Chapter 293: Mother-Daughter Bonding
Mei immediately regretted saying anything.
Rin pointed dramatically. "She’s blushing!"
"I’m not."
"You absolutely are."
"I’m not."
"You’re literally red."
Eric nodded. "She’s red."
Mei considered murdering her entire family while Lianhua couldn’t stop smiling.
"I like him."
Mei froze. "What?"
"I said I like him," Lianhua took a sip of her drink.
"He’s polite."
"Respectful."
"Good looking."
"Hardworking."
Rin immediately added: "Very good looking."
Mei threw a napkin at her causing the younger girl to laugh even harder.
Lianhua continued. "He treats you well."
Mei looked away. "Yeah."
Lianhua’s smile grew. "Good."
Then she reached across the table and squeezed her daughter’s hand. "Remember."
Mei looked up.
"I’m your mother."
"If you ever need advice..." Lianhua winked. "...or help."
Rin nearly fell out of her chair. "Oh my God."
"We should share everything."
Mei immediately choked. "Everything?"

The new few days became surprisingly peaceful.
For once, West wasn’t dealing with gang issues and ruin expeditions or angry crime bosses... he was simply relaxing.
The afternoon sunlight streamed through the large windows of his apartment, painting warm golden patterns across the floor. An expensive movie played quietly on the television while West lounged comfortably on the couch.
An expensive bottle of wine rested on the table nearby and behind him stood Gor’thala.
The ten feet tall orc warrior was wearing a maid outfit.
The black-and-white outfit contrasted heavily against her imposing physique and elegant features. Combined with her long hair and calm expression, she looked less like a maid and more like a final boss pretending to be one.
West occasionally glanced backward before shaking his head. "You’re ridiculously hot."
Gor’thala tilted her head. "I do not understand."
West laughed. "Exactly."
Her fingers continued working against his shoulders, massaging them with her fingers that were strong enough to crack stone...
West took another sip of wine while glancing at his phone.
A message from Mei appeared and West nearly laughed when he saw it.
Mei: My mother said we should share everything.
West: What’s wrong with that? She’s your mother.
Mei: You really mean EVERYTHING?
West: Depends on your definition.
Mei: Including our bedroom stuff?
West smirked.
West: You’re an adult.
Mei: That’s not an answer.
West: She’s more experienced than you.
A few seconds passed before Mei replied.
Mei: Are you saying I should ask her for advice?
West: Maybe.
Mei: Seriously? Are you saying I’m not good enough?
West: That’s not what I meant.
Mei: This conversation feels illegal.
West chuckled as the typing indicator appeared, disappeared and then returned after a few moments.
Mei: If you’re okay with it maybe I’ll be more open with her.
West: Sounds healthy.
Mei: Healthy?
West: You’d be surprised how many people never talk to their parents about anything.
Mei sent a thinking emoji.
Mei: Maybe you’re right.
West placed the phone down for a while and simply enjoyed the silence.
Things were going according to his plans... which was perfect.
Eventually Gor’thala spoke. "Master."
"Hm?"
"You are smiling."
West raised an eyebrow. "That’s a bad thing?"
"No."
She paused. "You rarely do it when relaxed. Usually your smile means you’re up to something nefarious."
West blinked before letting out a burst of laughter.
Maybe she was right... life had been insane lately. West smiles had been nothing short of cold, in moments where he wasn’t supposed to be smiling at all... Always in the middle of very crazy situations.
Seeing him smiling when everywhere was peaceful was quite rare.
Nonetheless, West was glad because everything felt peaceful for once.

~ Four Days Later ~
The evening had settled into a comfortable quiet in the living room. Mei sat cross-legged on the plush carpet with her back against the sofa and a mug of tea warming her hands. Lianhua was curled up in the armchair across from her with a glass of red wine dangling from her fingers.
The television murmured softly, playing some drama neither of them was watching.
Mei had been fidgeting for the past ten minutes with her eyes darting toward her mother, then away. The silence stretched, filled with unspoken words.
Lianhua noticed and finally broke the silence. "Something on your mind, darling?" She probed with a gentle voice.
Mei bit her lip. She had been thinking about this ever her mother said she could talk to her about anything... and she should particularly be open on her relationship with West.
