My Three Babies Have Different Fathers

Chapter 69: You must be ruined this time

Hana stared at the woman with wide eyes.

The woman leaned forward again and grabbed Hana by her long hair.

"Hana, don’t blame me. I gave you a chance back then, but you refused to accept it. Instead, you came back and tried to approach my son again. You dared to throw my son into chaos all over again. You even nearly jeopardized his position as the successor to the eastern region of the Melvin Continent."

The hatred in the woman’s gaze became even more apparent.

"If I don’t make my son realize this time that you’re nothing but a poor woman who can’t even support herself properly, wouldn’t that mean I’m letting him fall into a terrible abyss?"

She smiled before tightening her grip on Hana’s hair, forcing her to raise her head and keep looking at her.

"You must be ruined this time, Hana. Completely ruined. Until Laila is the only woman left for my son."

Hana shook her head. Her entire body trembled violently as tears began to gather in her eyes.

"I don’t want this... Please, don’t do this. I’ll stay away from Brandon. All right? I promise I’ll stay away from him!" she said in a trembling voice.

Hana truly didn’t want any of this. She only wanted to return to Karua City and see her three sons, who were still waiting for her at home. She had absolutely no intention of becoming Brandon’s mistress.

Besides, she couldn’t even remember who the woman tormenting her with such horrible threats was.

Why was everyone so cruel to her?

The woman gently patted Hana’s cheek.

"With a face this ugly, I really have to question my son’s taste in women."

After saying that, she leaned back against her seat again and waved her hand.

"Drive faster. I need to take this woman to her new home as soon as possible."

The woman then closed her eyes, paying no attention to Hana’s screams or struggles.

Seeing that their mistress was no longer paying attention to Hana, one of her subordinates immediately grabbed a cleaning cloth beside him and stuffed it into the girl’s mouth to silence her. Meanwhile, the other two subordinates continued holding Hana’s hands to keep her from fighting back.

----

As soon as they arrived at Hana’s parents’ cemetery, Sean immediately got out of the car and hurried into the grounds.

Dion smiled faintly at Sean’s enthusiasm. He straightened his suit and fixed his hair before getting out of the car to follow him.

However, just as they reached the cemetery entrance, several of Dion’s men, who had been sent ahead, immediately knelt before him with pale faces.

"Sir..." One of them lowered his head even further. "We arrived too late. Miss Hana left the cemetery ten minutes ago."

Dion froze. He stared at his subordinate for several moments, his expression darkening.

Thud!

He kicked the man with all his strength.

"Didn’t I tell you to move faster?"

Dion loosened his tie, which suddenly felt as though it were choking him. His breathing grew rapid, and anger sharpened his gaze.

Sean returned from inside the cemetery with a somber expression. He had just been about to approach Dion when he saw the man preparing to beat another one of his subordinates.

"Stop!" Sean shouted.

Dion’s fist halted in midair. He turned and looked at Sean.

However, Sean didn’t return his gaze. Instead, he stood straight and examined Dion’s subordinates, who were still bowing their heads in fear.

"Have you checked the CCTV footage around this cemetery?" he asked. "What did you find? Was there anything strange?"

Dion frowned. "What’s strange about it? Of course the Vein family forcibly took Hana back. They wouldn’t let her wander around after finally finding her."

Sean shook his head. "Something isn’t right. This cemetery has clearly been cleaned. There are no footprints on the path leading to the graves."

"And?" Dion asked.

Sean raised his head to look at him.

"Tell them to check the CCTV footage around here."

Dion frowned but eventually nodded.

"Check the CCTV footage immediately!" he ordered.

One of his subordinates, who was still standing stiffly, immediately bowed before hurrying toward the surveillance room near the cemetery entrance.

It didn’t take long for the man to return with a tablet displaying CCTV footage from around forty minutes earlier.

Dion lowered his head, giving Sean room to watch the footage alongside him.

Sean studied the screen carefully. However, as soon as the footage finished playing, he let out a quiet snort.

He lifted his head and looked at Dion.

"In the eastern region of the Melvin Continent, the Vein family is the only one that can do whatever they want without worrying about breaking the law, right?"

Dion nodded. A sharp glint appeared in his eyes as he immediately stood up and called his secretary.

"Track down the eastern ruler’s wife," he ordered.

"Yes, sir," his secretary replied promptly.

Sean immediately ran toward the car, following Dion.

"Drive as fast as you can!" Dion ordered as soon as their car began moving.

---

Meanwhile, Brandon had just finished preparing dinner for Hana by himself when his secretary rushed in and stopped in front of him, breathing heavily.

"Sir, the subordinate I assigned to guard Miss Hana just contacted me. They’ve lost track of her on the road."

Crash!

The plate in Brandon’s hand slipped and shattered against the floor.

He immediately grabbed his secretary by the collar.

"What did you say?" he asked coldly.

The secretary swallowed nervously.

"Miss Hana quietly got out of the car and disappeared while the guards assigned to escort her were distracted."

Brandon shoved his secretary roughly, making the man stumble backward. He immediately took off the apron he was wearing and threw it aside carelessly.

"Get the car ready!" he ordered loudly. "Check the CCTV footage from the last place she was seen. Right now!"

His secretary nodded and hurried outside to carry out the order.

As soon as the car was brought to the residence’s entrance, Brandon immediately pulled aside the driver his secretary had assigned to take him. Without wasting any time, he took the wheel himself.

"Sir!" his secretary shouted, trying to stop him.

However, Brandon paid him no attention. He pressed the accelerator hard and drove toward the last location where Hana had been spotted before disappearing.

The car sped away from the residence. Brandon maneuvered skillfully through traffic, ignoring the honking horns and curses of people forced to get out of his way.

Only one thought occupied his mind at that moment.

His mother had gone behind his back again. And this time, she was definitely planning something crazy against Hana.
