Chapter 457: The Show Begins

The people from Spirit Sword Valley were itching to make a move, wanting to surround and kill him.

But even so, Chu Feng hadn’t forgotten about eradicating the Snow Sword Sect.

In his eyes, this Sect had to be wiped out, especially Xue Fengjian.

Xue Wujian got off easy by dying in the last battle with the Wo Country. Otherwise, Chu Feng would have definitely smashed his damn head in.

“Bring in some food and wine,” Chu Tianshan yelled to those outside.

But no one answered. It was as if no one had heard him.

“Hey, didn’t you hear me?” Chu Tianshan’s temper flared. He walked out and berated the two Foundation Establishment Realm Cultivators at the door.

The two men still ignored him, acting as if they hadn’t heard a thing.

Here in the Southern Venerable Hall, they only listened to the Martial Arts Venerable—which meant they only listened to Chu Feng.

“You two, go to the kitchens and bring some food and wine,” Chu Feng said to them.

“Yes, Venerable Chu Feng.” The two bowed and answered.

Seeing this, Chu Tianshan was so furious he could only glare, his beard bristling with rage.

“It seems my status is completely useless here. It all comes down to you, Venerable Chu Feng.” Chu Tianshan sighed in resignation.

But there was nothing to be done about it. This was the Southern Venerable Hall, after all.

So what if he was at the Martial Arts Peak Realm? If people chose to ignore him, they would.

Though they were merely guards, their Sect also had cultivators at the Martial Arts Peak Realm, and even some at the Martial Arts Limit. As a result, they were quite arrogant deep down.

Soon, someone brought food and wine, and the two began to drink.

They drank until it was past eleven at night, nearly midnight.

The atmosphere was at its most oppressive, because a battle was about to erupt at any moment.

At the foot of Great Snow Mountain, numerous Martial Arts Peak Realm Cultivators emerged from the camps of the Wudang, Kongtong, and Cyan Cloud Sects.

They all headed toward the Big Snow Plateau. Their objective was obvious: they were targeting Blood Blade Manor.

This time, it seemed a great battle was about to break out.

This wouldn’t be like the one-on-one, fair duels on the tournament stage before.

Once this battle began, it would be an all-out melee, a fight to the death.

After all, the Martial Arts Grand Ceremony was over. There were no rules to hold them back.

No one would be deliberately holding back; they would attack with everything they had.

It was rare to see even one cultivator at the Martial Arts Peak Realm, yet now there were so many.

But now, a massive crowd had gathered. In total, there were likely over a hundred of them, perhaps even several hundred.

“Damn, the Wudang Sect is playing for keeps this time. Looks like they’re aiming to utterly destroy their opponents and won’t stop until every last one of them is dead.” At that moment, someone in the Overseas Immortal Mountain camp witnessed this, their eyes wide with astonishment and horror.

“Blood Blade Manor is probably done for this time,” said a man from the Dragon Hall. “The Wudang, Kongtong, and Cyan Cloud Sects all came prepared. They’re destined to be completely wiped out in this encirclement.”

“It’s not just Blood Blade Manor. The Celestial Sword Sect is in the same boat,” another person chimed in. “Spirit Sword Valley has gathered dozens of cultivators from the Martial Arts Peak Realm—fifty-seven, I think—to completely eradicate the entire Celestial Sword Sect.”

“Speaking of the Celestial Sword Sect, that reminds me… isn’t there something strange about those folks from the Netherworld Sect? They seem awfully interested in Chu Feng. I heard one of their Martial Arts Limit experts has even met him,” someone said.

“How do you know all that?” another person asked.

“I was drinking with that Martial Arts Limit expert from the Netherworld Hall a few days ago,” the man from Dragon Hall replied. “Once he had a bit too much to drink, he told me everything. He warned me not to provoke Chu Feng under any circumstances, or I’d face the consequences alone.”

“So, they’re betting on Chu Feng, then? But that kid really is a monster. He’s so young, yet his power is terrifying. I almost wonder if he grew up on steroids or something,” the other person said.

He was utterly shocked by Chu Feng’s Cultivation and strength. To have such combat prowess at such a young age was truly rare.

“This whole situation is definitely not as simple as we think. There’s more to it than meets the eye,” the man from Dragon Hall said with a sneer. “I bet Spirit Sword Valley is out of luck this time. Relying on a bunch of women, they’re bound to be annihilated sooner or later. The idea that they could control the entire Martial Arts Realm with just a few women is laughable.”

“Lord Long, what should we do now?” the person beside him asked.

“We’ll wait and see. Let’s not make any rash moves. It’s not like we have any enemies here, anyway. We’ll just watch the show for now,” the man from Dragon Hall said.

“Our enemies have been dead for who knows how long,” the other person added with a laugh.

“Come on, let’s follow them and watch the show. We’ve got nothing better to do, anyway,” the man from Dragon Hall said with a smile.

“Alright.” The other person followed along.

The two of them laughed heartily, seeming quite pleased with themselves.

Chu Feng and Chu Tianshan had more or less finished drinking. They walked outside together into the night. On Great Snow Mountain, the cold wind howled. It was freezing, probably more than twenty degrees below zero.
