forgot what she was supposed to be doing.
Blame Carter Lockwood; he cared for her so much that she only had eyes for him.
She was Anna Morgan, the eldest daughter of The Morgan Family, and also a successful celebrity.
Sister Fang, well!
She was her manager.
"I’ll go delete it now."
Anna Morgan found Sister Fang’s words to make some sense, the news of her marriage broadcasting would cause all sorts of attention, potentially affecting Carter Lockwood’s life.
"No need, I just logged into your account and deleted it for you."
"Huh? How do you know my password?"
Anna Morgan asked curiously.
"Are you vacationing into stupidity? You obviously gave me the password."
"Luckily, your new drama starts shooting in a few days, that’ll keep you busy."
Sister Fang hung up the phone angrily, Anna Morgan checked her phone and indeed saw the post was down.
She had given Sister Fang her social media password, indicating Sister Fang was someone she trusted deeply.
Anna Morgan logged back into her account, browsed through her social media, and sure enough, it was deleted.
She then received messages from Serena Sullivan and Finn Chandler, both unanimously suggesting she delete the social media post.
