Chapter 482: Heading to the Southern Border

"If it’s dangerous, then maybe you shouldn’t go. I’m pregnant right now, and I don’t want anything to happen to you," Su Miaoke said worriedly.

She was pregnant now and didn’t want Chu Feng to do anything risky.

If the worst were to happen, it would be too late for tears.

"Hey, don’t worry about it. I wouldn’t take this risk if I wasn’t completely confident. An old ancestor from the Cloud Mist Sect returned safely, and he wasn’t even as strong as I am. That proves it’s not that dangerous. For me, it most likely won’t be a problem," Chu Feng said reassuringly.

"I don’t care about that. No matter what you do, you must think through your next steps. You need to understand the consequences. The baby and I are here waiting for you at home," Su Miaoke said.

"Okay, okay, okay. Don’t you worry. I know all of this," Chu Feng said.

"So when are you planning to go to the Southern Border?" Su Miaoke asked again.

"I won’t go for now. Let’s talk about it after you give birth," Chu Feng said.

Right now, he didn’t want to get involved in the affairs of the Martial Arts Realm at all. He just wanted to stay home with his wife.

"Oh, come on. I’ll be fine. It’s only been three months, so you don’t have to be with me every single day. Just hurry up and take care of what you need to do. Then you can come back and be with me without any worries, right?" Su Miaoke said.

"Alright then. I’ll make a trip to the Southern Border and come back as soon as I can. But even though you’re not showing yet, I’ll still worry about your safety. After all, I have quite a few enemies," Chu Feng said.

"Heh, are you really afraid someone will come after your wife for revenge?" Su Miaoke asked with a laugh.

"Yes, that’s what I’m worried about. After all, those people aren’t good. They’re capable of anything," Chu Feng said, nodding.

He could leave a Divine Soul Mark on Su Miaoke to protect her in a moment of crisis.

However, the hags from Spirit Sword Valley were crazier than the last. Who knew what kind of dirty tricks they might pull?

This was what worried Chu Feng the most. After all, he had seriously offended Spirit Sword Valley this time.

The situation between them had escalated to a life-or-death struggle.

Back on the Big Snow Plateau, Chu Feng had sworn that he would one day storm Spirit Sword Valley.

"Well, why don’t I go with you? I’m only three months along, so it shouldn’t be a big problem," Su Miaoke said.

"No. You need to stay home and rest for the pregnancy. I’ll contact my master. I’ll be at ease if she’s here with you," Chu Feng said.

"Would your master be willing to come?"

"She will. She mentioned before that she wanted to come and stay here for a while. I’ll call her right now," Chu Feng said.

When they had left the Big Snow Plateau, the Celestial Sword Sect Leader had already said she wanted to come and stay at Chu Feng’s place for a while.

After all, Chu Feng’s Fuhe Village was very close to the tomb of the Heaven-Slaying Sword Emperor, so she could visit it when she had free time.

Chu Feng then took out his phone and dialed the Celestial Sword Sect Leader’s number.

In this day and age, everyone had kept up with the times. Using cell phones made communication much more convenient.

It wasn’t like the old days, when sending a letter could take several days—or for distant places, more than ten days, even a month.

Now, it was much easier. If anything came up, a single phone call was all it took.

The phone rang for a while before the call to the Celestial Sword Sect Leader finally went through.

However, when it connected, the voice on the other end wasn’t the Celestial Sword Sect Leader’s, but Bai Han’s.

Bai Han’s voice, true to her name, was as cold as ice, and she spoke in a frosty tone.

"Senior Sister Bai Han? Where’s Master? I need to speak with her," Chu Feng said.

"Junior Brother Chu Feng? Are you looking for Master?" Bai Han asked.

"Yes. Is Master there?" Chu Feng asked.

"She is. Wait a moment, I’ll go get her now," Bai Han said.

She then hurried off to call the Celestial Sword Sect Leader.

The Celestial Sword Sect Leader had probably gone to her Cultivation, which was why Bai Han had her phone and answered the call.

About two minutes later, the Celestial Sword Sect Leader’s voice came through.

"Xiao Feng, is that you? What made you think to call your master?" the Celestial Sword Sect Leader asked with a laugh.

"I was just missing you, Master. I wanted to invite you over to relax and have some fun for a while. I was wondering if you were free?" Chu Feng asked.

"You little rascal, you need to leave for something, don’t you? Is that why you want me to come over and look after your family?" The Celestial Sword Sect Leader had already seen through Chu Feng’s intentions.

"You’re as brilliant as ever, Master, guessing it right away. You’re right. I have to leave for a trip to the Southern Border, so I need you to help look after my family. I’m worried those people from Spirit Sword Valley will try to retaliate," Chu Feng said.

"The Southern Border? Why on earth would you go there?" the Celestial Sword Sect Leader asked, a puzzled expression on her face.

She didn’t understand and had no idea what Chu Feng was planning to do there.

"Back during the Martial Arts Grand Ceremony, someone from the Netherworld Sect found me and invited me to the Southern Border. It’s been over a month now, so I should probably go check it out," Chu Feng said.
