Naruto: Adopted Son of Minato
Chapter 759: NASM - 759
Just as he had thought: if that pink bunny hadn’t been valuable, the shop owner wouldn’t have looked so reluctant or been so unwilling to hand it over.
The owner’s expression and reaction made it perfectly clear — the bunny was worth far more than the ten shuriken he’d paid to play. Hiroshi had definitely made a huge profit this round!
"Great! Now I can give this pink bunny to Harumiko. I think she’ll really love it — it’s pink, and every girl has that soft, sweet side that loves things like this. Honestly, I think it’s pretty cute myself!" Hiroshi said, smiling happily as he held the plushie.
He began scanning the crowd, looking for Harumiko. It was getting later now — no longer early morning — and the place was packed with visitors and vendors everywhere.
"I never thought it would get this crowded. It’s already hard enough just moving through the crowd," Hiroshi thought to himself as he looked around.
"Alright, better keep going until I find her. Then I’ll give her this bunny and spend the rest of the day enjoying everything with her," he said, shaking his head slightly but still smiling.
Meanwhile, Harumiko was happily wandering around, looking at every stall and display. Just like most girls, she loved browsing and shopping — and many of the things here were rare and unusual, things neither of them had ever seen before.
"Where could that girl have run off to? I’ve been looking for ages and still no sign. I haven’t checked over there yet — I’ll go take a look. If she’s not here, she must be there," Hiroshi murmured to himself.
He pushed his way through the crowd and reached the other side. It was just as crowded here, if not more — and there were even more stalls set up.
"Even more people over here than on the other side. I wonder what’s so special about this place that everyone flocks here," Hiroshi thought as he squeezed through the tight spaces.
Suddenly, in the distance, he spotted a figure that looked exactly like Harumiko. He pushed even harder toward that spot — getting through was becoming really difficult now.
"I refuse to believe I can’t find her here. This place is absolutely packed. But once I do find her, we’re going to enjoy everything properly — otherwise all this squeezing through crowds will have been for nothing!" he told himself.
And sure enough, his effort paid off. After forcing his way all the way to the front, he found her — Harumiko was crouched down beside a small display, watching little fish swimming around.
"Finally found you! That took so much effort. Who would’ve guessed you’d be here just watching fish? What’s so interesting about little fish anyway?" Hiroshi thought as he walked slowly toward her.
He knelt down beside her and glanced at her face — she was just as pretty and adorable as ever.
"Hiroshi! What are you doing here?" Harumiko asked, beaming when she saw him.
"I was just standing around over there and got bored, so I thought I’d come find you. I didn’t realise it would be this crowded here — or that you’d be standing here watching fish! Oh, right — I almost forgot. This is for you. I saw a shooting game over there, had a go, and won this. I thought you might like it," Hiroshi said with a smile.
Harumiko took the pink bunny from him, and her face instantly lit up with joy — she definitely loved it.
"Thank you so much, Hiroshi! It’s so cute! And it’s pink — it suits me perfectly!" she said happily.
"You’re welcome. I was actually worried you might not like it, but hearing you say that makes me so relieved! You should’ve seen the shopkeeper’s face when I finished — he was totally shocked. He never expected I’d hit all ten balloons perfectly!" Hiroshi laughed.
