My Three Babies Have Different Fathers
Chapter 70: I only want results
"Ahmm!!" Hana screamed, her mouth still gagged with a piece of cloth.
Brandon’s mother’s subordinates dragged Hana along as they followed her into a moderately sized gambling house in the eastern part of Melvin City.
It wasn’t a luxurious gambling house. It was merely a middle-class establishment frequently visited by lower-class citizens of the Melvin Continent. They were either poor people who desperately wanted to get rich quickly or children of newly wealthy families who tried to mingle in places like this because they believed such establishments would bring them into the upper-class social circle.
The place was filled with nothing but trashy people with misguided thinking who still believed that the places they frequented would lead them to their desired destinations.
Brandon’s mother was greeted personally by the owner of the gambling house.
"Madam," he greeted her.
Brandon’s mother glanced at him briefly before nodding.
"I want to give you something valuable this time." She pointed at Hana, who was still being restrained by her two subordinates. "Her face alone is enough to increase this establishment’s earnings."
The gambling house owner stared at her in surprise before shifting his gaze to Hana. The girl’s hands were still gripped tightly by the subordinates, while the cloth stuffed into her mouth prevented her from uttering a single word.
"Madam, who is she?"
"You don’t need to know." Brandon’s mother answered casually. "I simply want to hand her over to you. Make sure she works properly and get as much use out of her as possible. Squeeze every last bit out of her until there’s nothing left to gain."
The gambling house owner swallowed nervously. Although he was curious about Hana’s identity, he didn’t dare ask any further questions. He simply looked at Brandon’s mother cautiously, trying to understand what she wanted.
However, Brandon’s mother only returned his gaze with a faint smile.
"Very well, Madam. Please go inside first. We need to prepare a few things and determine what kind of work she’ll do according to your wishes."
Brandon’s mother nodded, then followed the gambling house owner toward the VIP room. Her subordinates followed behind, dragging Hana along once more.
As soon as they entered the room, which was still occupied by several people, the gambling house owner immediately frowned.
"Get out!"
The people inside looked at him with displeasure. However, once they realized who the woman walking behind him was, they immediately lowered their heads and hurried out without daring to show any dissatisfaction.
People in the eastern region of the Melvin Continent might not know who ruled the region or who would inherit the position, but there wasn’t a single person who didn’t recognize the wife of the ruler of the eastern region of the Melvin Continent.
Maya Vein, the true head of the Vein family and the woman who controlled nearly all of the family’s businesses.
"Madam," the gambling house owner said cautiously.
He presented her with a document selling Hana to the establishment, along with an agreement outlining the responsibilities the gambling house would have toward the girl in the future.
Seeing the documents, Hana began trembling even more violently. She kept shaking her head, desperately trying to reject the fate being forced upon her. However, no one paid her any attention.
Maya didn’t even look in her direction, let alone examine the document presented to her.
"There’s no need for that document. I’ll take responsibility myself. If anyone dares to rescue her, just mention my name," she said flatly.
"Besides, I don’t need to explain what kind of work she’ll be doing, do I?"
She glanced at Hana with a sneer. "Make sure she never dares to resist her customers again. Make her willing to do her job of her own accord. I don’t care what methods you use. I only want results."
"Make her wish she were dead, yet too afraid to die," she added coldly.
The gambling house owner swallowed hard. Cold sweat trickled down his forehead as he looked at Hana with a hint of pity.
He had often seen girls sold by their own families to places like this. However, Hana’s situation was different. She had been handed over personally by Maya Vein, a woman with enormous influence in the eastern region of the Melvin Continent.
That meant anyone who dared to try to rescue Hana would have to face the Vein family directly. There would be no way around it, let alone any easy way out.
As if to ensure their arrangement would proceed exactly as she wanted, Maya took a black card out of her bag and pushed it toward the gambling house owner.
"Make good use of this. If you follow all my instructions, I won’t interfere with your business for the next ten years."
The man’s eyes immediately lit up at the sight of the black card. The concern he had briefly felt upon seeing Hana’s condition disappeared, replaced by calculations of the profits he could make.
"Very well. I agree," he answered enthusiastically.
He hurriedly took the black card, as though he didn’t want to lose the opportunity that had just been offered to him.
Seeing his reaction, Maya smiled with satisfaction.
"Make her work hard for the next three months. After that, expose her to the public by any means necessary. Spread everything she’s done during those three months."
"Yes, Madam. Absolutely!" the gambling house owner replied without the slightest hesitation.
Maya nodded. After making sure the man understood her orders, she rose from her seat and walked out without saying anything else.
The subordinates who had been holding Hana’s arms shoved her onto the floor before hurrying away without looking back.
Hana let out a weak groan. Her kneecap was still injured. She quickly got up and sat down, adjusting her position so her injured knee wouldn’t touch the floor.
She reached up and pulled the cloth out of her mouth. However, before she could even take a proper breath, the man who owned the establishment had already approached her.
He smiled crookedly, his expression full of mockery.
"I don’t know how you offended Madam Maya, but there’s one thing you need to understand. Once you dare to offend her, you won’t even dare to breathe in her presence."
He then leaned down, looking at Hana’s body with a lecherous expression.
"Since you’ll be serving my customers starting today, you won’t mind serving me first, will you?"
Hana immediately held her breath. She shook her head vigorously and tried to move away from him.
"I don’t want to. Please, don’t do this to me," she pleaded, her face filled with panic.
"Consider it practice. After all, this is Madam Maya’s order," the man said as he approached Hana, who kept trying to retreat.
Hana stared at him in horror. She hurriedly ran toward the corner of the room, enduring the pain in her knee.
Her hand reached for a large vase beside her, and she raised it toward the man.
"Don’t come any closer, or I’ll kill myself right now!" Hana threatened.
