While lying on his bed, Anton thought about some of the concerns Romina had brought up. She was worried that because Anton kept trading away his movie collection, the films would spread quickly enough to eventually affect the family's cinema business.

"I know what I'm doing. I've only traded them to people who rarely leave their own territories. They also have a touch of xenophobia among themselves, so they usually don't mingle with outsiders."

Romina admitted that Anton was right. When she considered the people he had traded the movies to—the Northern Forest elves, the Meronoma elves, and most recently the merfolk, a people who lived beneath the ocean—there was very little chance that the movies would spread beyond them.

Another concern was the durability of the magic item recorders used to store the films. Anton explained that the Northern Forest and Meronoma elves used the same type of magic item recorders as they did, meaning that the recordings had a limited lifespan.

This meant that the movies they had purchased from Anton would not last forever. The only way to extend their lifespan would be to copy the films onto new magic item recorders. The problem was that every time a film was copied, its quality would degrade until it eventually became unwatchable.

The only people who might possess magic items capable of storing recordings indefinitely were the merfolk, with their Luminous Recording Pearls. However, the chance of the films spreading outward from them was almost nonexistent simply because they lived beneath the ocean.

The only people capable of reaching the merfolk would be powerful wizards, and powerful wizards generally did not care much about entertainment.

Still, Romina had a point. Anton should not continue trading away his movies so freely. They were the cornerstone of the family's future wealth, and sooner or later, he would become too busy exploring the multiverse to return home regularly.

He wanted to ensure that, even without him, the family he left behind would be able to live wealthy and comfortable lives.

Romina and Luna had once told Anton that they found their lives in Ormunda exciting. The movie and fashion businesses fulfilled them in a way that no other line of work could. They looked forward to waking up every morning because each new day felt like an exciting chapter in their lives, brightened by the worlds of movies and fashion.

They had also told him that they were not the only ones who felt that way.

Luna once told him that things would probably be different if they were wizards. However, as ordinary people, the movie and fashion industries felt like magic to her.

Anton had jokingly told Luna that it seemed a little shallow to him, but she had merely shrugged.

She explained that ordinary people, especially those who were wealthy but lacked power, tended to find shallow things to fill their lives.

Anton had to admit that Romina and Luna had a point. Even Anna, who had the potential to become one of the most powerful wizards in Ormunda someday, was enamored with the movie and fashion industries.

He also knew that ordinary people were not the only ones who had become enamored with movies. Even some low-level mages had become addicted to watching films. They spread the word that watching the movies and television shows produced by the Sunder Family was an excellent way to relieve the stress of studying magic.

The next day, Anton remained in his room and prepared for the new Diablo II ladder season. This time, he planned to spend most of his day leveling up his Diablo II ladder characters.

He had already created a schedule.

Anton would sleep for three hours, which was sufficient with the help of the Pearl of the Ocean. He would spend around two hours meditating with the Spatial Magic Meditation Array to advance his progress, another two hours studying his spatial spells, and one hour studying the spatial structure of the Gate spell so he could add it to the Sorceress's Fourth Skill Tab.

The rest of his time would be spent leveling up his Diablo II ladder characters, excluding the time required to attend to his bodily needs.

His goal was to level up more than thirteen characters, unlike in the previous two ladder seasons. He even planned to give up watching movies and television shows for the duration of the season.

Anton was simply glad that he had already warned his tutor and batchmates not to disturb him. He had even posted a note on his door stating the same thing.

The moment the ladder season began, Anton created his first ladder character.

He started with the Sorceress because she was his fastest leveler, and he wanted to begin the season with a strong start.

He noticed that both Anders and Anna had joined the ladder season as well. However, he did not intrude on their games and instead joined a pickup group.

Anton was thrilled when he managed to reach the maximum level with his Sorceress in only eight days. It was the shortest time in which he had ever reached the maximum level.

He did not delay. He transferred the most powerful item he had acquired from the game into the real world, along with the corresponding stats he was supposed to transfer. He then deleted the Sorceress character and created a new one.

Since the Sorceress was his fastest leveler, Anton planned to level up Sorceress characters as many as six or seven times during the ladder season, using the loophole Anna had discovered.

Less than five minutes later, he was back to leveling a brand-new Sorceress.

To prevent himself from straying from his goals, Anton set an alarm to remind him when it was time to rest. He did not want to lose focus because of a lack of sleep, nor did he want to neglect his studies of spatial magic.

Anton reached the maximum level with his second Sorceress of the season in another eight days, which disappointed him slightly.

He had thought he could shorten the time, but it still took him eight days.

Once again, Anton immediately transferred another powerful item from the game into the real world, along with the corresponding stats. He then deleted his second Sorceress and created his third.

This time, his goal was to reach the maximum level in less than eight days.

Anton was pleased when he achieved it.

He managed to reach the maximum level with his third Sorceress in only seven days. After completing the necessary transfers, he deleted the character and created his fourth Sorceress.

While leveling his fourth Sorceress, Anton could not deny that he was beginning to feel the effects of the massive number of stats he had transferred from his characters into his real-world body.

That realization energized him because he felt that he was nearing the threshold of becoming an Invincible-Rank wizard.

Anton managed to level his fourth Sorceress to the maximum level in another seven days.

After transferring the item he had prepared and the corresponding stats, he took a break from leveling to meet with his Apprentice Traveler tutor for their scheduled meeting.

Thankfully, his tutor seemed satisfied with his progress, although she thought it was somewhat slower than she had expected.

Anton understood her concern. His progress in solidifying the Spatial Meditation Array in his mind had indeed slowed, and his mastery of the advanced version of his spatial spell was not progressing as quickly as it could have.

He could not help it, though, since he was currently focused on the Diablo II ladder season.

He was not too worried about his lack of progress. Once the season ended, he planned to devote more time to catching up.
