Chapter 874: Please Stay Away from My Lady!

“Ma’am, the baby in your belly hasn’t even been born yet. We don’t know whether to buy boy’s clothes or girl’s. Why don’t we look at something else first?” Standing beside her, Katherine Irving glanced over those baby outfits that got cuter with every piece, and suddenly thought of a very serious problem.

“What’s the big deal? We’ll just buy both boy and girl clothes.” Hearing Katherine say that, Summer Shawcross only curled her lips and replied casually.

“But isn’t that a bit of a waste?” Katherine nodded, but couldn’t help saying it.

As soon as she heard that, Summer smiled and spoke directly.

“It’s not a waste. The clothes we don’t end up using, we’ll just keep them for you and Sean Morgan.”

As soon as she said that, Katherine’s face instantly flushed red. She shyly called out to Summer.

“Ma’am…”

“What are you blushing for? You two are going to get married anyway.” Summer gave Katherine a look and said indifferently, then continued picking out clothes.

Every single baby outfit was unbelievably cute. Summer wished she could haul them all back home!

After Summer finished speaking, Katherine let out a long sigh and said dejectedly,

“Ma’am, you’re saying that way too early. Right now, I don’t even count as his girlfriend.”

Her relationship with Sean was very strange. The two of them were clearly already very close, and as warm with each other as family.

But she always felt that there was still some sense of distance between her and Sean, and it was hard to see a chance of taking things further.

Katherine’s words made Summer’s hand, which was picking out clothes, pause for a moment. She turned to glance at Katherine, then couldn’t help saying,

“Don’t worry, Sean will definitely marry you!” Summer herself didn’t know where this confidence came from, but whenever she thought about Katherine and Sean, she just inexplicably felt sure of it.

“Ma’am, do you really mean that?” Hearing Summer say this, Katherine was stunned at first, then an expression of immense surprise spread across her face.

Summer nodded, gave her a smile, and went on,

“I mean it. If you two don’t end up getting married, I’ll eat my words!”

She just felt that no one suited Sean better than Katherine.

And judging from Sean’s slow, straight-as-an-arrow personality, the fact that he was willing to worry and fuss so much over Katherine—if that wasn’t love, what else could it be?

If those two didn’t get married, that would be what’s really weird!

After Summer finished, Katherine couldn’t help but laugh as well, and her heart suddenly filled with much more confidence about marrying Sean.

Just as Summer was fully focused on picking baby clothes, a woman suddenly bumped into her arm.

“Honey, look, these clothes are so cute!” A soft, coquettish voice sounded right by her ear.

Hearing that, Summer froze for a second, turned her head, and saw a face with a sharp chin, big eyes, and an overall look that screamed silicone and plastic surgery.

Seeing that face, Summer paused for a moment, suddenly feeling that it looked a bit familiar.

“Miss, please stay a little farther away from my madam!” Seeing this, Katherine immediately walked over and politely pushed the woman who’d bumped into Summer away.

The woman froze, then turned to look at Katherine, her face instantly showing clear irritation.

“Where did this wild brat come from? So rude!” The woman glared hard at Katherine and snapped.
