Chapter 535: Chapter 447: The Little Loli Makes Her Move, the Extreme Division

The daily routines of the Eight Great Dominators were all quite similar, consisting mainly of endless Cultivation. They had very few recreational activities and wouldn’t have chosen to wander about if they hadn’t been completely stumped on how to break through their bottlenecks.

That’s right, the Eight Great Dominators were all much the same. They would just stay in their own territories and cultivate, repeatedly researching ways to advance further and attempting to develop more profound methods of manipulating the Heaven and Earth Spirit Charm.

To be honest, all of the Eight Great Dominators were undoubtedly geniuses. Otherwise, they never could have distinguished themselves from the countless members of the Demon Race to ultimately become the eight most powerful Great Dominators who cultivated their way up from nothing.

The Golden Eagle, however, couldn’t be considered to have come from nothing. Its bloodline brought a powerful boost to its Talent, and it had already monopolized the resources in the vast area surrounding the Primitive Ancient Forest. It was the one who distributed resources to the Eight Great Dominators—what more needed to be said?

The ones who had truly fought and cultivated their way up on their own were Great Dominators like the Nine-tailed Fox. However, there was still a considerable gap in Realm between them. Even within the Realm above Spirit Control, there were higher and lower levels.

Even before meeting Jiang Qiu, the Nine-tailed Fox was one of the top three among the Eight Great Dominators. She herself had already reached the verge of the Transformation Realm and had only been lacking the opportunity to break through. Jiang Qiu gave her that opportunity, allowing her to achieve her breakthrough.

As for the other five Great Dominators, however, they hadn’t even reached the Perfection of the realm above Spirit Control. Many were still only at the Middle Stage, and the few at the bottom were even at the Early Stage. Their strength was far inferior to that of the Nine-tailed Fox and her peers.

But it had to be said that the gaps within this High Realm above Spirit Control weren’t actually that large. What truly determined combat strength wasn’t how rich or vast one’s Heaven and Earth Spirit Charm was, but rather the level of mastery one had in utilizing it.

For example, some Great Demons chose to cover their bodies with Heaven and Earth Spirit Charm simply to inflict greater damage, but they never thought to use Refinement to give the Spirit Charm its own attribute—for instance, creating great fires, vast floods, or learning to Call the Wind and Summon the Rain. They also had difficulty mastering long-range attacks and were unable to inflict Magic damage. This was, fundamentally, an inferior approach.

The Nine-tailed Fox, on the other hand, was a true genius. Even before meeting Jiang Qiu, she had already mastered a certain level of application for the Heaven and Earth Spirit Charm. Thus, her power was plain for all to see.

However, the other Great Dominators among the eight were not so impressive. The weakest and youngest among them, the King Kong Ape, was still in the Early Stage of the realm above Spirit Control. He looked powerful, but in reality, he occupied the lowest rank among the Eight Great Dominators!

Only in the vicinity of his own territory did the ordinary Dominators fear him and know his name. Elsewhere, his reputation was unremarkable. Moreover, the actual area he commanded was no match for the Nine-tailed Fox’s; the difference was enormous.

And the first region Xiong Batian and One-tailed arrived in was precisely the King Kong Ape’s territory. The moment they stepped into it, One-tailed sniffed a faint fluctuation of Heaven and Earth Spirit Charm unique to a Great Demon. She licked her delicate lips. “The King Kong Ape is heading toward us.”

As she spoke, Xiong Batian slowed down, slightly stunned. “Where?”

Xiong Batian was at the Perfection of the Spirit Control Realm, still some distance from the realm above it. He mainly lacked the right opportunity and had not mastered the ability to sense Heaven and Earth Spirit Charm externally. Thus, unlike One-tailed, he couldn’t sense the King Kong Ape’s presence from afar. He couldn’t help but become cautious, feeling a sense of shock.

The gap between him and One-tailed was truly a chasm. She had easily detected the King Kong Ape’s presence from so far away, while he only came to his senses when he heard the THUD, THUD, THUD of the earth-shaking tremors. “He’s here,” he finally said.

When the King Kong Ape appeared, the entire land began to tremble. A great deal of vegetation was crushed as a behemoth seemed to stroll over from the distance. Its movements were slow, yet it was so massive that the ancient trees of the primitive forest, which had always been incredibly thick and tall enough to blot out the sun, seemed like normal-sized tree trunks in comparison to its colossal frame.

The trunks of the great trees, standing tall like a forest, were not even as thick as its waist. It was like Taishan Mountain moving in from the distance, crushing all living things beneath its feet. Its massive hands grabbed the trunks of the ancient trees, leaving behind deep palm prints.

Its head reached nearly as high as the midpoint of the trees in the Primitive Ancient Forest. It was like a giant, at least ten zhang tall. Most strikingly, its enormous head looked just like a black sun suspended high in the sky.

It looked down, and in its eyes, Xiong Batian and One-tailed were impossibly tiny, like grains of sand that could be crushed with a single step. They were truly minuscule, so small they could be killed with the poke of a finger.

However, it would not look down on these two little ants before it. It could sense that both of their auras were quite extraordinary. Among them, the little mount, Xiong Batian, was at the Perfection of the Spirit Control Realm, which was already a considerably high Realm. Crucially, his hostile energy was intense; he was belligerent and always victorious, and his arrogance was plain to see.

In other words, the King Kong Ape saw and sensed that Xiong Batian was a stubborn and powerful Dominator. At least within its own territory, it had never encountered a Dominator with such a powerful presence. It estimated that he could probably compare to those on the verge of becoming a Great Dominator.

However, without being nourished by Spirit Fruits, such a Dominator could never become a Great Dominator. The gap between their Realms was a chasm; they were practically in two completely different classes, one high and one low.
