CHAPTER 586

“….”

Ray blinked.

His heart pounded in tandem with the shock of what he had just heard from the Celestial inside his mind.

‘Wha-What?!’

He didn’t waste any time before spinning around inside his mindspace, his eyes landing on the Celestial, who was rubbing his chin in deep thought.

Elyon seemed completely absorbed in his thoughts, his mind whirring as he considered something. After a few moments, he nodded, seemingly becoming more certain of whatever he had just figured out.

“Yes. Yes, this could work. I-I remember this. And I don’t know, but it seems I can recall some things better ever since I came into this Celestial Realm. I don’t know why, but my willpower is st—”

“Mehn, fuck that. Give me a way out of here!” Ray snapped.

Elyon breathed in before letting out a sigh and nodding.

“The room you all are in is, uh….” He rubbed his head before snapping his fingers.

“…. A Celestial Space. It is powered by Celestial energy to keep people trapped inside it. The space-time works differently from the real world, or maybe even the Celestial Realm itself.

“As we have already seen, this Realm we’re in was created by one of the First Ones, with the condition that any species aside from Celestials would be nerfed. Likewise, a condition was placed on this room.”

Ray raised a brow, deep in thought.

“So does that mean the Realm is just like this room? A Conjuration for Celestials?”

Elyon nodded.

“Yeah. Think of the Realm as a Domain for the Celestials, while a space like this is meant to hold dangerous individuals. With the condition that no matter what is done, nobody can escape, which makes your efforts futile.”

“So what? What do I do to escape?”

Elyon thought for a few seconds, his eyes quietly taking in the white expanse before him.

“A counter.”

“A counter?” Ray’s brow arched upward.

Elyon nodded.

“This room is just like the Celestial Realm, so in order to escape, you need a counter. But then, you aren’t strong enough to counter the First One yet. We don’t even know who created this space.” The Celestial tapped his chin thoughtfully.

“… But then, we can create a rune to escape.”

“Rune? Didn’t you mention something like this one time?”

“Yes. If you need to escape, you could possibly create a rune, a portal to another realm or world. But at your level, unfortunately, only you can escape through the portal.

“Because to do so, you will need to expend Celestial energy.”

“Celestial energy? I do—Oh. This could work.” Ray muttered as he brought up a small tab in front of his eyes.

[Celestial Points: 500/500]

“But then, your Celestial energy is too little, so only you will be able to pass through because you can’t sustain it for long. Which means you will have to abandon your friends here at the mercy of the Celestials, which we both know you w—”

“NEVER!” Ray roared as he slammed his fist onto the armrest of the chair.

His teeth ground together as he considered the possibilities, desperately searching for a solution, but nothing came to mind.

Even if a third of his strength hadn’t been taken away from him, he still wouldn’t be strong enough to challenge the Celestials here.

Although he had been focused on Edd earlier, his perception had taken in the entire realm. There were hundreds of thousands of Celestials roaming around.

Celestials whose strength and power were still unknown to him.

He had already gotten a firsthand taste of Edd’s strength, and then there were those so-called First Ones.

Escaping now wouldn’t benefit him anyway, especially since he didn’t even know where he would end up.

‘Fuck. I was so fixed on strengthening my Werewolf and Lightning bloodlines that I totally neglected my Celestial side. If only, if only I-I was strong enough.’ He groaned inwardly, clutching his hair tightly in his grasp.

His eyes darted towards the Celestial Points displayed before him.

‘System. You were vague about these Celestial Points. Now that we’re in the Celestial Realm, you should have a lot to say about them. How can I utilize them better? What are their benefits? Spill everything.’

He hesitated for a moment before adding in a low tone.

‘… And everything Elyon said, is it true?’

A few seconds of silence followed, and the delay began to worry the Tribrid.

‘Di-Did they possibly get my sy—’

A low chime interrupted his thoughts as the System began speaking.

[Affirmative. Everything the Celestial Elyon said is true. Your Celestial Points can be used to power runes that could transport you to wherever the rune is set to take you, provided you draw the correct runes.]

The System fell silent for a few moments before continuing.

[As for the Points, as I mentioned earlier, Celestial Points can now be used to power your Celestial transformation. Full or partial, it doesn’t matter. Additionally, the Points can now be used to access the Celestial Realm whenever you want, provided you have enough Points and authorization to enter the Realm. And to do that, you will need full permission and possibly acknowledgement from the First Ones.]

‘Fuck that. Why the hell would I need to come into this Godforsaken realm in the first place? Anything else?!’

[…]

[Lastly, Celestial Points can be utilized to create a Celestial’s own space, otherwise known as a ‘Domain’, just like the one you are in right now. Provided you have enough Points.]

‘….’

“Do-Domain? Like the room we’re in at the moment?”

[Affirmative.]

‘Wait. Could this be the counter Elyon spoke of? If I were to create my own Domain, I could be able to bypass the rules set on this room and possibly escape with my friends from there.

‘Tha-that could work too.’

Suddenly, his eyes lit up as a spark of hope surged through his heart. He immediately turned towards the System.

“Ho-How many Points do I need?”

[Calculating….]

[Host is expected to have five thousand Celestial Points in order to create a small Domain of their own.]
