After the ceremony ended, Yuan and the others returned to the palace since there was nothing else left for them to do.

They had already set up the formations, which would remain active for hundreds of years by continuously absorbing the surrounding Spiritual Energy to sustain themselves.

Aside from the servants, the palace was nearly empty since the royal family was still at the memorial grounds.

"Finally, everything is over... The fallen soldiers received the respect they deserved, and at the same time, the tensions between the nations have finally come to an end," Nerith sighed softly as she sprawled across the sofa, feeling as though a heavy burden had been lifted from her shoulders.

She then turned toward Long Yuyan and said, "Thank you, Miss Long, for setting up the formations. They’ll surely help bring the people of every nation closer together."

"There’s no need to thank me. It was only a small matter, so there’s no need to dwell on it," Long Yuyan replied with a smile, a hint of pride in her expression.

"Even so, thanks to you, there won’t be any disturbances at the memorial grounds, and everyone who visits will find a sense of peace there," Nerith said with a gentle smile, sincerely expressing her gratitude.

A couple of hours later, the royal family returned from the memorial grounds, and one of the maids informed Yuan and the others that the Emperor had summoned them.

"What do you think, Nerith? Why does your brother want to see us?" Valeria asked, narrowing her eyes curiously.

Nerith shook her head and replied, "I have no idea. Shall we go and find out?"

A few moments later, they arrived before Emperor Rhex and Empress Varia, who immediately gestured for everyone to take a seat.

Once they were seated, Emperor Rhex spoke. "Yuan, I want to thank you for everything you and your companions have done for the empire—for the entire continent, in fact."

"You have my deepest gratitude for helping us during our darkest hour. I honestly don’t know how I could ever properly repay the kindness you have shown us."

"I don’t believe I’ll ever be able to repay that debt in this lifetime," he said, his voice filled with both gratitude and respect.

"There’s no need to thank us. I merely honored the agreement we made," Yuan replied calmly.

"Besides, you have treated us generously ever since we arrived on this continent. You can consider that a form of repayment."

"When you put it that way, I suppose you’re right," Nerith said with a smile, nodding gently.

Yuan smiled back at Nerith before turning his attention to Emperor Rhex once more.

"Was there anything else you wanted to discuss?"

"Well, nothing in particular..." Emperor Rhex paused briefly before continuing, "However, now that the war has ended, are you planning to return to the Human Continent?"

"We’ll be returning to the Human Continent very soon. By that, I mean within the next two or three days," Yuan replied with a smile before rising from the sofa.

"I see... Just let us know before you leave," Emperor Rhex replied with a smile as he stood up as well.

Yuan nodded before leaving the room with his wives. There were still a few matters he needed to take care of before departing from the continent.

Yuan returned to his room. Meanwhile, everyone except Anna Grace, Nerith, and Isolde headed to the training room to continue cultivating.

"So, what are you planning to do about the Succubus Queen?" Anna Grace asked, fixing him with a sharp gaze.

"Are you going to accept her... or are you planning to leave her behind?"

Yuan pondered for a moment before replying, "I’m having a hard time figuring her out... She’s definitely an exceptional individual."

"Besides that, I’ve seen genuine care in her eyes whenever she speaks about her people. I’d say she’s a great queen... The only flaw is that she tends to be overly rational."

"Hmm... It seems you’ve taken quite an interest in her, considering how much you’ve noticed," Anna Grace said with a mischievous grin.

Yuan looked at her with a puzzled expression, wondering whether his mother was giving him her approval or teasing him.

She stepped closer, pulled him into a gentle hug, and whispered into his ear.

"I know you’re interested in her... And despite your first encounter, I don’t think she’s a bad person."

She paused for a moment before continuing, "However, I don’t know whether she’ll be able to leave her people behind if she chooses to be with you."

"As the only royal of the Succubus Kingdom and its queen, she carries the responsibility of protecting and guiding her people."

Yuan took a deep breath, breathing in his mother’s familiar scent as he quietly thought things through.

"Well, we’ll only know after we ask her. Besides, I have the Secret Realm. If she agrees, we could simply move the entire kingdom into the Secret Realm."

