Chapter 131: Lunar Wolf Emperor

The golden light slowly faded from the Lunar Wolf King’s body.

Its appearance had changed significantly.

Its body was now larger and more muscular, while its white fur had become even thicker. A faint silver glow surrounded its body, and its eyes had become much sharper.

The Lunar Wolf King slowly stood up and looked at Kaiser.

The hostility in its eyes had disappeared.

Instead, it looked at him calmly.

Kaiser checked its status again and nodded with satisfaction.

"Looks like the evolution was successful."

The Lunar Wolf King lowered its head toward Kaiser.

Kaiser placed his hand on its head.

"From now on, your name will be Luna."

The Lunar Wolf Emperor looked at him for a moment before giving a low growl.

Kaiser understood that it had accepted the name.

"Good."

He then opened his Cosmic Sheet and checked his Pet Slots.

The additional slot had already appeared.

Kaiser nodded.

"Nature Charm really is useful."

Marina looked at the Lunar Wolf Emperor.

"It became even more beautiful."

"Yes," Kaiser replied. "Its bloodline already had great potential. Reconstruction simply helped it evolve that potential, which naturally improved its appearance as well."

Rachel looked at Luna with interest.

"Then it should be much stronger now."

"It is," Kaiser said. "Its strength should be completely different from before."

Selene released her Blood Manipulation, allowing the remaining blood to fall onto the snow.

The surviving Arctic Wolves had already begun retreating.

Kaiser glanced at them.

"Let them go."

Selene nodded.

The wolves quickly disappeared into the forest.

Kaiser then looked at Luna.

"You can return to your Pet Space for now."

Luna gave Kaiser a final look before its massive body turned into a faint light and disappeared into his Pet Space.

Kaiser then turned toward the rescued adventurers.

They were still unconscious because of Selene’s Blood Manipulation.

Rachel walked over and checked their condition.

"They are fine. They should wake up soon."

Kaiser nodded.

"Good. Wake them up."

Rachel stepped forward and used a small amount of healing energy to bring the adventurers back to consciousness.

The caravan leader slowly opened his eyes.

He looked around in confusion before remembering what had happened.

He quickly looked toward the battlefield.

"Where is the monster?"

"It has been dealt with," Kaiser replied.

The man looked around carefully.

"Did the wolf escape?"

Kaiser simply nodded.

"Yes."

The man looked relieved for a moment before glancing toward Kaiser.

Kaiser continued calmly.

"He is quite intelligent. After realizing he couldn’t win, he ran away."

The man thought about it for a moment before nodding.

"I see."

Kaiser then looked toward the direction where the woman and children were waiting.

"Let’s go back. Your wife is waiting."

The man’s expression immediately changed.

"My family..."

"They are safe," Kaiser said. "Garuk is protecting them."

The man quickly stood up.

"Then please take me to them."

Kaiser nodded.

"Let’s go."

However, before leaving, the man looked toward the battlefield.

The bodies of his comrades were still lying across the snow.

His expression became heavy.

He walked over to their bodies one by one and carefully placed them into his storage item.

The other three surviving adventurers also helped him collect the bodies of their fallen comrades.

None of them said anything.

They had lost most of their group, and the mood remained heavy as they gathered the bodies.

After they finished, the man looked toward Kaiser.

"We can go now."

Kaiser nodded.

The group began walking back through the snowy forest.

Kaiser, Marina, Selene, and Rachel led the way while the caravan leader and the other surviving adventurers followed behind.

After walking for several minutes, they finally reached the place where the woman and her children were waiting.

The moment the woman saw her husband, she immediately ran toward him.

"You’re alive!"

The man quickly embraced her.

"I’m fine. They saved me."

The woman held onto him tightly, tears filling her eyes.

She had clearly been worried that she would never see him again.

After calming down, she looked toward Kaiser and the others and bowed deeply.

"Thank you for saving my husband."

Kaiser waved his hand.

"It’s fine. We just happened to be nearby."

The woman then looked around.

"Where is the wolf?"

"It escaped," Kaiser replied.

She nodded slowly.

"I see."

The man looked at his wife and children before turning toward Kaiser.

"Thank you again. Without you, none of us would have survived."

Kaiser simply nodded.

"You should leave this place as soon as possible. The mountain is too dangerous."

The man agreed.

"Yes. We will."

Kaiser and the others then escorted the family and the remaining adventurers back toward Winter Hold City.

The journey was mostly quiet.

The surviving adventurers remained silent, still grieving for their fallen comrades, while the woman stayed close to her husband and children.

After some time, the walls of Winter Hold City finally appeared in the distance.

Once they reached the city, the caravan leader and his family thanked Kaiser and the others once again before heading into the city.

Kaiser watched them leave for a moment before turning toward the mountains.

"Let’s go."

Marina nodded.

"Yes."

Kaiser, Marina, Selene, and Rachel then left Winter Hold City and returned toward the mountains.

The four of them continued deeper into the mountains.

The moment they entered the snowy forest again, Kaiser released several assassin-type undead.

"Spread out and search the area. Report immediately if you find any strong monsters."

The undead nodded and disappeared between the trees.

Kaiser then continued walking with Marina, Selene, and Rachel.

Since Michael and Emilia were still undergoing their Rank-Up Trials, Kaiser had decided to spend the time leveling himself and his undead army.

He glanced at the snow-covered surroundings.

"We should find another large monster group."

Marina nodded.

"Do you want me to search for them with you?"

"No need. The assassins will find them faster."

As they continued forward, several system notifications suddenly appeared in Kaiser’s mind.

[Your undead have defeated Frost Goblin.]

[You have gained experience.]

[Your undead have defeated Frost Hobgoblin.]

[You have gained experience.]

[Your undead have defeated Arctic Wolf.]

[You have gained experience.]

Kaiser ignored the notifications and continued walking.

With thousands of undead spread throughout the mountains, his experience was increasing constantly.
