Finn said there were beautiful lotus flowers by the lake, so he went to pick one.

Instead of picking a flower, he got entangled with the Preston sisters.

When I arrived, I heard a splash, followed by Ivy’s cries for help.

Soon after, Ivy came over, grabbing his clothes, asking him to jump in and save Yara.

"You didn’t save her?"

Finn looked at Julian in astonishment.

Julian nodded and responded, "She called for help, the servants would naturally go, why should I jump in to save her?"

The drowning Yara wasn’t anyone to him; why should he save her?

Moreover, there were no signs of slipping by the waterside where Yara fell. Coupled with her starstruck look when he arrived at the Lockwood Family, Julian, based on his past experience of being pursued, thought Yara was deliberately falling into the water.

Anna Morgan nodded in agreement, "Yes, it’s a good thing your husband didn’t save her, otherwise she’d be clinging to him, and you wouldn’t have a peaceful day."

Finn didn’t have that many convoluted thoughts; if confronted with the Preston sisters, they’d likely suffer losses.

Julian, worried about Finn, reached out and held her hand.

He gave her a gentle look, warming Finn’s heart.

She might be schemed against, but with Julian around, these women couldn’t play tricks between them.

"These sisters are really annoying." Finn thought for a moment and said, Ivy seduced Miles Morgan and got pregnant.

She herself found a married man, how could she let her sister also find a married man.

"Don’t worry, if they come after your man again, tell me, I’ll help you beat them up."

Anna Morgan said, intending to beat Yara so she wouldn’t dare mess with other people’s men.

Finn smiled, looked at Anna Morgan and Carter Lockwood, and asked, "So how long are you two planning to keep this a secret? Will you tell them?"

"He should properly find someone around his age."

"Why would you talk about your son like that," Old Mrs. Lockwood disagreed, "I think they’re great."

"After the banquet, I’ll try to gauge Anna and Mrs. Monroe’s thoughts."

"If it’s possible, we can arrange the engagement."

The old master was concerned about Carter Lockwood’s lifelong matter but wasn’t as eager as Old Mrs. Lockwood.

Carter Lockwood was merely with Anna Morgan, and Old Mrs. Lockwood’s eyes were already shining, as if they were already dating.

She even talked about arranging the engagement!