Anna Grace nodded with a smile and added, "That’s certainly possible... But only if she truly chooses to be with you."

"Fortunately for you, Her Majesty Lilith has decided to remain in the capital for a few more days. Now I finally understand why," Isolde said with a soft chuckle as she shared the news.

"Oh, so she really is interested in our Yuan... I see now," Nerith said with a quiet laugh.

"So, when are you going to confess your feelings to her? After all, you won’t be staying on this continent much longer," Isolde asked, narrowing her eyes at him.

"I-I... don’t know..." Yuan replied awkwardly, unsure of how to answer.

"By the way, I know where she’s staying," Nerith said with a mischievous smile. "If you want, I can tell you."

"There’s no need. I can find her on my own," Yuan replied casually. With his Divine Sense, locating her would only take a moment.

Anna Grace chuckled softly. "It seems I’ll be welcoming another daughter-in-law before long."

Shortly afterward, Yuan went to the bathroom, took a quick bath, changed into a fresh set of clothes, and stepped back out.

"Are you going to meet her?" Anna Grace asked.

"Yes. We’ll be leaving this continent very soon, so I’d better not waste any more time," Yuan replied.

Before leaving, Yuan gently embraced his mother and held her close for a long moment.

"Once you come back, you’d better spoil me properly... Otherwise, don’t expect me to make things easy for you," Anna Grace whispered with a playful yet dangerous smile before letting him go.

"Did you really need to say that?" Yuan chuckled softly before quickly leaving her side.

After leaving the palace, Yuan spread out his Divine Sense and quickly located the place where Lilith was staying before flying straight toward it.

It took him less than a minute to arrive. He landed behind the building to avoid attracting unnecessary attention.

After entering the building, he approached the male attendant at the front desk and politely asked about Queen Lilith.

After all, he didn’t want to accidentally create any misunderstandings. Since Lilith was an honored guest, asking the attendant first was the most appropriate course of action.

A few minutes later, Yuan arrived at the room where Lilith was staying. He knocked on the door a few times before a gentle voice responded from inside.

"Who is it?"

"It’s me, Yuan," he replied calmly while standing outside the door.

"Yuan?! Give me a few minutes! I need to tidy myself up!" she called from inside, her voice carrying a hint of panic.

Yuan could clearly hear hurried footsteps and the sounds of things being moved around, followed by the bathroom door opening.

He couldn’t help but chuckle softly as he waited patiently outside.

’It seems I should have informed her before coming here,’ he thought inwardly.

A few moments later, Lilith opened the door looking refreshed, and a pleasant fragrance drifted from her.

’She managed to freshen up in just a few minutes... Her hair is still damp...’ Yuan immediately noticed her slightly wet hair. She had also changed into an elegant dress that suited her remarkably well.

’She certainly put some effort into preparing for my visit...’ he thought with an inward smile.

"Please, come in. I was taking a nap when you arrived... I’m sorry for making you wait outside," she said apologetically.

"It’s alright," Yuan replied with a smile as he followed her inside.

Once they had taken their seats, Lilith looked at him with a warm smile.

"I’m really happy you didn’t forget about me and decided to visit. To be honest, your sudden arrival caught me completely by surprise."

"I completely forgot to let you know I was coming. Besides, I won’t be staying on this continent much longer, so I was in a bit of a hurry," Yuan explained.

"I see... Well, give me a moment. I’ll prepare some tea for us," she said before getting up and leaving Yuan alone in the room.

A few minutes later, she returned carrying tea along with a selection of sweet snacks. The two then spent some time chatting about various topics while enjoying the refreshments together.

Some time later, Lilith suddenly stood up and smiled.

"How about we take a walk through the park? It sounds rather pleasant, don’t you think?"

"Sure. It would be my pleasure to accompany a beautiful lady like you," Yuan replied with a smile as he gently took her hand.

After locking her room, Lilith informed her guards that she would be taking a walk around the city before leaving with Yuan.

The two walked side by side through the city, their hands lightly intertwined as they made their way toward the park at the center of the capital, drawing more than a few curious glances from the people around them.
