Chapter 130: Lunar Wolf King

The battle began as the man and his remaining men fought back against the monsters.

There were only three men left besides him, and all of them were already seriously injured. Their bodies were covered in wounds, and they were struggling to keep standing.

They continued fighting, but it did not take long before the monsters overwhelmed them.

One of the Frost Trolls knocked a man to the ground while several Arctic Wolves surrounded another. The remaining adventurers tried to help each other, but they were too exhausted to break through the monsters.

The leader swung his weapon at an approaching Frost Goblin and killed it, but another monster immediately attacked him from the side.

He barely managed to block the attack before a Frost Troll struck him with its massive fist.

The man was thrown to the ground.

He tried to stand up, but his body refused to move properly.

The Lunar Wolf King slowly walked toward him.

The man looked up and saw the massive wolf standing directly in front of him.

He tried to raise his weapon, but he no longer had the strength to fight.

The Lunar Wolf King opened its mouth and moved toward his head.

Just before it could bite him, something suddenly happened.

Blood from the fallen monsters and the dead adventurers began moving across the ground.

The blood gathered together and formed several long strands that shot toward the Lunar Wolf King.

The blood wrapped tightly around its body and stopped it in place.

The man stared at the scene in confusion.

"What...?"

He then turned his head and saw a beautiful woman standing nearby.

Her presence was calm, but there was something dangerous about her.

Selene stood there with one hand raised, controlling the blood that had covered the battlefield.

The blood continued wrapping around the Lunar Wolf King, completely restraining its movements.

"Don’t worry. You’re safe now."

Selene then looked toward the other injured adventurers.

More blood rose from the ground and formed around the monsters, keeping them away from the survivors.

The man looked at Selene in surprise.

"Who are you..."

Before he could say anything else, Rachel moved forward.

She quickly approached the injured adventurers and raised her hand.

A warm light spread from her body and covered the wounded men.

Their wounds began closing one after another.

Broken bones were restored, deep cuts disappeared, and their exhaustion slowly faded.

The man looked at his previously injured body in disbelief.

Rachel continued healing the others until all of them were out of immediate danger.

"Your wounds have been treated," Rachel said. "You should be fine now, but try not to move too much."

The man slowly stood up and looked between Selene and Rachel.

He still could not believe that they had been saved so easily.

Meanwhile, the Lunar Wolf King continued struggling against Selene’s Blood Manipulation.

Selene looked at the restrained monster calmly.

"Interesting. You’re stronger than the others."

Kaiser and Marina soon arrived behind her.

Kaiser looked at the battlefield and then at the survivors.

"It looks like we arrived just in time."

The man quickly turned toward Kaiser.

"You are the ones who came to save us?"

Kaiser nodded.

"Yes. Your wife came looking for help. We found her and the children earlier."

The man’s eyes widened when he heard that.

"My wife... Is she safe?"

"Yes. Garuk is protecting her and the children."

The man finally relaxed after hearing those words.

"Thank goodness."

Kaiser then looked toward the Lunar Wolf King.

"So this is the monster that attacked your caravan."

The man nodded.

"Yes. That beast suddenly appeared with the other monsters. It was the strongest among them."

Kaiser looked at the Lunar Wolf King with interest.

"Then let’s deal with it first."

Kaiser walked toward the restrained Lunar Wolf King while Selene continued holding it in place with her Blood Manipulation.

The massive wolf growled and struggled against the blood wrapped around its body, but it could not break free.

Kaiser looked at it carefully.

"It really is different from the other Arctic Wolves."

The Lunar Wolf King had a much larger body and a stronger aura than the other wolves. Its eyes also showed a level of intelligence that ordinary monsters did not possess.

Marina looked at it with curiosity.

"Is it very strong?"

"Probably," Kaiser replied. "It is a rare anomaly, so it should be much stronger than an ordinary Arctic Wolf."

Kaiser had studied the monsters that could be found in these mountains. Among them, there were six known anomalies that appeared only once every hundred years.

The Lunar Wolf King was one of them.

Many people had tried to discover the reason behind its unusual birth, but no one had been able to find a definite explanation. It was simply an anomaly that appeared once every hundred years without any known reason behind its existence.

The same was true for the other anomalies.

Among the Frost Goblins, a Glacier Goblin could occasionally be born. It was an anomaly that was around ten times stronger than an ordinary Frost Goblin.

There was also the Blue Thunder Troll, an anomaly born from the Frost Troll species. Unlike ordinary Frost Trolls, it possessed both ice and lightning powers.

The remaining three anomalies came from the Dread Blue Bears, Ice Mountain High Orcs, and Frozen Silk Spiders.

Kaiser then opened his Cosmic Sheet and checked the monster’s information.

The moment he saw its status, his expression became slightly interested.

"It is actually a Unique-Class monster."

The man nodded.

"Unlike Arctic Wolves, which are barely considered rare-rank monsters, the Lunar Wolf King is born with ten percent of the Fenrir bloodline. That’s why it is so powerful."

Kaiser nodded after hearing his explanation.

The Lunar Wolf King suddenly opened its mouth and released a powerful howl.

The surrounding Arctic Wolves immediately reacted and started moving toward Kaiser and the others.

Selene calmly raised her hand.

Blood rose from the ground and quickly formed several sharp spears.

The blood spears shot toward the approaching wolves and pierced through their bodies.

One after another, the Arctic Wolves fell to the ground.

The remaining wolves immediately stopped and backed away after seeing their companions being killed so easily.

Kaiser looked at Selene.

"You don’t have to kill all of them."

Selene nodded.

"Understood."

She then tightened her control over the blood binding the Lunar Wolf King.

The monster was forced down onto the snowy ground.

Kaiser walked closer and looked directly into its eyes.

The Lunar Wolf King growled at him.

"You have quite a temper."

Kaiser had already decided to tame it.

If he used Reconstruction on the Lunar Wolf King, he could potentially raise it to Legendary Grade. This would allow him to gain a powerful new companion while also obtaining an additional Pet Slot.

Kaiser placed his hand on top of the Lunar Wolf King’s head and activated Reconstruction.

Golden light immediately flooded the wolf’s body.

Kaiser watched the process calmly before looking toward Selene.

Selene understood his intention and smiled.

She raised her hand, and blood suddenly rushed toward the rescued adventurers.

The blood struck the men on the head, knocking them unconscious.

Kaiser did not want the adventurers to see him using his abilities, so he decided to make sure they were unconscious before continuing.

The golden light around the Lunar Wolf King became brighter.

A moment later, several notifications appeared in front of Kaiser.
