Chapter 1096 - 1099: What Are You Doing?

Ethan Knight’s large hand grabbed the paper and pen from her hand and threw them to the ground!

Walking past the back garden was a glass room where Melody Thorne saw a woman in childbirth; she was the only one in the entire glass room, in agony, as the baby was about to be born.

"Look carefully, that’s the ’creature’ you like!" Ethan Knight pointed at the scene inside as if watching a mother monkey give birth at the zoo.

Melody Thorne, a woman who despised how men looked down on women, wrote a sentence on a cardboard to remind Ethan Knight.

"You came from there too!"

Ethan Knight’s charming gaze turned sharp: "Dare you say that again?"

"Isn’t it true?" Melody Thorne wrote again: "Then please explain how you came into being?"

Ethan Knight’s eyes nearly killed her with fury.

Melody Thorne calmly pointed at the scene inside the glass room. Between the pregnant woman’s legs, a tiny baby’s head had appeared, silently telling Ethan Knight that this too was how he came into the world.

Ethan Knight looked at the odd scene, his eyes blood-red ready to bleed.

"What are you doing? What are you doing? Don’t come over, please don’t touch my child," the woman screamed in terror.

Melody Thorne walked over, bent down slightly, whispered something in her ear, and pointed in Ethan Knight’s direction. The woman couldn’t believe what she heard, slowly coming to believe her.

"Relax, I will help you deliver your baby safely,"

The woman’s belly contracted in spasms of pain again.

Melody Thorne walked over, bent down. When she’d lost her memory, she’d studied some medical techniques and had inadvertently learned how to deliver a child.

In a little over ten minutes, the baby was born safely, and Melody Thorne carefully wrapped him up, gently placing him by the woman’s side, stained with blood.

Walking out, Ethan Knight was still standing outside, watching her series of strange actions— a man openly bending over a woman’s legs to help deliver a baby!!!

Picking up the cardboard, Melody Thorne wrote a few more words: "Please find a doctor for this child. He’s somewhat weak. I implore you; this is the little life I saved. I don’t want him to die."

Ethan Knight’s face, beautiful enough to rival a woman’s, was so gloomy it could almost drip water as he turned and walked away!

Melody Thorne casually pulled a servant and wrote, "Ethan Knight asked you to find a doctor to take good care of the woman and child inside."

"Yes."

Melody Thorne, in a good mood, followed Ethan Knight, and after a day had passed, she had six days left.

Returning to the bedroom on the second floor, Melody Thorne spread the blanket on the floor and sat down. She had never slept on such a hard bed before, but this was a good opportunity. If she could trick the man before her, it’d be great.
