Lilith blushed as she quietly followed Yuan’s lead. Knowing that people were watching them only made her feel even more self-conscious.

Yuan noticed her reaction and asked with a teasing smile, "Are you getting shy because everyone is staring at us? What happened to the proud queen I met before?"

Hearing his teasing, Lilith’s cheeks grew even redder, and her grip around Yuan’s hand tightened slightly.

"W-Who says I’m embarrassed? You’re just imagining things," Lilith huffed adorably, making Yuan chuckle.

Before long, they arrived at the park, where several other couples were strolling together.

The peaceful atmosphere made the surroundings feel even more romantic. Yuan led her toward the pond, and the two sat down together by the shore.

Unlike before, they were sitting much closer to each other. Their shoulders lightly brushed, yet neither of them made any attempt to move away.

"It’s so peaceful here..." Lilith murmured after a while, trying to break the comfortable silence between them.

"It really is. And it’s quite beautiful too, don’t you think?" Yuan replied with a smile and a gentle nod.

"Besides, we’re not the only ones here. Just look at all the couples spending time with the people they care about."

"Absolutely," Lilith replied with a soft smile.

Then she looked directly into his eyes. After hesitating for a brief moment, she gathered her courage and asked,

"But what about us, Yuan? We’re not a couple... at least, not yet. Should we really be spending time together like this?"

Upon hearing her question, Yuan fell silent for a moment before a gentle smile appeared on his face.

Then he said, "How about we change that?"

"Right now? A-Are you serious?" Lilith stared at him in complete disbelief.

’Is this really happening...? Am I actually not dreaming?’ she questioned inwardly, unable to believe what she had just heard.

Yuan chuckled at her stunned expression before replying, "Would I joke about something like this? I’m asking if you’d like to become my partner."

Lilith stared at him blankly for several seconds. To make sure she was truly awake, she gently pinched her own cheek.

"Ouch... I-It’s real... I’m really not dreaming..." she whispered, an overjoyed smile spreading across her face.

"So... what’s your answer?" Yuan asked with a warm smile.

"I-I accept! I want to be your partner... your wife!" she exclaimed before throwing her arms around him in a heartfelt embrace.

She rested her head against his chest, quietly enjoying his comforting presence, wishing the moment would never end.

At the same time, she still found it difficult to believe that everything was real and not simply a beautiful dream.

Even if this somehow turned out to be a dream, she never wanted to wake up. She wished she could remain in this moment forever, safe within his embrace.

Yuan chuckled softly before returning the embrace, allowing her to hold him for as long as she wished. He couldn’t help but notice how gentle and comforting her embrace felt, catching him slightly by surprise.

"Does it make you uncomfortable that I’m hugging you like this in front of everyone?" Lilith asked softly as she looked up at him.

"In fact, I’m really happy."

"After all, I’m being hugged by such a beautiful woman. I think there are plenty of people who would envy me right now."

Lilith’s heart raced after hearing those words, but she quickly composed herself and smiled warmly at him.

"Now you know how fortunate you are to have this lady’s attention... Though honestly, I think I’m the luckier one for meeting you," Lilith said before giving him another gentle hug.

"Not only are you incredibly handsome, but you’re also unbelievably strong—to the point that I can’t even imagine the true extent of your power."

"My strength, huh?" Yuan smiled softly as he looked across the pond.

"You may think I’m nearly invincible... However, in front of a true expert, I’m no different from a child."

"In front of someone like that, I wouldn’t even last a single second. There’s still a long road ahead of me, and my journey has only just begun," Yuan said with a calm smile.

Lilith couldn’t detect the slightest trace of deception in his words. For the first time, she found herself wondering whether such terrifying experts truly existed. And if they did, where were they now?

Seeing the thoughtful expression on her face, Yuan realized he had steered the conversation in an unnecessary direction, one that didn’t quite suit the mood.

"I see... Then let’s have lunch together," Lilith replied immediately, a bright smile appearing on her face as she stood up from the bench.

Some time later, they arrived at a large restaurant and placed their orders.

While waiting for the food to arrive, Lilith looked at Yuan with surprise.

"Are you really ordering all of that? Can you actually finish it?"

"It’s alright. I have a much bigger appetite than most people," Yuan replied with an awkward smile.

"Really? I’m surprised. What you ordered looks like enough food for ten people."

"Well... you’re not wrong," Yuan replied with a dry laugh.

Before long, the food arrived, and they began enjoying their meal. Throughout lunch, Lilith occasionally found herself stealing glances at Yuan, unable to hide the smile on her face.

After finishing their meal, they returned to the inn. Once they were inside, Lilith quietly closed the door behind them.

"So... shall we finally talk about our future together?" Lilith asked with a warm smile as she sat beside him, turning to face him.

"Of course, if you’re comfortable talking about it," Yuan replied with a nod.

"You can ask me anything."

"Alright then," Yuan said with a smile before asking his first question.

"You already know that I’ll be leaving this continent very soon. And if you decide to come with me... what will happen to your people?"

"You’re their queen—the only remaining member of the Succubus Royal Family. There’s no way the kingdom can continue without you, because there would be no one left to lead them," he said, looking at her with a serious expression.

Lilith fell silent for a while, staring at the floor as she gathered her thoughts.

"To be honest... I haven’t thought that far ahead yet," she admitted after a brief pause. "And you’re right. Without me, the Succubus Kingdom would eventually cease to exist."

"I’m the last surviving member of the Succubus Royal Family. Only I can produce a royal heir to carry on the bloodline," she said with a soft sigh.

She then looked at Yuan and asked, "Do you have any suggestions about what I should do as their queen? What would be best for my people?"

Yuan pretended to think for a few moments before looking back at her with a smile.

"I think I have a solution. One that would allow you to stay with me while also ensuring that the Succubus Kingdom continues to prosper."

"What?! You already have a solution?!" Lilith exclaimed in astonishment, unable to hide the excitement in her voice.

She had finally found someone she could rely on. Yet because Yuan was preparing to leave the continent, she had resigned herself to saying goodbye if she wished to preserve her kingdom.

But now that Yuan claimed to have a solution, hope once again blossomed in her heart. Perhaps she could protect her people while also remaining with the man she had fallen in love with.

"Tell me your solution. I’ll begin making preparations immediately," Lilith said eagerly, unable to conceal her excitement.

"It’s actually quite simple. All you need to do is move the entire kingdom into an artificial world. Your people could live there safely, and you’d be able to visit them whenever you wanted," Yuan explained calmly.
