Chapter 567 - 463: Spatial Ring, Various Spiritual Treasures from Celestial Wolf City

  • Next Chapter

Having casually killed those members of the Celestial Wolf Race from Celestial Wolf City, One-tailed felt no pressure whatsoever. She didn’t give it a second thought. It seemed the faint sense of worry she’d felt before had just been an illusion; she currently felt no pressure to speak of.

In other words, even if her opponents did possess a way to threaten her, they died so quickly that they had no time to use it. They were dead the moment she met them.

To put it another way, no matter who came from Celestial Wolf City, as long as their Realm had not reached the Transformation Realm and they couldn’t detect the trajectory of her Heaven and Earth Spirit Charm manipulation, they were destined for an instant death, regardless of their numbers.

How could they possibly understand? When One-tailed killed her enemies, she directly manipulated the air, casually forming condensed red threads. Slicing through them was like cutting tofu—there was almost no resistance. A slight flick of her fingertips was all it took to kill them.

It was all so easy that One-tailed wasn’t worried about encountering more enemies from Celestial Wolf City. The Squirrel Demon, however, came skipping over and began rummaging through the corpses. A moment later, she found a thumb ring. It had been on the finger of the lead Demon Race member, the one at the Spirit Control Realm, and the Squirrel Demon had just pulled it off. "Lord One-tailed, here’s a Spatial Ring!"

"Spatial Ring?" One-tailed’s brow furrowed slightly as she stared at the Squirrel Demon in confusion. "What’s that?"

She was undeniably powerful, but her knowledge of Celestial Wolf City was extremely limited. After all, her access to information was severely restricted, and she had never been there herself. Furthermore, the common knowledge the Squirrel Demon had shared with her over the past few days mostly concerned daily life; items like this were never mentioned.

And now, it seemed she’d encountered something beyond her understanding. She walked over gracefully and took the Jadeite Jade Ring from the Squirrel Demon. Its craftsmanship was truly divine, inlaid with patterns of gold thread that complemented the translucent jade body, creating an air of utmost luxury!

This was, without a doubt, the most exquisite object One-tailed had ever seen. Its craftsmanship was of a caliber she had never encountered before in her entire life—it was simply incomparable.

The moment she saw an object of such quality, her heart skipped a beat. The feeling wasn’t overwhelming, but in that instant, she found herself wanting it. ’This could be very convenient for me,’ she realized.

As this thought crossed her mind, she heard the Squirrel Demon explain, "This is an extremely expensive type of Spiritual Treasure in Celestial Wolf City, crafted from a very rare ore. In a city of a million members of the Demon Race, the number of Great Demons who can wear a Spiritual Treasure like this is less than one hundred. Each one is a powerhouse of their clan. The Celestial Wolf Race is wealthy and powerful, so they possess the most, but even they don’t have that many.

"Practically every Great Demon who can wear a Spatial Ring is a Great Dominator, very close to the Transformation Realm, and someone who has rendered great service to their people!"

The Squirrel Demon explained excitedly. One-tailed extended a slender index finger and slipped it into the ring. With a slight stir of her Heaven and Earth Spirit Charm, she felt it tighten. The inner wall contracted, fitting snugly onto her finger. It looked perfect and felt very comfortable.

’What a strange Spatial Ring,’ One-tailed thought. She sent her consciousness probing into it and was surprised to see a multitude of things inside, as if her mind had entered another space. It stored tens of thousands of high-quality-looking Spirit Coins, along with some other curious items that One-tailed couldn’t identify.

The space was vast, about the size of a small cavern with a ceiling some fifty or sixty feet high—large enough to contain a small lake.

One-tailed was pleasantly surprised to have obtained such a treasure. An irrepressible curiosity bubbled up from within. "Do you recognize the things inside the Spatial Ring?"

As she spoke, she dumped a pile of items out of the Spatial Ring. The Squirrel Demon’s pupils constricted—she had never imagined its contents would be so bountiful!

CLATTER! All sorts of treasures tumbled onto the ground, forming a small mound. Some were everyday items that even the Squirrel Demon had heard of, but most were things she didn’t recognize.

Indeed, there were many items she knew nothing about. After all, how could a mere Independent Cultivator like her possibly fathom the profound resources of the Celestial Wolf Race?

For many of the items, she had only heard rumors at best and knew no concrete details. In this situation, she wasn’t necessarily much more knowledgeable than One-tailed. Suppressing her excitement, she carefully began to introduce the few treasures she did recognize.

Then, the thought that none of these things were hers gradually calmed her down, and her excitement faded. Still, the envy in her eyes was impossible to hide, like a little girl gazing at a lollipop.

"Hm, several sets of silk clothes. They seem clean, completely unworn. Are they dresses?" One-tailed hooked a finger under a folded, plain white dress, her eyes crinkling with budding delight. "It looks too big. I won’t be able to wear it."

A little disappointed, she then thought of her true form. ’Although it’s also the body of a young woman, a wide, long dress like this might actually suit it.’

’Strange. Logically, a Cultivator from the Celestial Wolf Race shouldn’t be wearing a dress like this. Why would he keep something like this in his Spatial Ring?’
