My Undead Legion Kills God's

Chapter 161: Blue Priest.

The New Eidolon Priest’s ears immediately pricked up, he leaned in closer towards the Divine Priest, as if he was afraid someone else would overhear their plot.

"How do you suggest we make our move?" The Eidolon Priest asked.

The Divine Priest knew full well what level the Eidolon Priest was at. He was strong, but only ordinary compared to those monsters in the Ruins of Humanity. Charging into the ruins without a plan would be nothing more than suicide, especially when there were only two of them left.

"We wait for the night sky and the clouds to hide the sun, when the frozen water drops and is carried by powerful wind, we strike, because I believe that is when they will least expect us."

The New Eidolon Priest remained silent for a few seconds, considering the Divine Priest’s words. He glanced towards the ruined landscape around them, then back at his companion. The plan wasn’t complicated, but that was probably for the best. Neither of them had the luxury of wasting their remaining strength, especially when there was no one left to replace them.

"Hmm."

"What if you end up fighting those foul-smelling, resource-stealing, weird-looking APES right now?"

The Divine Priest looked back at the Eidolon Priest, but he hurriedly shook his head and pointed up at the fallen wooden wall.

"What are you pointing at?" The Divine Priest muttered before turning around.

When the Divine Priest turned his head, his expression froze. Because it was Damien, standing side by side with a walking skeleton.

The sight alone would have been bad enough, but what truly terrified the Divine Priest was the cold smirk on Damien’s face. It was all too familiar, the same expression that had appeared whenever the Wretched King was about to do something that made its fur stand on end.

"Wretched King, you have returned. Die!"

The Divine Priest’s body exploded with pale blue light as he shot towards Damien. There was no hesitation in its movement, the moment it recognized Damien, it attacked.

It was so quick that Damien was momentarily stunned, but he was still able to respond with a fist of his own.

Their fists collided.

The collapsed wooden wall crumbled completely and the resounding bang reverberated through the sunken hole that led into the endless icy nothingness below. Pieces of rotten wood and frozen debris scattered in every direction from the impact, while the force of the collision pushed both of them apart.

The Divine Priest shot back, not making the mistake of finding out what Damien’s undead Lich could do. Its gaze briefly shifted towards the walking skeleton before it created distance, clearly unwilling to give Damien and his strange undead another an opportunity.

Damien on the other hand was clearly stunned. His arm was actually numb from that exchange. He hadn’t expected the creature to suddenly possess that level of strength, especially after seeing how pathetic it had been before.

That clearly meant that the current priest was almost comparable to a high-level Dormant-rank Awakened in terms of physical prowess.

Damien spread his arms, his expression becoming amused despite the numbness in his arm.

"New Eidolon Priest, what happened, pal? The last time I saw you, you were grovelling and praying each day that the Chief doesn’t kill you. If I had known you were going to get this powerful, I would have put in more effort in murdering you."

The Divine Priest snarled.

"I am no longer the Eidolon Priest. He is."

The New Eidolon Priest waved at Damien, making his presence known.

Damien glanced between the two Eidolons, taking a moment to process the fact that the one who had previously spent its days trembling before the Chief had somehow gained enough strength to become a completely different creature, while the other had apparently stolen its old title without bothering to come up with a proper replacement for itself.

Damien wore an exaggerated expression of sorrow. "Oh my, I am so sorry. What are you called now, pal... Blue Priest, Priest Blue, Scaled Blue Priest?"

The Divine Priest roared angrily. "Changing the position of the blue and priest doesn’t make the name sound any different!"

Damien froze for a moment, genuinely considering the complaint. His eyes shifted upwards as though he was going through every possible combination in his head before slowly looking back at the Divine Priest.

"So Blue Scaled Priest then?"

"I am the Divine Priest, do not refer to me by anything other than such." He growled angrily, with cold mist coming out of his nose. His pale blue aura continued to flicker around his body, making the air around him noticeably colder, but Damien didn’t seem particularly concerned about it. Instead, he simply stared at the creature in front of him, his expression slowly becoming more thoughtful.

Damien sighed heavily. "What’s this feeling I’m having? I have definitely never felt it before."

The Divine Priest was suspicious of that, but he still retorted. "Perhaps it is the feeling of death approaching, because you’re surely going to die here today. You shouldn’t have made the mistake of coming here, Wretched King."

Damien’s eyes lit up. "No, it’s definitely not that. I am already dead, you see. This is something else entirely... ahh, yes." He said with an exaggerated breath of cold air, his gaze remaining fixed on the Divine Priest as though he had finally managed to identify the strange sensation that had been bothering him.

For some reason, the moment the Divine Priest appeared in front of him, Damien had felt something unfamiliar. It wasn’t fear, and it wasn’t the instinctive caution he usually felt when facing something stronger than himself. Even after the exchange of fists, when his arm had gone numb from the impact, the feeling hadn’t disappeared. If anything, it had only become more noticeable.

Damien slowly studied the Divine Priest from head to toe. The creature was stronger than before, much stronger, and yet that wasn’t what had caught his attention.

"Wait, Now I remember."

He turned to the undead lich. "Don’t tell me you want to eat him?".
