My Wife Might Be a Saintess
Chapter 600 - 599: He Is My Everything
Chapter 600: Chapter 599: He Is My Everything
Jiang Zuo had created the Celestial Shaping Pill after surpassing the Supreme level; it wasn’t something that could be concocted so easily.
It would be better to try concocting the Shaping Pill instead. With his current Cultivation, success was still a possibility.
As for the Celestial God Flower, Jiang Zuo was somewhat interested, but it wasn’t time to go get it.
And so, his interest vanished.
Afterward, Jiang Zuo left. The giant waves were gone now, and although everyone was curious, no one went out to investigate.
Chuanhe Town instantly quieted down.
However, Chuanhe Town had televisions and got the news. By morning, everyone would probably be able to see the reports from the outside world.
But Jiang Zuo paid it no mind.
After Jiang Zuo had left, the Tofu Boss looked at Lu Zhen.
In truth, Lu Zhen was still reeling in shock from seeing the man in the sky. Besides, he couldn’t understand what Jiang Zuo and the others were talking about anyway.
All that talk about flowers and herbs was beyond him.
"Want to stay and help me run the shop? Room and board is included," the Tofu Boss said.
Lu Zhen said excitedly, "Yes, I do! I do!"
’Food to eat and a place to stay—how could he refuse such a good deal?’
The Tofu Boss sighed. He figured Jiang Zuo was right. ’If this kid went out on his own, he’d definitely die young.’
Afterward, Jiang Zuo returned to the Rainy Day Cottage and went to his room.
After leaving Sweet Potato and Duan Qiao in the main room, Jiang Zuo went into his own room and sat down on the balcony.
He wasn’t doing anything special, just came out to look at the moon and the stars.
’He had nothing better to do, after all.’

「Meanwhile, in the Saintess Pool」
Su Qi opened her eyes and gazed at the sky. "Senior Sister, I can’t even stand up right now. Is it going to get worse?"
Jingyue kept her eyes closed, absorbing the Immortal Spiritual Qi. "Don’t worry," she said. "Your husband’s fortune is ridiculously good. As long as he’s around, you’ll be fine."
Su Qi asked, "Is that really true? I’ve never felt like he’s particularly lucky."
Jingyue opened her eyes and looked at Su Qi. "He managed to marry our little complainer, and you *still* don’t think he’s lucky? His fortune surpasses what others could accumulate in several lifetimes."
"I feel like I’m pretty average," Su Qi said.
Jingyue sounded resigned. "That’s exactly why he’s so lucky. His good fortune is directly proportional to how silly you are.
Who else could ever marry a girl as silly as you?"
Su Qi corrected her, "I’m a married woman now."
Jingyue was speechless. "..."
Su Qi’s expression dimmed. "Senior Sister, according to you, the only reason I’m all right is thanks to my husband.
So tell me... what am I supposed to do if one day my husband can’t suppress the misfortune anymore?"
Jingyue paused, stunned. "I never thought our little complainer would consider such a profound question when it comes to her husband."
"Senior Sister, I’m being serious," Su Qi said plaintively.
Jingyue sighed. "This question is just like the dilemma back then, about whether or not you should tell your husband you’re a Cultivator.
No matter how you look at it, none of the answers are good."
Su Qi’s spirits fell at once. ’The Broken Misfortune Coin.’
Then Jingyue added, "Alright, let’s stop talking about your husband. Let’s talk about you. If the misfortune couldn’t be suppressed, would you leave him?"
"Never," Su Qi said without a shred of hesitation. "Even if I’m gone, he can’t even think about finding another woman."
"So there you go," Jingyue said. "Just be at ease and keep being your selfish little self. Don’t think too much about it."
"Senior Sister, when you put it like that, I feel like I’m a selfish, awful woman.
My mind is so full of my husband that there’s no room for anything else. That’s not a very likable trait," Su Qi said, gazing forlornly at Jingyue.
"Then let’s follow that thought. You keep clinging to your husband, and he starts to hate you, maybe even tries to kill you. What would you do then?" Jingyue asked suddenly, looking at Su Qi.
Su Qi replied, "Then I’d have even more reason not to leave. If he dares to hit me, if he dares to curse at me, I’ll follow him everywhere. Every single day. I’ll annoy him to death.
And I’ll cultivate harder so I can become stronger than him. I’ll make it so he’s completely powerless against me.
That’ll teach him to hit me and curse at me, to not love and cherish me."
Jingyue was stunned silent for a few moments before finally saying, "You little complainer... you’re a real psycho, you know that?"
"Ahhh, Senior Sister! What if my husband really does end up hating me in the end?" Su Qi grew unhappy.
Jingyue hesitated for a long time before finally asking, "Can’t you just learn to let go?"
Su Qi shook her head. "I can’t. Senior Sister, you might not know this...
...but I met him when I was twelve. I hated him at first, but after a while, because of certain things, I realized he was actually okay."
Then, Su Qi said happily, "Senior Sister, did you know? During the New Year that year, I received the first gift he ever gave me.
I don’t know why, but I was so happy. I never felt anything when other people gave me presents.
Like from you or Master, for example. I never wanted any of those."
’Dark lines seemed to appear on Jingyue’s face. You really didn’t have to say that last part.’
Su Qi continued cheerfully, "I remember he confessed to me in our third year. I was so overjoyed back then.
I think I was happier than when I became the Saintess.
From that point on, he became an indispensable part of my life.
Everything about him is imprinted on my soul, etched into my memory. It can’t be erased or wiped clean."
Then Su Qi looked at Jingyue, her smile like a blooming flower. "So, I can’t possibly forget him, much less let him go. He’s my everything."
Jingyue stared blankly at Su Qi, then sighed. "I understand. So don’t worry so much. Maybe he feels the same way about you?"
Su Qi nodded emphatically. "Mhm."

「The next morning」
Jiang Zuo woke up early. It was time for him to take a trip to the Holy Land.
’Yeah, I should go take a look at that journal soon. Su Qi’s childhood mentality was fascinating.
I’m really curious to see it.’
But just as he reached the exit of the Rainy Day Cottage, he saw Boss He and his daughter.
This time, Boss He finally managed to see Jiang Zuo.
Boss He was stunned for a moment, then immediately hurried over. "What are you doing here, young man?"
"Staying here," Jiang Zuo said offhandedly.
Boss He was speechless for a moment.
He felt like he had asked a foolish question. He quickly added, "Next time you want to stay, young man, just let me know directly. There’s no need to waste your money."
"Not necessary," Jiang Zuo replied.
’That would be too much trouble. I’d rather just follow the standard procedure.’
Just then, Xiaoye also said politely, "Good morning, sir."
Jiang Zuo glanced at Xiaoye. It looked like she was about to head out.
Boss He explained, "You see, there’s a place in the Holy Land that’s suitable for Cultivation right now. Xiaoye has to go early every day to try and reach Tier One as soon as possible."
Jiang Zuo nodded but didn’t say anything.
"Are you heading to the Holy Land too, young man?" Boss He asked.
It was just a wild guess on his part.
But he had guessed correctly.
Then Boss He asked politely, "I don’t suppose you could take Xiaoye in with you, young man? Her senior sister should be on the way, she’s just running a bit late. They should be able to meet up en route."
Jiang Zuo simply nodded again.
In the end, Xiaoye set off toward the Holy Land with Jiang Zuo.
After thanking him, Boss He watched them depart.
For some reason, Boss He wasn’t wary of Jiang Zuo at all.
After all, the man had saved Xiaoye’s life, and she was still carrying the Protective Talisman he had given her.