"I... I’ve been... having sex," Mei voiced with a low tone.
Lianhua set her wine down as her expression transformed to one of warm curiosity. "I gathered as much. You’ve been glowing lately. Walking around with that dreamy look in your eyes." She smiled. "With Smith, I presume?"
Mei took a deep breath. "YES."
Lianhua’s smile deepened as a knowing glint appeared in her eyes. "Ah, yes...Smith."
"You’re not mad?" Mei voice trembled slightly.
"Mad? Why would I be mad? He’s a good man. Handsome. Strong. Takes care of himself." Lianhua picked up her wine again, taking a slow sip. "I’ve seen the way you two act around each other. You’re happy, aren’t you?"
Mei nodded as a blush creeped up her cheeks. "I am. He makes me feel... incredible."
Lianhua’s eyes softened while leaning forward to rest her elbows on her knees. "Then that’s all that matters, sweetheart. You’re a grown woman. You can make your own choices."
Mei felt a wave of relief but still a little bit squeamish.
She hesitated before blurting out, "We’re... we’re very sexually active. Very active..."
Lianhua let out a small, amused laugh. "A man like Smith, with a body like that? And a girl your age, with your appetite?" She shook her head, still smiling. "It would be strange if you weren’t."
Mei stared at her mother for a bit. "You’re not going to tell me to wait? Or that I’m too young?"
"Too young?" Lianhua chuckled before taking another sip. "I was married at your age, Mei. And let me tell you, I wish someone had given me real advice back then instead of all that ’save yourself for marriage’ nonsense."
Mei was stunned. She had never heard her mother talk like this. The woman sitting before her seemed like a stranger...
"Mom, I... I don’t know what to say."
Lianhua set her wine down again. "Then let me do the talking. You said you’re sexually active with Smith. Tell me... how is it? Be honest."
Mei’s blush deepened, but something about her mother’s openness emboldened her. "It’s... amazing. He’s amazing. He knows exactly what to do, how to touch me, how to make me feel good."
"He’s experienced," Lianhua said, nodding knowingly. "That’s good. An inexperienced man is a liability in bed." Her eyes sharpened. "But are you satisfying him?"
The question caught Mei off guard. "I... I think so. He seems to enjoy it."
"Seems to?" Lianhua raised an eyebrow. "That’s not good enough. A man like Smith... a powerful, attractive man at the top of his game... he has options, Mei. Plenty of women would love to warm his bed. If you want to keep him, you need to make sure he has no reason to look elsewhere."
Mei’s heart skipped a beat. "Mom, you’re scaring me."
"I’m not trying to scare you, darling. I’m trying to prepare you." Lianhua’s voice softened. "Men are simple creatures. Feed them well, make them feel respected, and satisfy them in bed. Do those three things, and they’ll never leave. Fail at any one of them, and you’ll find yourself replaced."
Mei swallowed hard. "How do I... satisfy him? I mean, I try. I do what he asks. I let him—"
"You let him take the lead," Lianhua interrupted gently. "That’s fine for now but you need to learn to take control too. Be proactive. Surprise him." She leaned in, whispering in a low tone. "For example, have you ever gone down on him?"
Mei’s face turned crimson. "Yes. I have."
"And how does he react?"
"He... he likes it. He always moans and grabs my hair."
Lianhua nodded with a slow, approving smile spreading across her face. "Good. But are you doing it right?"
Mei blinked. "I... I think so? I try to take him as deep as I can."
"That’s the problem," Lianhua stated. "You’re trying. There’s a technique to it. You can’t just shove it in and hope for the best."
Mei stared at her mother, utterly speechless. This was not the conversation she had expected. This was not the mother she had grown up with. The woman sitting across from her was speaking with the confidence of a seasoned courtesan, and Mei had no idea how to process it.
"Let me give you some advice," Lianhua continued, settling back into her chair. "When you’re sucking him off, don’t just focus on the tip. Take him deep. Your throat needs to relax, open up. It’s not about forcing it... it’s about controlling your breathing."
"Controlling my breathing?"
Lianhua nodded. "Yes. A lot of women gag because they panic. They tense up. You need to relax your throat muscles. Breathe through your nose. And when you feel him hit the back of your throat, don’t pull away. Push through it. Swallow around him."
