Chapter 1095 - 1098: I Like Those Who Can Have Children

"Melody, we’re here to find the painting. I think you were too impulsive today. If that Ethan Knight had someone throw you into the shark tank, wouldn’t you end up like that woman?" Chloe Summers still felt a chill thinking about it.

She turned around, and Melody Thorne was in a daze.

"Melody, Melody."

"Huh?" Melody Thorne snapped back to reality.

"What are you thinking about?"

"I was thinking about the photos I saw while tidying up Ethan Knight’s room today. I think I know why he hates women so much. Do you know? I saw many of his young photos in his room, and then he was played by some women!"

"No way? Who would dare?" Chloe Summers sat down as well. "Leon Rivers said Ethan Knight took over this place before he turned twenty, not to mention how ruthless he was before!"

"Those are photos from before he took over the place!"

There was a knock on the room door, and a man walked in, pointing at Melody Thorne. "You, pack up and leave this house!"

"Why does she have to leave?" Chloe Summers stood up.

"It’s none of your business. Mr. Ethan said she should move over there!"

Chloe Summers: "..."

Melody Thorne, you’re a married woman, won’t you turn Ethan Knight around? That’s terrifying!!!

Melody Thorne hugged the quilt and followed the bodyguard to Ethan Knight’s place.

The bodyguard casually pointed to the floor. "From now on, you can lay out a mat and sleep here once Mr. Ethan falls asleep!"

Ethan Knight came back in after finishing up work outside, and Melody Thorne hadn’t slept at all the night before. Succumbing to drowsiness, she placed the quilt on the floor and leaned against the wall to sleep.
