“Alright, but you have to be careful. I hear there are a lot of beautiful women in the Southern Border, you know. You’d better remember this: if you dare to fool around out there, I definitely won’t let you off easy.” Su Miaoke made a fist and shook it in front of Chu Feng.

“Hahaha, you can rest assured about that. I won’t have any interest in other girls. Right now, you’re the only one who’s caught my eye,” Chu Feng said with a laugh.

“Hmph, is that so?” Su Miaoke asked.

“You’ve seen it for yourself, haven’t you? At the Celestial Sword Sect, and during the Martial Arts Grand Ceremony, there were so many beautiful women. Did you ever see me give any of them a second glance? I simply can’t muster any interest in anyone else. You really don’t have to worry,” Chu Feng said.

“Hmph. It’s a good thing I married you early. Otherwise, you probably would’ve long been infatuated with Senior Sister Bai Xue or Senior Sister Bai Han, or even some of the other female disciples from the sects,” Su Miaoke said, rolling her eyes at Chu Feng as a hint of jealousy surfaced.

“Okay, okay, okay, let’s not talk about this anymore. Once we start, it’ll never end. You need to take good care of yourself while I’m gone. You can also do some Cultivation when you have time; it’ll be good for your body. I’m heading out now.” Chu Feng hurriedly grabbed his things and left.

If he didn’t leave now, Chu Feng felt he might just drown in all that jealousy.

“Alright. You have to take care of yourself on the road. Be safe,” Su Miaoke said.

“Okay, I’m off. Just let Mom and Dad know for me. I won’t say goodbye to them directly, so they don’t worry,” Chu Feng said.

Then, Chu Feng went straight downstairs, got in his car in the garage, and drove off.

Chu Feng had originally intended to take a plane, but on second thought, he decided it wasn’t necessary. He could just drive. It would be a good chance to relax and enjoy the scenery along the way.

The Netherworld Sect had a bit of a shared history with another group that went by the same name. This second group, however, was far more mysterious and powerful.

Originally, according to what the Seven Kills Sword Master had said, that more powerful Netherworld Sect was supposed to attend the Martial Arts Grand Ceremony. But in the end, only the other one showed up; the more powerful one didn’t come at all.

It was also possible that because one Netherworld Sect appeared, the other chose not to.

The Netherworld Sect was located in a remote city in the Southern Border. A thick fog shrouded the area year-round, and the sky was often a dusky gray. The sun rarely shone brightly, giving the place a feeling much like the Netherworld itself.

At night, especially, absolutely no one could be seen in the vicinity. It was terrifyingly silent.

Chu Feng drove his car, meandering leisurely toward the Netherworld Sect’s location.

The area was filled with towering mountains and steep ranges. It felt like he had entered a deep mountain wilderness, an endless sea of peaks that seemed impossible to escape.

And Chu Feng’s destination was a small county town: Netherworld.

This small county town was the headquarters of the Netherworld Sect.

By the time Chu Feng reached a small town in the area, it was already approaching dusk. Although the sky stayed light later in the summer, it was nearly five o’clock.

After driving all day, Chu Feng was famished. He found a place to eat and filled his stomach.

With a full stomach, he set off again, heading for his destination: Netherworld.

The drive from this small town to Netherworld would take about another hour. The distance was considerable, and more importantly, there were barely any other cars on these roads.

Even when he did see one, the vehicle would be speeding, giving the impression that its driver was trying to escape this stretch of road.

This was especially true as dusk deepened. The fiery red sunset reflected across the land, dyeing the ground in a crimson glow.

‘This place is so damn creepy,’ Chu Feng muttered. ‘A normal guy would probably be scared out of his mind. It really is just like the Netherworld.’

He, however, wasn’t the least bit afraid. With his power and Divine Soul Strength, even if there really were such *things* around, he could eliminate them in a single move.

Based on his perception of his current power and condition, he was virtually invincible. Therefore, he had nothing to fear.

Around here, it was said that the streets were only busy in the morning. By four or five in the afternoon, you basically couldn’t see a soul.

This city was actually quite famous online. Many tourists would come from all over just to “check in” here.

When Chu Feng arrived in Netherworld City, there were even fewer people around. With dusk falling, darkness began to envelop the land.

A strange, eerie atmosphere instantly washed over him, filling one’s heart with a heavy sense of foreboding and an inexplicable fear.

Chu Feng found a place to park and walked toward a building up ahead. During the day, it probably looked like a tourist attraction.

But seen at night, it was a completely different picture.

“This place really has some atmosphere,” Chu Feng said with a smile. “If you dropped a six-foot-tall tough guy here in the middle of the night, he’d probably be scared stiff.”

But he wasn’t afraid in the slightest. On the contrary, he remained as calm and composed as ever, completely at ease.

Just as he was about to walk forward, a bone-chilling voice suddenly rang out.

“Who goes there? Who dares trespass into the Netherworld!” The voice was utterly bizarre and enough to make one’s blood run cold.
