My Mother-in-Law Gifted Me a Building
Chapter 469: I'll Be the Driver
After the helicopter landed at the airport nearest to the Great Snow Mountain, Wang Hong came over to greet them.
“Old Ancestor, Young Master!” Wang Hong was extremely respectful toward Chu Tianshan and Chu Feng.
This was especially true for Chu Feng. He had heard about Chu Feng’s battle achievements, which left him thrilled and full of admiration.
To single-handedly fight dozens of Martial Arts Peak Realm masters—and win, no less, slaughtering them without leaving a single survivor.
Wang Hong himself had just begun to dabble in the Martial Dao, so he naturally understood what kind of existence a Martial Arts Peak Realm master represented.
“Is everything taken care of over here?” Chu Tianshan asked.
“Yes, it’s all handled. Everything, including the Young Master’s rewards, the gold, and all that, has been loaded up,” Wang Hong said with a nod.
“You old geezer, you’ll really take anything, won’t you? Ah, whatever. It’s not like that stuff is any use to me anyway. You all can just take it,” Chu Feng said.
“Don’t worry, I’m just holding it for you. I won’t touch a thing. You can come and get it whenever you want,” Chu Tianshan said with a smile. He was now, one could say, fabulously wealthy. A few tons of gold was nothing to him—just pocket change.
In truth, none of them cared much for these things. They had little use for them in daily life and were simply stockpiling them for a rainy day.
“So, when can we leave?” Chu Feng asked.
“One plane has already departed. Another one will be ready shortly, in about ten minutes or so at most. We can go ahead and board now to wait,” Wang Hong said.
He had arranged every detail with perfect clarity and care.
If the Chu Family disciples had been asked to handle these matters, they surely would have botched it. After all, tasks like this had to be left to the professionals.
“Alright then. Old man, let’s get on board. We’re all heading back together,” Chu Feng said.
“Young Master, Old Ancestor, this is just a cargo plane, so the comfort level might be a little different from the private jets you’re used to. It’ll be a bit rougher. I’m afraid you’ll have to bear with it for about six hours,” Wang Hong said as he led Chu Feng and the others to board.
The aircraft was a temporarily requisitioned cargo plane, and even the seats had been installed just for this trip. It definitely wasn’t as comfortable as their previous private jets.
However, the seats were still much better than what you’d find on a regular plane, comparable to business class. They were spots that had been specially cleared out for them.
As soon as she got on the plane, Su Miaoke fell asleep. She had been worried for most of the night and hadn’t rested, so she was already beyond exhausted.
By noon the next day, the plane had landed. Su Miaoke woke up right around then.
Outside the airport, many Chu Family disciples were already waiting.
Lined up outside were rows of semi-trucks, all there to transport the cargo.
There was also a fleet of luxury cars parked nearby—the same ones Jiang Tao had provided for Chu Feng’s wedding. A portion of them had been given directly to the Chu Family for their use.
The Chu Family disciples had all received the news and were ecstatic. The Chu Family had made a grand show of its power at the Martial Arts Grand Ceremony.
Although they didn’t win the championship, Chu Feng’s heaven-shaking battle had sent shockwaves through the entire Martial Arts Realm.
Who in the Martial Arts Realm didn’t know Chu Feng’s name now?
This was far more impressive than winning a championship, and it brought even greater fame.
And most importantly, the Chu Family had hauled back the entire Snow Sword Sect.
This was a Major Martial Arts Sect! Its entire foundation had been completely plundered. The Chu Family had, to put it mildly, made an absolute killing this time.
“Big Brother!” Chu Wuji was incredibly excited to see Chu Feng.
He admired Chu Feng so much that he had started calling him Big Brother directly.
Seeing Chu Wuji, Chu Feng nodded with a smile and asked, “How did it go? Did you gain any insights from the competition this time?”
“Sigh, of course. I feel like my own strength is still too lacking, I’m way too far behind everyone else. But I heard… Big Brother, did you really fight dozens of Martial Arts Peak Realm masters by yourself and beat the crap out of them? Is that true?”
“And you also took down the entire Snow Sword Sect? Is all this stuff from their headquarters?” Chu Wuji asked in amazement, utterly shocked by this news.
“That’s right. From now on, you won’t have to worry about Cultivation Resources. There’s enough here for many of you to break through to the Martial Arts Peak Realm. You all have to work hard. Once you reach the Martial Arts Peak Realm, your lifespan will increase to at least two hundred years!” Chu Feng said.
“Don’t worry, Big Brother. The Martial Arts Peak Realm is my goal, and I’ll definitely reach it,” Chu Wuji said confidently.
“Chu Feng, let’s go grab a bite to eat. Chu Wuji, you arrange for all this stuff to be transported back to the family. Wang Hong, you’ll be in charge of supervision,” Chu Tianshan said to Chu Wuji and Wang Hong.
He then pulled Chu Feng along to go eat.
“Where are we eating?” Chu Feng asked.
“Young Master, where are you planning to go after you eat? Shall I arrange a driver for you?” Wang Hong asked.
“Yeah, that works. I’m heading back after I eat, so arrange a car and a driver for me,” Chu Feng nodded.
He was planning to head back to his hometown in the countryside after the meal, so he would definitely need a car.
“In that case, allow me to be the Young Master’s driver,” Wang Hong said with a smile.
