My Three Babies Have Different Fathers
Chapter 53: Can you handle him, Kevin?
"What do you mean? Wouldn’t it be better to bring Kevin along to hack their system instead of me?" Sean asked.
Dion smiled faintly. "The person controlling their business systems is far better than Kevin, your brother. Perhaps even better than your teacher."
Sean, Kevin, and Zahn immediately furrowed their brows at Dion’s words.
"The person who locked down Karua City’s systems last night. The person protecting information about your mother’s former lover’s future fiancée," Dion Sexa continued. "Can you handle him, Kevin?"
Kevin clenched his fingers tightly but did not say a single word.
"That’s the fact. If I bring Kevin, we’ll only provoke that person into being far more cautious than before. He might even hide Hana more deeply than he already has."
Seeing that his son still did not understand what he meant, Dion took back the tablet he had previously handed to Sean and opened a new tab so everyone could see its contents.
"Tomorrow morning at nine, the heir who will inherit control of the eastern region of Melvin Continent will open a stock offering market. He will sell twenty percent of his shares to maintain the liquidity of their businesses."
"They’ve never sold any before? Not at all? Not even one percent?" Sean asked.
Dion shook his head.
"They’ve used various excuses to avoid selling shares to the public. Since a ruler from another continent is supporting them from behind the scenes, we can only turn a blind eye to this matter. Besides, their status and businesses are far weaker than those of the other three regions of Melvin Continent."
Sean glanced at the two men standing beside him, his brows slightly furrowed.
Orland Hesh and Hans Xin both scratched their noses, which weren’t itchy in the slightest, pretending not to notice Sean’s gaze.
"I’ll take you there under a different identity. Not as my son, but as the son of a nouveau riche family in the eastern region of Melvin Continent. You’ll have to make the bids yourself."
Dion paused briefly before continuing.
"And you must convince every account holder involved in buying and selling these shares to sell their shares to you at the exact moment the bidding takes place."
"They’re limiting the number of shares each person can purchase? Aren’t they being overly cautious for a market that’s just opening?" Sean asked.
Dion nodded with a faint smile. "You’ll understand why once you find out who is actually supporting that successor."
"You want me to use the same method I used on you last time against all of them?"
Dion nodded again. "I’ll gather all the information about the people attending tomorrow morning. I’ll also help you release it to the public at the exact moment the bidding takes place."
Sean’s eyes gleamed. "You want to destroy their businesses with this?"
"Not destroy them. With only twenty percent of their shares, that won’t be enough. I just want you to create a little chaos through those shares."
"The information about the newly released stock sale will be published one hour after the purchases are completed. I’ll pick you up before that happens. Once the heir realizes what’s happened, he’ll surely understand that someone is targeting him. We’ll use that time to look for your mother."
Sean looked at Dion with sparkling eyes for the first time since they arrived in Karua.
"You’re actually pretty clever. I’ll go with you."
Dion nodded in satisfaction. He then glanced at the two grown men in front of him with a sneer, as if to say, See? My son has already acknowledged me.
Orland Hesh and Hans Xin merely sneered before turning their attention to their own sons, who couldn’t care less about them.
Hans snorted. "In that case, Kevin, you can come with me now. We’ll capture the accomplices of the people who kidnapped your mother and injured your three grandmothers."
Kevin nodded. He quickly cleared away his eating utensils and threw them into the trash before putting his computer into his backpack.
"I’ll make those people pay," Kevin told his two brothers. "Take good care of yourselves."
Sean and Zahn nodded.
"I’ll bring our mother back. We’ll all be together again soon," Sean added.
Kevin nodded before hurrying away with Hans, who was already waiting for him by the door.
"Take good care of my son, Hans. Your son is under my control. If anything happens, you know what the consequences will be," Orland said.
Hans merely waved his hand. He draped his jacket over one arm and made an OK sign with the other.
Dion Sexa gathered his belongings before rising from his chair. Sean immediately followed him.
Before leaving, Sean gently patted Zahn on the head.
"Take good care of our three grandmothers. You’re the backbone of our family. Think before you act, understand?"
Zahn pursed his lips but eventually nodded.
"I understand. Stop treating me like a child. I’ll take proper care of all three of them and bring them to Melvin City’s capital as soon as they regain consciousness."
Sean nodded and waved goodbye as he followed Dion, who had already walked out.
Orland, who was beside him, said nothing. He sat back down and became occupied with his computer again.
Meanwhile, Zahn watched Jexy, who had now been moved to the same ward as Jesy and Jezy. He examined Jexy’s physical condition using several indicators he had previously learned about from Jezy. After confirming that everything was normal, Zahn sat down across from Orland.
"Aren’t you going to ask me anything? About my mother or my three grandmothers?" Zahn finally asked.
Orland looked up and studied Zahn for a few moments before closing his computer.
"Do I have to? Would you tell me anything I asked? You didn’t even answer what your father asked you last night."
Zahn leaned back in his chair and blinked several times.
"You’re different from my father. And you said Mother obeys you. Although you’re not entirely a good person, Sean has already accepted you to some extent. Kevin doesn’t have a problem with you either."
"And?" Orland asked, observing Zahn.
"Does Mother really obey you?" Zahn fell silent for a moment before continuing. "Why doesn’t Mother remember you either, just like the others? Are you lying to us?"
Orland leaned back in his chair and let out a quiet sigh.
"Do you want me to tell you everything?"
"Honestly, I don’t really care that much, but..."
Bang!
The sound of a door being forced open came from outside.
Orland and Zahn immediately stood up and turned toward the door. Three doctors with somewhat tense expressions quickly entered and approached them. Their gazes briefly settled on Orland before finally shifting to Zahn.
"Are you Mrs. Hana’s son?" one of the doctors asked.
