My Reconstruction Talent is too OP!!!
Chapter 221: Powerful Skill
Kaiser dismissed the system interface and lay down on his bed.
Although he was tired, sleep didn’t come easily. His mind kept returning to the newly created Wisdom Devourer skill and the possibilities it offered.
’If this skill works as I expect, it could significantly speed up my comprehension.’
He was particularly curious about how many Wisdom Points he could obtain from powerful, intelligent beings and how much those points would help him improve his abilities.
However, there was no point in rushing out in the middle of the night just to test it.
’I have plenty of opportunities ahead. There’s no need to be impatient.’
With that thought, Kaiser finally closed his eyes and went to sleep.
The following day passed without anything unusual happening. He attended his classes, completed his regular training, and spent some time practicing his Rule of Shattered Soul.
Whenever he had free time, he also experimented with Minor Vibration Manipulation. He had noticed that the skill worked particularly well alongside his Rule of Shattered Soul, so he wanted to become more familiar with its applications. Although his control was still limited, he was slowly making progress.
As for Wisdom Devourer, he decided to wait until he had a suitable opportunity to test it.
Since the Academy organized dungeon expeditions only once a week, there was no expedition scheduled for that day. The students spent their time attending regular classes and training under their instructors.
Before long, the Academy’s activities came to an end, and Kaiser returned home.
He spent the rest of the afternoon resting before making his preparations for the evening. Once everything was ready, he left the house and hired a cab to take him to the Northern Frostland Orc Cave.
’Today, I’ll finally get to test Wisdom Devourer.’
A faint smile appeared on his face as he thought about the skill.
The Northern Frostland Orc Cave was a Rank 3 dungeon inhabited by Frostland Orcs. Unlike ordinary monsters, these Orcs possessed considerable intelligence. They could communicate with one another, organize their forces, and use various combat techniques. Some were even capable of commanding other Orcs during battles.
It was exactly the kind of place Kaiser needed.
’Intelligent monsters, powerful bodies, and plenty of potential targets. This is perfect.’
"I’m also getting close to Level 300. If I hunt these Orcs, I can gain experience and Wisdom Points at the same time," he muttered while looking out of the cab window.
The journey didn’t take long.
Soon, the cab stopped near the dungeon entrance. Kaiser paid the driver and stepped out, looking toward the massive cave entrance ahead.
A stone tablet stood nearby, displaying information about the dungeon. Several other adventurers were also gathered around the entrance, preparing to enter.
Kaiser glanced at the tablet once before turning his attention toward the cave.
’Let’s see how many Wisdom Points these Orcs can give me.’
With a faint smile, he walked toward the entrance and stepped inside the Northern Frostland Orc Cave.
The moment Kaiser entered the dungeon, the environment around him changed.
A cold breeze brushed against his face, carrying the faint smell of snow and damp earth. The cave extended deep into the ground, with thick layers of frost covering its walls and ceiling. Strange blue crystals embedded in the rocks provided enough light to illuminate the surrounding area.
Kaiser looked around as he walked further inside.
Unlike ordinary monster dungeons, the Northern Frostland Orc Cave was filled with traces of organized activity. There were footprints of different sizes across the frozen ground, along with broken weapons and scattered pieces of armor.
’These Orcs seem to have established their own territory inside the dungeon.’
He continued forward, keeping his senses alert.
The Frostland Orcs were considerably stronger than ordinary monsters. Apart from their powerful bodies, they possessed various skills and combat techniques that they had developed through countless battles.
Some of their techniques even resembled Lesser Arts.
Of course, that didn’t mean they were weak imitations. Although they lacked the depth and complexity of actual Arts, these techniques were still extremely powerful and could pose a serious threat to adventurers.
As Kaiser examined the surroundings, the Akashic System suddenly spoke.
[Pity. Such a fine land has been reduced to this.]
Kaiser raised an eyebrow.
’What do you mean?’
[The dungeons and their realms are nothing but fragments of former worlds that have been destroyed.]
Kaiser stopped walking for a moment.
’Fragments of destroyed worlds?’
[Correct. When a world is destroyed, some of its fragments can become detached and attach themselves to other worlds. This allows them to preserve their existence to some extent.]
[One could say that these places are nothing more than the lingering remnants of worlds that no longer exist.]
Kaiser looked around the frozen cave with a thoughtful expression.
’So this entire dungeon was once part of an actual world?’
[Indeed. The creatures inhabiting these places are also remnants of those worlds. Some continue to exist through their lingering instincts, while others retain fragments of their former memories and intelligence.]
Kaiser glanced at the frost-covered walls again.
He had always considered dungeons to be mysterious spaces filled with monsters and treasures. He had never imagined that some of them were actually remnants of destroyed worlds.
’Then the Frostland Orcs might have once been inhabitants of an actual world.’
[That is possible.]
Kaiser fell silent for a moment before continuing deeper into the cave.
’That’s certainly interesting. But I suppose it doesn’t change what I came here to do.’
A faint smile appeared on his face.
After all, he hadn’t come here to investigate the origins of the dungeon.
He had come to test Wisdom Devourer.
Kaiser continued deeper into the cave, carefully observing his surroundings.
He hadn’t walked for long when he noticed several large footprints on the frozen ground.
’Looks like I’ve found my first targets.’
He followed the footprints for a while until he heard several voices coming from ahead.
"Bring the food here! The patrol will return soon."
"Don’t worry. There is enough meat for everyone."
Kaiser slowed down and approached the source of the voices.
Soon, he reached a large opening inside the cave.
Around ten Frostland Orcs were gathered there. Most of them were sitting around a fire, while a few others were sharpening their weapons and checking their equipment.
