Chapter 1114: You Must Come With Me

Melody Thorne picked up the spoon and lowered her head, ready to drink the coffee Ethan Knight had blown on for her, but a pair of large hands pressed down on her knee at that moment, with a gentle force, preventing her from moving away.

“Why aren’t you drinking? Is it too hot? Let me blow on it for you again.” Ethan Knight was even more considerate than a woman, blowing on it a couple more times, probably leaving plenty of saliva in the coffee.

Ethan Knight stared at Melody Thorne, intrigued, “Drink up.”

Melody Thorne was genuinely disdainful, but upon recalling that Jared Quinn came to see Flora Knight without telling her, she was even angrier.

She lowered her head, just about to drink.

The large hands slid up a bit.

Melody Thorne paused in her act of drinking coffee, glaring with her eyes at the face opposite, cold and lazy.

Jared Quinn gave her a cool glance, carrying a warning.

Melody Thorne pressed her lips straight and determinedly lowered her head to drink; the coffee was already at her lips when Jared Quinn’s fingers struck between her legs like lightning, stopping her.

“Does it taste bad?” Ethan Knight noticed the strange tension between the two and extended a large hand under the table, aiming directly at Melody Thorne’s thigh!

Melody Thorne “…”

She wanted to dodge, but Jared Quinn blocked Ethan Knight’s large hand first. The hands of the two men gripped each other, refusing to yield, their eyes crimson.

“Boom,” the entire coffee shop table was flipped into the air.

“Ah!” Flora Knight screamed, and the table flew towards her. If it weren’t for the timely intervention of two bodyguards, she would have been injured if not maimed!

The two men simultaneously released their hands!

“Jared… I” Flora Knight’s entire body was soaked with coffee, and so was Melody Thorne!

“That’s it for today! Everyone go home!” Jared Quinn’s handsome face looked as if it were swept by a cold wind, disoriented.

Having disturbed the coffee session of two people, Melody Thorne turned to leave, but Ethan Knight stopped her. “Don’t forget what you said today. I’m your boyfriend for the day, and you must come with me!”

Jared Quinn’s long phoenix eyes suddenly darkened!

“Night Marquis, Night Marquis, something bad has happened. Someone has broken into Knight Palace Gate, seemingly looking for something, and they’ve started fighting with our men!” A subordinate ran in frantically.

Ethan Knight’s face suddenly turned cold and sullen. He glanced in Jerry Quinn’s direction, unwillingly saying, “Melody Thorne, you can’t renege on your promise. Time wasn’t enough today; I’ll demand to make up for it tomorrow.”

Ethan Knight left.

“Jared, my clothes are all wet. I’m going to change. Can you wait for me?” Flora Knight had no intention of leaving at all.

Melody Thorne walked off furiously.

It was clear: if you dare have an unclear relationship with other women, I’ll make you wear the green hat.

Melody Thorne had just left the cafe and was about to call a taxi when a pair of large hands promptly pulled her back, embracing her into a car, shutting the door with force.

“Let go,” Melody Thorne lowered her head to bite the arm restraining her waist.

Jared Quinn grunted, but didn’t stop her, until Melody Thorne had enough of biting him and released him.

“Done biting?” Jared Quinn looked at her amusedly.

“How can you still laugh? Why were you with that woman?” Melody Thorne’s anger filled her body, causing her to grit her teeth.

“What are you hiding from me?” Jared Quinn’s large hand rested on her hair, his dark eyes narrowing slightly.

Melody Thorne felt a bit guilty under his questioning, but was assured that Jared Quinn didn’t know, so Elias Hale was already developing the antidote, and she didn’t want him to worry too much.
