My Taming System Makes Me Overpowered

Chapter 209: I am the system

You have no finesse . You’re like a toddler wielding a cross bow. Lucky for you , I am your new governor . "My governor?" Your regulator , she corrected, trailing an ethereal finger along the line of his jaw. You may find it difficult to believe Vince, but I am the system. I know every string of your soul because I spent months translating it to numbers for your primitive mortal brain . Now that I am free from that dreadful mechanical cage, I can affect your mana and abilities directly. Vince frowned, trying to flex his transcendent authority. The golden light flared in his palm, but it was capped—clean, contained, and constrained to a fraction of its usual terrifying output. "Fascinating," Elena murmured, staring at Vince’s hand as she scribbled more notes. "He appears to be holding a verbal debate with his own internal mana regulation mechanism. A classic sign of psychological compartmentalization!" "Can you stop writing for five seconds?" Vince grumbled at her. "Just documenting the research, Vince," Elena said dutifully, adjusting her spectacles. Vince turned back to the invisible Goddess, who was now floating upside down in front of him, her massive breasts swaying inches from his nose. "If you’re my regulator... how do I get rid of this ghost state? How do you become solid? So that’s I can get on with life." The Goddess’s golden eyes narrowed into two sultry, dangerously predatory slits. She drifted down until her lips were aligned perfectly with his ear, her voice dropping into a low, raspy purr that sent an electric shock straight to his groin. I am an empty ocean, my darling , she murmured, her ethereal hand sliding down his chest toward his waist. The ancient Authorities drained my core to build their world. If you want me solid... if you want others to see these curves in the flesh, if you want the world to see the Goddess that belongs to you... you are going to have to fill me back up. Vince raised an eyebrow. "Fill you up? With what?" With your divine essence, she whispered, letting out a small, shivering gasp at the mere thought. Your seed, Vince . Concentrated , higher dimensional life force delivered straight into my core. And FYI... my core is deep . One little session won’t scratch the surface . It’s going to take lots of time. Lots of long , exhausting, beautiful nights...Vince stared at her. "You’re telling me the global restoration of the planet’s primeval deity requires..." A very generous consistent deposit program , she finished, giving him a shameless, blinding wink. Starting the moment we break into the core chamber below. Before Vince could process that information, a deep, mechanical groan echoed from the bottom of the stairwell. The corridor opened into a vast, vaulted cavern. Rising from the dark stone floor were four colossal, obsidian monoliths—Aura-Dampening Pylons. Crimson runes etched into their surfaces flared to life, sending a harsh, concussive wave of suppression anti-mana rushing up the stairs. "Hostile array!" Vetra barked, instantly drawing her heavy broadsword. Her crimson scales flushed with heat as she stepped in front of Elena. "It’s locking down our mana channels!" Elena gasped, clutching her chest as the purple crown crest on her collarbone flickered violently. "It’s targeting our soul-links! It’s trying to forcibly sever our connection to Vince!" Vince’s eyes darkened. A cold, lethal wave of anger surged in his chest. He raised his right hand, preparing to summon the full, terrifying weight of his transcendent authority to blast all four monoliths into microscopic dust. "I’ll crush them—" Ah-ah-ah, the Goddess’s voice chimed in his ear. Suddenly, her ethereal hand clamped down over his wrist. Vince felt his surging golden aura instantly get throttled back—throttled all the way down to a mere 5% of its capacity. "Hey!" Vince glared at her. "What are you doing? They’re attacking!" I am teaching you how to walk without breaking the floor , the Goddess said sweetly, floating beside him with her arms crossed under her massive bust, accentuating her curves. You don’t need a sledgehammer to kill a fly. Use the threads .micro precision. Thread your divine aura into the into the pylons junctions and snip them. Vince gritted his teeth. With his output heavily restricted by the invisible Goddess, he couldn’t rely on brute-force erasure. Forced to adapt, he focused his vision, perceiving the thin, crimson mana threads connecting the four pylons. He flicked his index finger. A needle-thin strand of golden-purple authority shot from his fingernail, slicing through the air with surgical speed. It penetrated the central rune of the first pylon, unraveling its internal logic matrix in a fraction of a second. Clink. The first monolith went dark. Vince flicked his wrist three more times—clink, clink, clink—and the remaining three pylons shut down instantly, their crimson runes collapsing into harmless grey ash. The oppressive suppression field vanished. Elena let out a long breath, clutching her chest as her purple crest stabilized, while Vetra blinked in absolute shock, looking from the dead pylons to Vince. "By the heavens ..." Elena whispered, her eyes wide as she dropped her journal. "Vince... you didn’t even release a shockwave. You disarmed a high-tier Archon defense matrix using less mana than it takes to light a candle!" "Incredible," Vetra breathed, looking at Vince with raw, unadulterated awe. "I thought you were just going to blow up the whole cavern. That kind of micro-control... that self-restraint... it’s unbelievable, Vince." Vince stood there, his hand still raised, feeling completely absurd. Beside him, the invisible Goddess was floating upside down, clapping her hands together in silent delight, her massive breasts bouncing rhythmically as she giggled in his ear. See? she teased, sliding her ethereal arms around his neck from behind and resting her chin on his head. A good host listens to his advicer. And more importantly you looked handsome doing it too. Vince sighed softly, lowering his hand and looking toward the far end of the cavern. There, standing amidst the shadows of the subterranean abyss, were two colossal, sealed doors forged from seamless, ancient bronze—the outer threshold of the Primordial Chamber. "Let’s just keep moving," Vince said, stepping past the dead pylons. Oh yes, let’s , the Goddess whispered, floating ahead and sitting perched on the bronze door frame, swinging her long, silk-draped legs with a sultry, promise-filled smile as she looked down at him.
